One of the best seafood restaurants I’ve been to. Very fresh, very tasty, seafood is perfectly cooked and nice local wine. The owner/staff are very welcoming. Hand sanitiser on each table, very clean place. Excellent value for money. I would highly recommend! We ate here twice during our trip to Athens.

Tiny restaurant with seating mostly in the alleyway. There is always a wait for tables, and the service is exceptionally slow even for Greece, but the staff are extremely sweet and apologetic. The food is amazing - such low prices for quality seafood cooked to perfection. The seafood platter is a mix of fried baby calamari, fried small sardines and fried small shrimp served with lemon. The grilled peppers starter is served chilled with lemon juice, olive oil and red pepper flakes with herbs. Very refreshing. The night I went one of the specials was grilled big shrimps, which were cooked to perfection - not dry, not over cooked. Just seasoned with sea salt and olive oil, with lemon wedges. They were amazing, even better than the grilled shrimp I had at Ramiro in Lisbon. This place is worth the wait. Couldn’t even be mad about the very very slow service but the food made up for it.

Every single dish we ordered here, whether it was a salad or side or seafood was amazing, and we had to come back for another meal during our 2 day stay in Athens. Loved it so much and will be back someday!

I had an amazing crispy fried dorado and delicious fresh calamari from Atlantikos. Loved this seafood spot, both for the food and the service. It has a great ambiance, and the food is very reasonably priced. My entire crispy fish was only €10!! The fish was moist and flaky, and it pulls apart under the slightest touch. Topped off with some fresh lemon juice, and there’s nothing better. The Greek salad was also very flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend this place for seafood!

This place is gorgeous! The fish used to cook the grilled sea bass and the fish soup were super fresh - thus these 2 dishes were absolutely tasty! The seafood platter was very generous in the serving portions as well. Very well fried and cripsy, and the shells of the shrimps can be eaten very easily. The staff were very friendly and provided us with assistance very promptly. They even asked if we were sharing the fish soup and offered to split it into 2 bowls for us. Easily one of the best seafood restaurants we ever ate at. Unluckily the top choice on our menu (steamed mussels) was unavailable that day.

I really liked this place, the staff were welcoming and had a really good social night meeting some new people. The fish is decently priced and although there were not things to blow our minds (except the desert), it was just nice to eat. The fish eggs and anchovies is something that I want to eat from now on. The fried mixed fish was nice. Baked anchovies made.me.really happy. The fish soup felt more like veggie soup with fish on the side. The chickpeas and smoked fish was definitely unexpected. But if you want to try something truly special, the portocalopita orange cake/pie/whatever was truly a well balanced sweet together with the homemade ice cred it was truly amazing. I like the authentic fish vibe and it feels more.like a hidden gem of Athens for fish lovers. Sad I didn't have the chance to taste everything...

Excellent fish, great value for money. This place can easily be walked past but it feels like a great local secret. The beetroot salad was absolutely excellent. We also had the grilled calamari and grilled sea bream, and both were delicious and perfectly cooked. Service is fast and prices are low. If you want seafood in the center of Athens, I would highly recommend Atlantikos.

Looking from outside, this restaurant might not look great but the food is actually delicious. Specialty is fish and highly recommended the shrimp. It was really great. We saw many other dishes from nearby table and any choice seemed great. If you are in the area and you are looking for great food, Atlantikos is a great choice.

Before our visit we have read the positive opinions about this place. It was obvious that we will come here to eat some seafood. We decided to eat fave, whole green beans with potatoes with garlic and olive and fried seafood platter. Drank some wine. Everything tasted great! Some really nice and helpful people work here. If you want eat good for an affordable price in a good atmosphere you have to try out Atlantikos. Finally we have visited Atlantikos one more time before our departure.

The best fish sandwich! We saw this place was well recommended and as we love fish and seafood it was a must for us. This was the best food we had in Athens and all at a great price. We shared the king prawns in honey and the seafood platter but there was no way I was sharing the fish sandwich once I’d tasted it! Super delicious. The house wine was totally drinkable too for 3.50€

We got our drinks after we had already started eating. The tables inside are also very small and very limited space to move around. Overall I’d come back because of the very good food.

The extra 2 minutes away from the main road food venues was so worthwhile. The seafood (combo) platter was great ... and the grilled veggies were just right. I ordered 250 ml of Greek red wine. It is light bodied and just right with this heavy-ish meal. Oh - and they are about 40% less than all the other venues that cater to Tourists. This is casual and a wonderful seafood experience for the buck!

Fantastic sea food, lovely staff, plenty of locals plus some tourists in a rather touristy area in the centre. The fried fresh shrimp (best part of the overall good sea food platter that we had, and which you can also order separately as the locals seem to do) and the creamy fava beans with marinated anchovies and fresh dill were amazing. (the fava were smooth and not watery as so often). The grilled dorada with a side of xorta (greens) was perfectly done, crispy skin, flaky moist tender fall apart flesh . The xorta needed some more olive oil... just ask, they will bring it. Same for the many pots of ice cubes we needed for the wine (really needs the ice) and the raki. A very interesting find were the savoro, small fish (not mackerel as they claimed) that comes marinated in garlic, vinegar, oil, and raisins! Would come again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Athens. The food is richly flavored and inexpensive and well-portioned. This was my second visit and it was just as wonderful as I remember and the setting in an alley is filled with charm. I ordered the chickpeas and smoked fish and would highly recommend it. It should be noted that the menu is only seafood. While I loved this, I was hopeful my travel companion could find an alternative protein option. Either way, we found out that the chips and feta and greens were terrific.

But once you find it, you will be taken by its lovely staff and welcoming vibes. It’s quite an authentic place with high-quality seafood. Seafood and simplicity. We loved the place for it's lack of fancy and excess, it's small, friendly and authentic. The staff was very welcoming and nice. We had soup, salad, seafood, fish and finally, the delicious ice cream. While I enjoyed some parts of the dishes, I wouldn't say it was the best seafood I had in Athens, the food was good enough, it was the experience overall that was amazing and I enjoyed being there and would go back anytime. Not for the food, but for the whole experience of the place. We also loved the fact they were not accepting bookings when we called, so if you find a spot, you're lucky.

Everything here was absolutely fantastic. We got the seafood platter, the dorado, and the garlic sauce. The garlic sauce was more of a mashed potato consistency that was extremely garlicky, sooooo good!!! The seafood platter was fried perfection. And the grilled dorado was flaky and absolutely perfect. I’ve eaten a few seafood dinners in Athens and this is hands down the best I’ve eaten in the city. I’ve enjoyed a whole durado and whole sea bass over two visits to Atlantikos. Their sides are fantastic as well (you can also request half portions to try additional side dishes). Some of the best fava and sides of fresh vegetables I’ve eaten in town. Nice house wine too. I enjoyed my second visit just as much as the first. Well priced and worth visiting!

Great food! Mostly seafood but there's some vegetarian options. I could really recommend this place. My boyfriend ate spaghetti with shrimps and mussels with mashed garlic potatoes and he was delighted. I ate chips, feta and boiled vegatables and it was the simplest and greatest boiled vegetables ever. If you're in Athens You should definitely go there.

There are two menus to choose from - one from the laminated menu and another handwritten menu (see other images - I didn’t snag a photo of this!). We ordered from both, going for the grilled squid, sea bass and grilled big prawns from the handwritten menu, and the seafood platter (which is fried and so delicious - we were tempted to get more!), spaghetti with big shrimp. We also ordered a dish of greens, which were perfectly blanched and subtle. The sea bass was lovely and grilled to perfection; not at all overdone. We got it as a whole fish, but for those less confident with fish bones or not wanting to deal with them, they do also offer a version that accommodates this better. The star is definitely the grilled squid (different name on the menu, but I can’t remember it at the moment) - slightly charred and smoky but with robust meat seasoned beautifully. A must try.
