Had our last lunch here before leaving Tazanzia. Staff were brilliant. The security guard kept touts away and the bar staff were friendly. View was incredible.

This bar is in a stunning location on the beach front which is perfect for sunset views. Service wasnt always the best whilst sat outside as you were often forgotten about. Music is regularly on in the evenings. Prices not too bad, a little more expensive than other bars but worth it for the view

Perfect place to see the sunset, you can see all the kids playing around, merchants offering their products and ships close to the port. We choose a $20 menu, includes a starter, main dish and dessert. The food was good (little bit gourmet) but very good taste. They took a long time to bring the food, probably 50 minutes they should improve that.

Perfect to watch the sunset from here. Great cocktails and I was happy to see some nice alcohol free mocktail options too. Will be back!

Unfortunately for our last night we visited this bar. The service was very slow due to understaffing. A guy who presented himself as the owner was there very drunk. After listening to he's stories he insisted for us to take free drinks, but this guy was a pretty sad case. The short time we listened to him talking and talking and nagging and nagging when we declined was enough for us to rate this place 1 star. It really put a sad old mans face into this place. There is just something very sad when an old man probably in he's sixties is trying to act like he's thirty

The atmospher was nice. The sunset and live music were wonderful. Could not say the same for the food. For the price we paid, we expected a decent food. The seafood linguine was salty but the fish samosa was amazing. Service can be greatly improved, friendly staff but I guess the waiting game seems to be a theme in Zanzibar.

This place has a great location and excellent servers however it is not properly staffed to execute a proper service. We arrived at 6:15PM but didn’t actually get our order in till 7:10PM due to the lack of servers given the number of tables. This was especially frustrating (and kind of ironic) because our plan was to come for happy hour (from 5-7PM) and since our order wasn’t rung in till 7:10PM we didn’t receive the deal. In the big picture, the savings between happy hour vs regular prices was pretty minor but it was annoying nonetheless and the entire ordeal left a bad taste in our mouths. This establishment would benefit if they revisited their staffing numbers and looked to add people to ensure they can properly execute a service - my girlfriend is an expat living in Tanzania (who pretty much eats all her meals out) and after this experience she will be giving her business to the other number of options available by the waterfront to enjoy her Zanzibar sunsets.

Apart of being really good, music was also not to loud and annoying as in many places in Zanzibar. Would love to visit this place again. Had a fantastic evening there with a very nice company.

Nice place for sunset, many people walking by and trying to sell stuff. Good staff but sadly not the food. Very expensive for what it is. Paid 75’000 shillings for king prawns that ok cooked nothing special and 60’000 shillings for fish that was tasteless and dry. As side dishes we each got half a potato.. so we asked for more and got 3/4 potato.. the building inside is quite nice and must be great for music. But for food just go to a cheaper place with better food.
