Pizzas are great and totally home-made. Recommend trying the traditional spicy warm wine too it’s amazing! Service takes a while but why would you be in a rush on Isla del sol? Atmosphere is also lovely - candlelight and good background music!

Although this place was hard to find (don’t trust google maps), we had the most beautiful meal! 3 of us got the trout, which was flawless, and one got the lasagna which was equally delicious. Everything from the food to the ambience was perfect and Pablo was so warm and welcoming. We are just sad we couldn’t stay an extra night to come again! Thanks again Pablo! (Extra shout out to the fresh warm bread!)

Having visited several restaurants on the island, the food was a cut above (but also a little more expensive, especially for the pizzas... it's up to you to see what you prefer). The atmosphere was great and very relaxing. We didn't wait too long (but maybe we got lucky).

We really enjoyed our evening there, a really nice experience. First of all, the owners are very attentive, available and kind. They made sure I had a good vegan meal, it was very appreciated. They made me a veggie rice soup, and a plate with quinoa, steamed veggies and homemade tomato sauce. It was tasty, and healthy! The candles made the whole experience very cozy, romantic and just perfect to end a day of hiking and sun. The sunset view, the location (you have to walk through eucalyptus trees, following the signs), and coming back with flashlights was all part of the experience. It is a bit more expensive than the other restaurants around, but the kindness and openness of the owners, plus the experience is worth it!

Singani sours and beer with the sunset over lake Titicaca, followed by trout a La Pablo. Would recommend this place to anyone coming to Isla del Sol. The food takes a while but this is a one man show, come expecting to wait and enjoy the views and a drink.

Nice sunset views and it’s worth the hike. Friendly staff and food was very good but a bit on the pricy side. Don’t forget your flash light if you are traveling back after sunset.

The restaurant is not exactly at the place where Google Maps suggests, its at the highest place in the village with a great view of the sunset (really romantic litte place). Everything is homemade and delicious, I can really recommend the lasagne. The host/chef is a very likeable and open person. He can tell you everything about the Isla del Sol.

Great views as the place sits at over 4000 meters above sea level. Easily the best pizza on the Lake Titicaca. Be sure to take some time as everything is made in-house from scratch, also the pizza base. The familiar pizza is a perfect size to share for two hungry hikers. Playing cards and other games are available. Well recommended.

Most beautiful small restaurant on the island. When the sun has set the owners come around with candles for the table which makes for a lovely candlelit dinner! Make sure to bring a strong torch to make your way back to your accommodation. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the meat lasagne and my sister had the trout in sauce - both absolutely stunning. You do have to wait quite a while for food but with the sun setting and a glass of wine in hand it is very much worth the wait. We bought a pack of cards to play whilst waiting for food which made the wait not seem so long. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and happy to help. Overall, would highly recommend visiting here whilst on Isla Del Sol - we will probably head there again tomorrow !

This place is magical. I stayed one week on the island and this is definitely my favorite restaurant. They take time to cook, between 40 to 80min but it is going to be worth it. I suggest you go up there, order Lasagna or trouch and enjoy the sunset. If you have a clear sky, you'll see pretty stars so be patient and enjoy the candles and nature. The wine is also good, I tried the Cabernet Sauvignon with a friend. Thank you for all your love and great food! ❤️ I was happy to find such a good cuisine in the island 😸

This is I believe on of the best places on Isla del Sol to eat and see the sun go down. Friends of us told us to go here because they had a really good experience and had one of the best trout and (vegetarian) lasagnes. They said they had to wait pretty long, but it was worth waiting every second. So when went there we first watched the sun go down and then went inside to order our meals. In the menu it already said that they take their time to prepare the meals the best way they can. We ordered the trout and the vegetarian lasagnes. To kill the time the restaurant offered games to play. This all in a very romantic setting with candle light. After waiting for more then a hour we got our food. Well everyone got their food. By this point we were very hungry but it was worth every second. The food was mind blowing, we really enjoyed every bite of it!

Very cute place for candle lit dinner (literally - no lights once the sun has set). They warn you on the menu it will take a while to get food and you do have to wait - but you can enjoy the lovely views. A little more expensive than other options on the island. Make sure you have a flashlight to get back to the village in the dark.

What a lovely place. Las Velas translates to The Candles - you'll have a nice candlelit dinner as the sunset goes down, with the best food we ate in our time in Bolivia. Note that you have to walk through a bit of forest to get here, so bring torches if possible. Really recommend this place.

Great location, splendid views, and a cozy atmosphere – they even go green with candlelight dining after sunset due to a lack of electricity. But, don't show up with a rumbling tummy. We were so starving that we contemplated chewing on a tablecloth at one point. The food? Well, let's just say it was as adventurous as a library. Overcooked veggies and bland flavors – the highlight was the veggie lasagna, but waiting 1.5 hours for it was a marathon. Plus, it's not exactly a budget-friendly spot.

Really nice and cute athmosphere with candles and nice music. The owners were very nice and there is a cool book for travelers to leave their opinions and advice for other travelers. Feels very authentic and the food is very nice: my friend had the best fish she had in years, and next to this there were also delicious vegetarian options. Highly recommend this place! Really nice wine as well (and very full cups!)

Food was very good (not AMAZING, though). Price is too high for what is offered. Place is cozy, though. Very warm and cute. Worth visiting.
