Daat kali mandir is a very famous temple of Dehradun and is dedicated to Kali maa. It is located on Dehradun-Saharanpur road and is around 7.5 km from ISBT. It is believed that while construction of Dehradun-Saharanpur highway was going on, Kali maa came to dream of an engineer and who in turn built and gave idol of Kali to Mahant Gusain to establish temple. People in Dehradun or near by areas seek her blessings while buying new vehicle or when starting a new work.

The daatkali temple is a famous temple of Hindu, which is situated on saharanpur dehradun highway road, that dot kali temple is one of the famous temples of dehradun and that is located 14km away from the city of dehradun. This temple is dedicated to mata kali, hence the temple is also called kali temple and the goddess sati of god shiva 's wife. Mama dat kali temple is also known as "manmatha siddh" and "kali temple". The deity of the deity is said to be one of the main steps in the deity deity. The deity has a big hall in the kali temple. This temple was built in the 13th century in June 1804, when the construction of the temple was being done, it is believed that makali came to the dream of an engineer and gave the image of devi kali to maheshmati sukhbir gusain, the present temple in the valley temple, and this temple was said to have been called "dota kali temple" so the British had to tunnel near this temple to enter doon valley. But, after all the efforts, when the tunnel was not completed, the British had also to pay a title to the court of stopper kali. As the Gurkha general balabhadra thapa established the bhadrakali temple here, there is an ancient bhadrakali temple near the dat kali temple. Devotees believe mother dot kali's lion with feet tight gold stays moored in shivalik mountain range today, The main characteristic of the mata dott kali temple is that there is a divya flame inside the temple, It has been a great tributary since 1921 to the people living in this region. As the people around this region offer obeisance to mata dott kali temple whenever they purchase a new vehicle. This temple is situated on the Banks of dehra - saharanpur road. Therefore, whoever goes from this temple get blessed by mother kali and presents it to the temple for oil, quality, ghee, flour and other articles. There is a crowd of devotees for the purpose of viewing this temple, but on the occasion of the navratri festival the temple has to be closed by a large number of people, sometimes even on the occasion of the navratri festival, where prasadam has to be brought as the blessing of maa kali, where the people receive prasad as the blessing of maa kali. If you come to dehra dun, then visit the kali temple and take the blessing from mother kali in the district of dehradun, besides the dat kali temple, the santali devi temple and the mahasu deity.

When a person starts doing something new in his life, or buys a new vehicle, he definitely comes to Daat Kali temple. Located seven kilometers away from the city, this temple is crowded with devotees on Saturdays and Sundays. Daat Kali Temple is known as the miraculous Shaktipeeth of Maa Kali, which is one of the 9 Shaktipeeths of Mata Sati. This temple situated on the Dehradun and Saharanpur border is crowded with devotees every day, but on Saturday, red flowers, red chunari and coconut are offered to Maa Datkali.

Old Maa kali temple located on way to delhi and saharanpur, very popular, visited by devotees, heavy rush during navratris and weekend. Whenever locals purchase new vehicle, they come to seek blessings of Maa Kaali. You will have to use the old tunnel to reach the temple.
