UPDATE: We returned this evening to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday. Dinner was sooo excellent. I had, get this, the 4-cheese ravioli with beef tenderloin tips and it was awesome. Paired that with a Victory Golden Monkey Ale and a few sips of my wife’s Hayes Valley Cab Sav. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees as well. Also, Kiera our excellent waitperson, took care of us and kept us happy throughout our meal. Highly recommended! Original review: Huge family party that took up way too much time and space but Katherine and the EATaliano crew were awesome and took care of us anyway. I mean, isn’t that what Italian food is all about anyway… bringing together the family? We had family members from 18 to 89 and everyone was well-fed, well-served, and happy. I had the house special salad which was excellent and the Lasagne Bolognese, which was excellent as well. Highly recommended. Note: I always initially rate an Italian restaurant on how their house meat-based lasagne tastes first. My thought is that if they can’t do that right, the rest will be questionable too. Their’s was highly desirable and I will be back.

Quite possibly one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to in terms of food and service. We ordered the vegan gluten free pizza and gluten free Alfredo. Pizza was awful (I’ve had better vegan pizzas). The Alfredo was so watery and had absolutely no flavor. We told our concerns to the waitress and she said “it’s gluten free what were you expecting” when it had nothing to do with the pasta and everything with the sauce. That is also not how you talk to customers!

Is there an option for 6 stars? First time we have been here and it’s been an experience. We sat at the bar and had Omar as our bartender. (Go sit there, he’s awesome). We had bruschetta and calamari for the appetizers. Squeeze some lemon on that calamari and it’s perfect! Ordered the veal chop and the girlfriend ordered lasagna. She loved the lasagna but tasted my veal chop and wished she got that instead. It really was good. Just keep in mind it’s a bit salty but for a good reason! Omar recommended the best pairing wine for what we had ordered and it truly was perfect. Also, made me a special concoction that he created called the fireplace. It’s a smoky whiskey drink that makes an old fashioned taste… well old fashioned. It’s really good. Highly recommend this place. We will be back for pizza next week!

Taste was amazing so did the ambience. The service was good. We wished on weekends and there was live music, with was amazing. They have lost of options for vegetarians as well. I would highly recommend pasta with olive oil base. The dessert can be improved. We had brownie with walnuts along with vanilla ice and chocolate drizzle but brownie wasn't house made that's why was kind of dry and hard around the edges. Otherwise all in all, a must try Italian place. Would love to visit again soon!!

Lobster was delicious. Lasagna was a bit too oily. For the price, I didn't expect burnt bread. Customer service was amazing.

EATAliano was delicious and we definitely came to eat. With Vegan options, pasta, seafood, they have everything you need for a taste of Italy. The seafood linguini is great and as you eat, you just keep finding more and more seafood in the dish. From shrimp to clams, the deliciousness doesn’t stop!

Delicious food. Bruschetta and mushroom ravioli were very tasty. Great cocktails. And it’s a wonderful place. The service was fair, our order took a really long time and also we couldn’t get hold of our waiter easily. That’s the only concern. We had great time though. Again, loved the food.

Visited this place yesterday with a friend and really enjoyed the service. There is a fireplace outside on the patio that I would have loved to sit by but unfortunately another party was already seated. Sat at the bar but was still on the patio side and really enjoyed the experience. I ordered the gnocchi and Scallops and was pleasantly surprised. My only complaint was the scallops were over cooked and didn’t offer the best consistency. Other than that I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quaint vibe and a nice glass of wine with friends or family.

Had the most exceptionally wonderful time here as a first time guest dining in. The atmosphere was excellent and we lucked out by arriving before peak dining hours, so outside of a group event on the patio, the restaurant wasn't all that packed. I had the Salmon Cannelloni which was extremely delicious, along with their NY Cheesecake which was equally satisfying. The service from our server Natasha was awesome, and perhaps the best part of my experience was the delight in knowing I will be back to try some of their other menu items. Highly recommend this location in N. Druid Hills if you're on that side of town. Also recommend you plan on being there for awhile to truly enjoy the experience.

My overall experience was great! The ambience was reminiscent of a musical! We were seated outside per our request and we loved the decorations! I am leaving three stars because the seafood linguini was awful. It had this really weird lemon taste to it.

I used to really love this location. It is our go to for ordering in late night due to their hours. I love Eggplant Parmesan and i am also a Chef. I am listed here on google as Sauces Best Catering but that is besides the point. I know good food. Lately they have just been throwing the Eggplant, (in my opinion not cooked properly ) to it with zero love from the cook. You can tell the eggplant was not prepped with the salt trick and then toweled to draw out all the excess moisture so that when it is breaded and fried and then added to the meal, it has the right texture. Instead it is slick and a bit tough and somewhat bitter. They need to do a much better job of the Eggplant prior to adding it to the dish. I am not impressed anymore with it at all. Thats two weekends in a row now.

Service was excellent a little short handed. The beer on tap I requested was not available, my second choice wasn’t available either. I had the chicken Marsala, my wife had the fettuccine Alfredo. Both of our dishes were bland and lacked seasoning. We spend $130 and I was not satisfied at this location. I threw my leftovers away. Too bland. I have eaten at the battery location and their food was delicious. This location sucked. Our server was good. I won’t be back a to this location. Should have gone to Carrabas in my neck of the woods.

Really enjoyed this new italian place, but I had to give it three stars mainly because of the service. It’s always so slow. BUT - the food is really good. The spaghetti bolognese never disappoints, neither does the bruschetta or the fried mozzarella. I come here just for those mozzarella sometimes. Hope the service can match the quality of the food soon!

I normally don’t give bad reviews but this place was kinda trash. Our server seemed like she hated life and didn’t seem friendly. We tried to talk to her a bit and she seemed grumpy. It’s cool everyone has a bad day. Our food came out and my ravioli was cold and so was my friends. I paid an extra $6 for meatballs which were also cold. Not to mention the breadsticks were tough felt like I was eating jerky. This is probably the first time I haven’t eaten all my food or even enjoyed eating it.

We came from out of town, and we were not disappointed in the least! I never imagined finding such amazing, authentic Italian food in the south! Cassie was the greatest, and all of her recommendations were spot on! When you come, ask to be sat in her section! Not only was the food, and service AMAZING, but we got our food soo fast! Everything was cooked all the way through, and hot when it was placed on our table. We’ll be returning back to Smyrna soon, and when we do, this place will be our first stop because we even put down our bags! Don’t forget: Ask for Cassie!

Service was Bomb!! We made same day reservations so that meant no wait. We sat at the bar and the waiter was so nice and attentive. If your looking for a nice romantic Italian spot that makes you feel as if your in Italy, I suggest you check this place out.

My first entree was not good and the food was cold, although I received it quickly. My 2nd entree was better and Hot. The server/bartender was great and the cocktail was excellent. Will definitely return and try the pizza 🍕

The white pizza with the prosciutto and arugula was delicious, perfect for an aged cheese lover, intensely cheesy in flavor without too much cheese, the crust was thin and nice, and prosciutto was nice. Would definitely get it again. Our server was super nice and hardworking and recommended great food

We had such a great time! Our server, Omar, was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The wine list is Italian heavy, as it should be.

Wonderful experience! I dined alone so I decided to sit at the bar. My server was Omar and he took good care of me :) I had the Caesar salad and seafood linguine, both were delicious (The pasta was a tad over cooked, I like mine, al dente) I love the atmosphere. It has a patio for outside dining (heated in the winter). Full bar. I plan to go back next weekend with my husband. Highly recommend!

We had a reservation for two. We were seated quickly and loved our server. They were kind and prompt. I enjoyed my cocktail but the seafood linguini was not very good. Flavor was average and I do not like it when a dish is served with inedibles. (shrimp tails, clam and mussel shells). Picture one is the pasta, and picture two is everything inedible served in the pasta.

It’s a VERY cute spot! Went here for Mother’s Day. We had reservations for 2pm, and had 0️⃣ zero issues. (Which was great because it was QUITE the commute for us). 🚦 It smelled SO GOOD as you walked toward the entrance. ✔️ Seated immediately. 🤩 The martini was STRONG. 👏🏾 The service was GREAT! 🏆 The food arrived QUICKLY… but my meal just wasn’t good. 🫤 Hubby like the apps (wings & mozzarella sticks). 👍🏾 Once I got home, I ended up cooking (and seasoning my meal) a little more. But honestly, I probably won’t eat it. One & Done for me. 🚫

I would give them a 5 but there is always room to improve. Service was excellent! Food was top notch. Our waiter recommended a wine to go with my seafood linguine, it paired perfectly! I've already recommended to a friend, who is checking it out tomorrow.

Pros: Convenient location, authentic food, beautiful restaurant environment, delicious salad, delicious mussels ! Cons: Wings were not tasty. Tried the garlic aioli and a Parmesan flavor. Expected more from the pizza, I’ve tried much better. Initial Customer Service I was not satisfied with the wait staff. 10 minutes before being acknowledged and another 5 before my drink order was taken. I may try again for a different experience and hopefully increase in stars but it was just average. I’ll brag that the mussels were AHHMAZING and the salad was so fresh and delicious. Will be back for that. For how pricey the restaurant is, the food quality should be much better and the customer service needs improvement. The waitress when acknowledged our table however was a sweetheart but it just seemed that the restaurant was understaffed. Visited 12/8/2021

I've been here a handful of times, it's reliably great food with a good atmosphere. Would recommend the espresso.

Disappointing Experience Overall Slow Service with Average Food and Expensive Slow to get drink and sweetener after being seated at the bar. Chicken soup was fresh and tasty. The best part of the meal Breadsticks are like shoe leather both with soup and spaghettini Spaghettini bolognese was extremely greasy. No veggies in the sauce and the pasta was way overcooked You have to ask for drink refills as the bar tender is not observant enough to bring them on their own.

I’ve been to the battery a few times but this was my first time visiting this restaurant. The customer service was excellent, they had a lot to choose from, and the warm brownie w/ nuts and gelato was de freaking licious… I didn’t particularly care for my entrees and it could have been because I went on a very busy day (the day of the World Series celebration). The food was lacking taste/flavor but it came out quick. The service was really really good and I am willing to give them another try and if it’s still the same I’d return for wine and/or drinks just to patronize… that’s just how good the service was.

The food was just okay for me. For some reason my calamari did not arrive hot, the vegetables were crazy oily as you can see in the picture. They were coated in oil which pooled at the bottom of the dish. The salmon was the best part of the meal. It was served over a bed of Spinach and both were perfectly seasoned.

Loved this place! The food was great and the atmosphere was good too! Our waitress was really nice and helped us with our dinner choices. I had the pesto gnocchi and LOVED it! My boyfriend got the spaghetti and meatballs and loved his. We also really enjoyed the bruschetta! Everything was delicious. Great date place with a nice (small-ish) patio.

My girlfriend and I are local to this place. First time we stopped in, we were delightfully surprised. The outdoor area is still covered and makes you feel like you're outside in an Italian street. Inside has a big bar and a very cool vibe. You can easily dress up formal, or come casual with the kids. There are so many good food options. I would start off with the Charcuterie Board, they do an incredible job! Get yourself a bottle of wine and nice meal. Great service and in the back of a shopping center, so it's quiet!

Absolutely the best restaurant. The owner Marc actually served us. The food, service, hospitality, everything was amazing. No better restaurant. Marc even accommodated my wife in holding onto her purse while we went to the Braves game. Such a gentleman. The best place to go to at the Battery!!!
