I
am
appalled
after
being
in
there
one
day
when
I
was
shopping
for
a
few
customers.
I
bypassed
security
and
went
to
the
station
where
it's
designated
for
us
to
check
out.
I
was
getting
my
items
ready
to
bag
my
customer's
orders
because
lines
were
long
so
I
was
trying
to
be
efficient
for
when
it
was
my
time
to
audit
my
orders
and
pay
for
a
set
of
books
my
daughter
was
buying.
I
was
showing
my
daughter
what
a
day
in
my
field
is
like
and
trying
to
use
it
as
a
learning
moment
when
I
was
abruptly
interrupted
and
I
was
profiled
as
a
thief,
not
sure
where
the
perspective
was
coming
from,
but
the
manager,
Shonda
thought
my
daughter
and
I
were
stealing
when
I
had
multiple
people
I
was
shopping
for,
as
well
as
a
personal
purchase
which
my
daughter
was
holding
for
us.
So
she
made
a
whole
scene
and
wouldn't
stop
going
on
and
on
about
how
the
personal
shoppers
in
their
store
steal
all
the
time
(as
if
it
wasn't
obvious
that
she
was
implying
she
thought
I
was
one
of
those
types
of
shoppers).
She
proceeded
to
check
us
out
personally
and
was
extremely
rude
to
us
both
as
well
as
shoved
my
daughter
over
with
a
cart
because
she
wasn't
moving
fast
enough
to
her
liking.
She
then
falsely
reported
me
to
my
employer
stating
I
left
with
unpaid
items,
which
is
ironic
because
she
personally
checked
me
out.
Hmm,
how
does
that
work?
I
have
never
been
treated
so
poorly
or
spoken
to
so
rudely
in
a
Target
or
in
my
line
of
work
prior
to
this.
I
am
a
top
performer
for
my
company
in
my
region
and
I
have
never,
I
repeat
never
been
accused
of
theft.
She,
as
a
black
woman,
who
I'm
sure
could
understand
in
one
way
or
another
what
it
may
feel
like
to
be
racially
profiled,
for
instance,
should
have
been
a
little
more
empathetic
to
someone
who
is
simply
trying
to
do
their
job
to
their
best
of
their
abilities,
especially
at
a
location
she
"manages",
and
poorly
at
that,
so
it
adds
an
extra
layer
of
circumstances
that
I
wouldn't
typically
have
to
deal
with.
I'm
not
sure
that
the
optics
were
for
her,
but
I
know
that
security
let
me
walk
right
past
them
and
never
approached
or
questioned
me.
So,
I'm
not
sure
what
high
horse
she
may
have
been
on,
but
I,
WE,
deserved
the
benefit
of
the
doubt
and
I
explained
to
her
that
I
was
unaware
of
their
specific
policies
at
their
store,
as
I
am
a
personal
shopper
who
shops
at
multiple
stores
and
that
was
my
first
time
so
my
experiences
are
different.
I
even
apologized
for
the
perceived
misunderstanding
and
she
again,
couldn't
stop
talking
about
how
us
shoppers
are
thieves.
I
wouldn't
be
surprised
if
this
is
self
projection
in
some
way.
I
reported
her
to
higher
ups
and
I
hope
her
behavior
is
rectified.
I
will
never
ever
shop
here
or
for
this
store
ever
again.
I
highly
recommend
you
shop
at
any
other
Target
than
the
one
here.
