I am sorry, if I offend anyone. The Tarakeshwardham Temple is not what I expected. You travel for 2 hrs. from kolkata, and then you get to see a small temple, not at all maintained. People take a bath in the sarovar beside the temple and enter the temple wet. The whole of path to temple is super slippery and if you are not careful, you can break your leg. And, right from the place, you get down from the vehicle, Pandas start following you for offering Puja. My view is that there should be proper system for all temples to offer our prayers and you should feel good visiting your deity.Jai Jai Shiv Shambho 🙏🙏

The Tarakeswar entrance is at a walking distance from the Tarakeswar station..... Every year we go to Tarakeshwar in the third week of the month of Shravan to pour water on Bhole Baba's head...... This year 2023 saw the highest crowd this year. I was going to pour water on Monday. I have given a little video below. You can see how crowded it was this year...... Still we went ahead with great difficulty and poured the water........

It's okay that's why a 3 star. First of all this entry gate built at the crossing of 12no route being a highway and the crossing road leads towards the Holy Temple of Baba Taraknath. The gate as built is good but on the perspective of an important crossing there is still lacking of traffic control making it a accident prone zone. I request everyone who read this review please do good or give at least an effort to request the administration to take necessary steps to resolve the problem and make a step towards safe living.

This gate is located at the entrance of the temple road. This is just a while coming. Well maintained by tarakeswar municipality. The gaye indicating the Mandir pathway. It's decorated by replicas of shivling. Nothing much significant about the gate.

Good experience. However crowd management could be improved. It turns out to be chaotic.
