The staff are very friendly and always greet you when you walk in! They also are great at keeping the place exceptionally clean. The building itself is nice, and the decorations suit it. The outside seating area is nice as well, and always clean. You can also buy many coffee related items that are not food or snacks here, including cute mugs and cups. The food tastes great too, and it usually is not too long of a wait.

25 minute wait for coffee on a Sunday morning. There was ~15 people in the building. For a Starbucks, it was also quite dirty. I have been to a lot of Starbucks but never one which took 2-3 minutes per drink per customer waiting. Whoever owns/operates this place please train your staff better!

Exceptionally friendly. I immediately wanted whatever the drive through voice had (I believe Kendal was her name) as she sounded like she was in an enchanted ocean with the magical bean juice siren herself.

Friendly, but slow service at drive through. I always have a mobile order. When I get to the drive up, I'm told to wait even before I can say I have a mobile order. I sit and wait. There was a line, today's order was 15 minutes past the estimated time given when I placed my order.

I pulled up to drive thur only and was told wait one minute we will be with you as soon as we can. 5 minutes go by I said hello the girl rudely said "I said one minute I'll be with you" I just left I think she was trying to run the clock down to 8 since they closed at 8pm. It was 740pm when I was there. Pretty disappointing all I wanted was a hot chocolate and doesn't the staff realize if we customers don't come by and order they are not needed at this job! There was only one car in front of me. I don't think she was swamped with work.

There is 1 drink I get from here, and when it's made right, it's amazing, but for right now, I'm giving the service 3 stars only because my mom got the same drink I get 2 different times and both times they were made completely wrong, so I had to have them fix them myself.

The menu is very vague...to the point it feels it will eventually just say coffee, food, brew ha ha ...the girl at the window was awesome and on point but you need bigger print for barista ..fine print: no whip cream ....8/10 times I get it and they have to scrape it off

Ordered online, ready at 8:03 the app said. No problem they are not busy and it's now 10 minutes past the pick up time.

I always enjoy Shelby at this location. I will say they have a great staff who actually take pride in their craftsmanship, some true barista's 👍 thats why the line is always so long 😄

Employee's are very nice as well as the atmosphere. Wait time is as expected with any Starbucks location but I don't mind. Drinks are good.

The Mattoon crew is friendly and cheerful. Even in the rush of morning chaos and overload of customers these people make sure to greet every single person that walks through the door and Thank everyone who walks back out. Service is prompt and accurate

Drinks were pretty good. Took a while for someone to come to the front. Was walking to pick up my drink and got splashed with syrup from lady making a drink with no sense of her surroundings.

Kendall was our batista and was super awesome. I can sometimes be forgetful and she didn't let it get to her one bit. Really sweet and kind Thank you!

This Starbucks is my favorite in the area! The lines even though they are usually long tend to go by quick! The only main issue with the drive thru is that it can be difficult to drive around in due to how small it is. If you're a new customer, you have to remember that you need to pull closer to the window than you think you do. The staff are great at what they do and are quite helpful and kind! Don't forget to put a tip for them in their tip jar! If the general manager(s) is reading this, give them all a raise, they deserve it! The best part is that as a regular customer the staff have only messed up my order 2 times out of the hundreds I've been there. My hot chai tea lattes always taste amazing--even when I switch them up! The inside of the building is very warm and comforting and excudes the ultimate coffee shop vibes! I really love the Christmas music they are playing now! I also love the canvas that are across from the counter! The bathrooms are also very modern looking and clean. If you like Starbucks, I would definitely recommend this one!

good coffee though I wish I was paying more attention. I heard my name but didn't see my drink only to realize they place it a little seperate. amazing staff especially for how busy that drive through was. would come back again.

I went here twice... both times were not good. First time they blamed my taste buds and the 2nd time, they just fixed it. I will say, excellent job making things right (Why they're getting 3 stars instead of 1 or 2). While I did have a mess of a problem, by and large, they took care of it. I know it's the times we're living in, so I get it. However, more training is needed. I hope to come back in the future when I'm in town and give them another shot.

Went in to meet a friend and have a coffee while we talked. Service was quick and friendly. The tables however were all a little dirty. They were in need of a good wipe down with a cleaning rag and spray. Restroom looked fairly clean but was without towels.

Beautiful experience here at Starbucks! If I could give it 20 gazillion stars I would! Truly ethereal experience I am feeling here......

Solid location where drinks are made quickly and the staff is super friendly. There's a lot of space to spread out if you want to sit down and enjoy your drink. The atmosphere is relaxing.
