Locally owned and operated restaurant and guesthouse with good food and a nice view of the Mekong River. There is also free wifi here so you can order some food, relax by the river, and plan your next adventure.

What a gem! Just have beem here for the food, but I think the rooms a re also nice to stay. The food itself is amazing! One of the best I experienced in Laos. You should try! The surrounding like the gardens and the view on the Mekong is doing the rest. Go there!

Fantastic place. Excellent food and service. Wonderful spacious rooms with a view of the Mekong River. The owner (Vahn) was very nice and super helpful. A really good person!! I celebrated my birthday here, and Vahn went out of her way to make a special birthday cake and dinner for me. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Staying here was a highlight of my trip.

Beautiful restaurant on the riverside with very nice atmosphere and views. Excellent food including vegetarian and vegan options. And the staff understands the difference between vegetarian and vegan 😉

Nice terrace overlooking the Mekong, good food and pleasant service. Recommended stop in the shade on the way to or from Wat Phu.

Stayed 4 nights here - excellent service, very friendly staff and a lovely room overlooking the river (spectacular sunrise in the morning). Very restful. Gave the food 4/5 (1 lunch was fine but not outstanding) but the breakfasts were 5/5 - great bread, homemade jam, good Laos dishes and excellent coffee. Free bikes, great foreign exchange rates and very comfortable car for pick up from border.

Never forget this Nakorn guesthouse infornt of Nakorn temple and backfornt of Khong river. We have enjoy and happy stay here with 2 nights and end up to 5 nights that make us feel like home with love and care and kindness from One (owner) and Mango (the disable dog that so lucky to have the kindness owner) the staff are pretty sweet and done their best job into us. Here have bike and bicycle for rent. One can provise you the guide map that will rise you to the nice spot and enjoy the Champasak city. We use to walking for the rice field trek about 18 km. And bicycle to the Phu temple for 10km. Then motorbike for Pakse city through to the famous waterfal and last put the motorbike on the boat cross to next island and the next mainland for Tomo temple. Awesome experience here. I suggest to stay in Champasak city than Pakse because lass traffic and lass busy life, more local and nice place and nice people around. The room the food are better. Let stay at Nakorn and say Sabaidi to everyone and you will get the response with smile and sabaidi 😊

5 Stars what is it about Laos that makes me do this. Well at the Nakorn Cafe And Restaurant. it was the quick and delicious food. So according to others they have improved on the ability to deliver the food pronto. Good drink selection too, Cambodian apple cider who knew there was such a thing? Pad Thai vegetarian was not vegetarian had egg, just an FYI, not a deal breaker for me. So the music seems to be influenced by Buddah Cafe, a good selection that catches your mind. All that is missing is some fireflies to create that really good evening, that is called magic. So a pleasant place to while away the hours along the Mekong River, with good food ,drink and music. Hedonism at it's best
