Excellent experience. The environment of the hotel is very pleasant and cosy. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and very clean. The restaurant offers great food with a variety of national dishes and continental food and good service with very friendly and well trained staff. The general manager is very kind and helpful since the first moment with a warm welcome until the check out where she gave us some suggestions for our next stop. Definitely a place to stay if you come to Champasak.

Our best stay in Laos! Beautiful rooms, amazing service and excellent food, this place has it all. It’s located in the center of the little village of Champassak, which is really quiet, cute and peaceful.

We did have a lovely stay at Residence Bassac during Pi Mai. The hotel was so beautiful with a nice garden around. Services were just wonderful. We felt like we were cared for every single things. The restautant inside the hotel is another plus with good menu of foods. A real hidden gem away from business!

Not worth the value. Rooms and hotel on itself looks beautiful. Clean and spacious. However the service degrade the experience feeling. Poor English, short in staff that make difficult to get a drink at the station over the Mekong. The westerner GM shows up twice a day, 8 to 9 on the morning , 8 to 9 on the evening, don't miss him if you need to book excursions or way back to pakse. Double check your tickets then, mistakes are abviously made regularly.

What a charming hotel in town of southern Laos!! The room is very clean and the room design is splendid. All the staffs are friendly and helpful. And the food is soooooooooo good with reasonable price 👍🏻 I really enjoyed my time staying there and will be back for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have stayed here three night last week and was very impressed by this little gem. Located in the middle of the small town of Champasak, it is a place that directly captures you with its charming atmosphere. The rooms are extremely comfortable and brand new. The food at the restaurant is very good and well worth the visit (try a wood oven pizza and home made ice-cream you will not be disappointed).

The quality of Résidence Bassac is outstanding and unique in the region, and it is perfectly located in the charming town of Champassak. The Soum Noum restaurant and the Mékong Sala offer a unique choice of Mediterranean plates and refined Lao food, with homemade fresh products and some original flavors, especially for the desserts. The restaurant also offers a large choice of beverages including high range alcoholic beverages, cocktails and wines. All the rooms have been recently restored by a French architect with stye and particular attention to detail. The rooms are furnished with design and quality furnitures, are absolutely calm, clean and private. The quality of the service is excellent, with fresh fruits and beverages served in the rooms, essential oils diffusor for the night and other pleasant surprises, the restaurant employees are fully attentive to their guests and the management team is committed to a smooth and comfortable stay at the Résidence.

We spent 3 days in this very nice setting. This is the best base camp to visit the surroundings. Closer to the sites to visit than Pakse, much more authentic and less noisy than Pakse. Residence Bassac can also advise you and organise excursions to the best places, that's what we did. Our experience was unforgettable. Breakfast and the restaurant served high quality dishes. I hope to come back as soon as possible, but probably for 1 week, we didn't do everything we wanted to see.

Hello Leo here, planetary walker and discover of beautiful and useful places like this Escape of good taste and peaceful atmosphere ... 😊 I have been 3 days un Champasak all the time visited old ancient temples and looking for a places to relax and feel well from the ambiente, music and friendly atmisphere and found this restaurant. I am more a tea human, didnt stay and eat on this place but enjoyed the cosy space in the evening to lookbback what happen over the day and come down. I all the time get a warm welcoming with a narural smile and rent my bycicle too for my excursions to the temples approx. 8 km far from this place. I recommend highly this place to let flow the whole day in a relaxing space and enjoy so to finish the day with positive feelings 😄 All the best and try it self so you in the area of Campasak and the acient culture of the Khmer temples. This is the best place to stay in Champasak. We only stayed here one night, and I wish we had more time to stay longer. The staff here are exceptional and so professional. We came in the low season and we were given a free upgrade to the larger suite. Location is very peaceful, overlooking the Mekong. Food was some of the best we have had in Laos. I will definitely come back and stay longer next time.
