my
kids
were
involved
in
a
horrible
car
accident
Dec
21st
2021.
They
were
cut
out
of
the
car
and
taken
to
St
Cloud
Hospital.
Upon
arrival
the
emergency
department
was
amazing.
They
got
them
into
rooms
next
to
each
other
so
they
were
not
seperated.
My
two
daughters
had
major
fractures
that
required
surgery.
The
hospital
did
not
have
the
parts
needed
for
my
youngest
daughter
so
they
planned
to
fly
her
to
Minneapolis
for
her
surgery.
While
my
wife
and
I
frantically
tried
to
decide
who
stayed
and
who
drove
to
Minneapolis,
Dr
Jacobs
called
me
and
told
me
he
stopped
the
flight
and
both
of
my
daughers
surgery
would
be
done
in
St
Cloud,
and
he
would
he
doing
the
surgery.
(Along
with
dr
Jacobsen)
.
This
brought
me
to
my
knees.
I
could
not
believe
he
did
that
for
us,
just
to
keep
our
family
together
in
this
horrible
situation.
The
surgeries
went
well
and
we
had
a
LONG
road
to
recovery.
Between
broken
bones,
concussions
and
cuts
and
bruises,
we
expected
years
of
therapy
and
all
that.
Today,
barely
6
months
later,
we
got
the
all
clear
for
all
3
kids.
My
son,
now
17,
daughters
15
and
13,
have
little
to
no
long
term
effects.
Thank
you
to
the
Centra
Care
team,
especially
the
pediatric
unit,
the
ER
staff
and
All
the
ortho
team.
Dr
Jacobs
and
Jacobson,
as
well
as
Dr
Morris.
You
kept
our
children
with
us.
For
that.
We
are
forever
grateful
