A temple with large spacious grounds, with vehicles driving in too. Difficult to work out what's where as a tourist and not easy to get decent photos. Many people wandering around too. Note that shoes and socks must be taken off at the entrance gate - only barefoot around in the area.

This place is Myanmar historical pagoda. Tourist can visit but there are not many place to visit or take picture.

The most excited time to visit is the pagoda festival when we watch the sport match called Chin-Lone (which the players have to try not to get down a cain ball, kicking up randomly, at the same time, show the beautiful moves). I don't know the time of pagoda festival. The thing that make me embarrassed is toilet. But it is long times ago. I don't know whether they change now.

Historical pagoda also provide elevator for service and not a touristy area

One of the most underrated Pagoda in Mandalay. Big compound, relatively quiet (it's located inside busy city area), not a lot of people, and most importantly, not over crowded with shops, panhandlers, attractions, etc. Not a touristy place which I think is the best part about this pagoda. You get to experience the real deal of how locals usually visit such pagoda here. If you are here as a local or international tourist, this is a must visit place.
