What a service! I came to here from the review in Agoda Firstly, we booked a non-smoking room for my parents but we were given a non-smoking room with a cigarette smell. Then, we would not wait to long and report to a member of staff at the front. Surprisingly, they managed to move us to another floor with a new room immediately after their check. Thank you very much for a very kind service We will definitely visit this place again Highly recommended

["Bed and comforter quality is good. Housekeeping is well done and the shower's water pressure is satisfying. The breakfast spread is decent and the roof top restaurant offers an awesome view.\nIf you are smell-sensitive like me, ask for a non-smoking room as some rooms have cigarette smell from the previous dwellers.",null,[0,190]]

["We were very happy with our choice of \"The Home Hotel\". The staff was excellent, very friendly and professional. The room was spacious, newly renovated and spotlessly clean. A lot of storage space, bedside tables and plugs on both sides of the bed, good Wi-Fi. There were some power cuts as everywhere in Myanmar, but the hotel fixed it with their generator in short time so AC was running all night if needed. the bed was on the firm side but comfortable enough to have a good night\u2019s sleep. New bathroom with good shower. Highly recommended.\nUpdate: also our second stay was very good. Breakfast has a lot of choices. Central location and Tuktuks readily available for short trips to all central Mandalay sightseeing, restaurants etc. Staff is professional and very helpful. Would always book again.",null,[0,239]]

In addition to the old building with 20 rooms, the HOME Hotel recently launched a new building with over 70 rooms. The two buildings are connected at the second floor with the staircase. Amazed by how well-furnished this hotel is -- each and every single detail such as customized wood carving of the doors, ceiling and furniture -- this hotel will give you not only the comfort but also the beauty of Asian architecture. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the unique design of the furnitures at the lobby -- you will recognize the pattern of the hotel logo from the chair design. What I like more is this hotel got a "single room category" which is quite rare for a hotel to have one. There are very few hotels in Mandalay to have this kind of room type and trust me, this hotel got a cheaper and more comfortable single room in the entire Mandalay city.

Fantastic helpful staff, great rooms, simple but sufficient breakfast on the 10th floor rooftop. What's not to like? Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Home Hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and English speaking. The room is very nice and clean and the shower is great. The only downside is the wifi is not very good and is not encrypted. Other than this, no complaints whatsoever.

Room was clean and breakfast was pretty good. Staff very nice. Hotel under renovation and will be much more luxurious when done. At the moment there is no elevator so go for a low floor. There is secure motorcycle parking. Reception gave good advice about restaurants.

I stayed in this hotel twice: first in November 2018, second this week. I returned because first time they matched my expectations and I was hoping for the same experience. Well, it did not turn to be that way. First of all, I sent an e-mail about a week prior to my arrival asking for car rental offer (which worked just fine last time). Nobody ever replied me. Second, the room window was SO full of bird dirt that you literally couldn't see through it! I remembered the same problem from last time and I find it terrible that they still do not care about it. It is not only ugly but also disgusting!!! Third, I asked for a car to take me to the jetty (I was leaving Mandalay by boat). First they offered me for 6000 kyat, then they realized that I am taking the slightly more expensive boat so they changed the rate to 7000 saying that this jetty is more far away. Well, it is next to the other jetty, 50 meters away! I don't care about the 1000 kyat but I do feel bad about the way they handled the case. Anyway room was OK, bereakfast is quite good as always, checking in and out is quick. Will I return? Unfortunately no. For this rate I give chance to another hotel, I hope somebody will treat returning customers better...

Great hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff and a good location tucked off the main road just enough to give you some space, but still convenient to everything you want to see in Mandalay. The staff were always there to greet us and help with taxis. Solid breakfast too (ask and they'll make you an omelette or eggs however you want)

Place is ok. Breakfast limited, maybe because in low season...not sure. There is no much around. The sky bar was closed. Some Bars near by would over charge you, for us was a plate of pork ribs was 8000 it's (expected 3000). Ask for prices, and be ready not to take it or walk away. Beers were about 2000-3000 for large bottle near the hotel. Draft beer circa 800 kts. Restaurant BBQ 99 next to hotel was ok for food. Prices ok and in menu. In most places they offer a free bowl of soup (some more pleasant than others)...sometimes I struggled to enjoy it and I am quite a good eater. Hotel was clean enough but a bit dated and has seen better days. There is on going work in the building. WiFi worked well at hotel. There was a Chinese group for a quick night...I wish the hotel staff was more assertive with some pushy characters.

The rooms are pretty nice. The parking lots are very limited though.
