Spent two nights here on our holidays and everything was perfect! The location is convenient for touring Mandalay and it is a walking distance to many good restaurants nearby. The entire hotel is uniquely designed, which makes us feel like staying in ancient times Myanmar. As for the room, it was clean and comfortable; the toilet is just wow. Staffs were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Best of all, they have a rooftop bar to view the entire town and free cocktails are served at a certain hour of the day. We would definitely return in the future!

Went here for drinks and the roof top bar has some very good cocktails. It is a bit more relaxed (more like a seared restaurant) than your typical bar. The signature cocktails were great as well. Staff super friendly and accommodating.

Worth every single peny. Very good breakfast (we're vegan and they have options). Rooms are very clean. Staff is kind and looks like they are very aware of western customs. Polite and very friendly, helpful. Highly recommended.

Very loud and poor service. The rooms are very small, a little bit dark and we could not sleep well because the bed is very hard and you can hear all night the honk from cars and scooters. The hotel is located directly next to a crossing of two big streets and it is ver loud at day and at nighttime. The staff have been very friendly but the service was really poor because they never helped us really. Also the transportation from them is very expensive.

Loved it. Very classy Myanmar hotel with great staff and excellent breakfast. We felt like a king and queen here. The bathroom and shower I want in my own home.. the whole place was bricked and decorated like an Asian palace of old.. just awesome! And the wifi is excellent....

I was recommended to this property by a friend. However my stay was less than pleasant. When I got there they couldn't find my reservation and I waited around 20 mins before I could even get my keys. After a long journey from Mogok, and at 1am in the morning, I was pretty cranky to say they least. Clark was uncommunicative and rude When I got to my room I noticed a few issues. 1. Noise you can hear the music from the streets room the entertainment across the street. It didn't die down until 3am when I could finally sleep 2. There was a huge pillar in the middle of the room... why??? 3. The shower area had no partition so when you were taking one, everything got wet. 4. Breakfast was awful. Food was bland and boring. After looking at all the reviews and recommendation In honestly can't figure out why anyone would stay there.

Cracking hotel. Room was a decent size with old wooden style furnishings and flooring, nice exposed brickwork in the shower, firm bed. Had a couple of free cocktails each on the house which was a nice touch, good view of Mandalay from the roof bar, mountains and all. The staff were so lovely - kind, happy, and extremely helpful. Only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer!

Well designed, thoughtful and enlightening to guests. The lobby ambience is such that you feel like king with your own palace. The rooms are decorated with ancient lights, tap and even showers. The facilities are modern though. Great skybar at and dining area on the 6th floor.
