Iteresting market, goods ranging from clothes, textiles, fruit, vegetables to hardwear equipment. The market is really busy so try not to get runed over by a bike. Overall an interesting place to go to in mandalay

Come here in the morning and you can try the various sweets that are sold just outside of the market. The brown sweets made of string beans and toddy palm sugar were not too sweet and had a consistency similar to honeycomb. The market itself felt much more relevant for local customers than Scotts Market in Yangon.

Similar to many other indoor markets in Asia. Narrow alleys between cramped stalls selling almost everything. I didn't see a fresh goods or meat section- maybe missed it. Mainly textiles, clothing, stationary, cosmetics etc. but only saw a fraction of this multi level market.

A real immersion in a huge local market: inside a bazar where you you can find everything (from China). Outside on the plaza, a food market with street food. During 3 h, I have seen only local people. Nov 2019

If you want an authentic local market experience then definitely visit this place. It can be very intense as there are many people there especially on the weekends. The roads are pretty narrow and usually should only be a one way street but somehow they get trucks up and down the street both ways. But even if you're not that interested in buying anything it's well worth just walking through and making your way through an interesting maze of paths.

This is the biggest market is Mandalay City. So you can buy everything there and prices aren't quite expensive. Around market, you can try Myanmar Traditional food and drinks. Northeast of the market, there is a clock tower that was built in 1903 to commemorate the diamond jubilee of Queen Victoria. *Photo Credit*

This is the best place to shop in Myanmar for fabric. This is a local market not necessarily for tourists items. If you're looking for Burmese longyi's I recommend getting them here. The prices were better than in Bagan and Yangon. Most shop keepers I met did not speak English. I used Google translate and a calculator to communicate and negotiate prices. There is an upstairs sectors with people who can mend and sew to finish the longyi's. Bring cash as debit and credit cards won't be accepted.

Huge wholesale Market with narrow alleys and poor lightning. This is definitely part of the charm of this place. Apart from the veg & fruits, a lot of textile, cheap shoes and plastic stuff. I found the street market next to Zegyo way more interesting and full lf life.

A very good place for shopping. Man Myanmar Zay Cho Plaza. If you are good in bargain. Those shop surrounding the plaza can also get good price. The Myanmarese Kuih taste good and cheap . There're many green groceries stall behind the plaza for those who stay in service apartment.

After the COVID period, this market has become less appealing to customers. Several stores and shops have closed down, resulting in some areas being dark due to the shuttered storefronts.

Zay Cho is one of our eye candies as usual. In these days, most of the people are difficult to survive according to the recent conditions such as inflation rate. No matter how worse it is, Zay Cho is still essential for 75% people in MANDALAY.
