5 for service, the hotel is centrally located. It’s cold needs heating in public places and restaurants. We asked for a heater in the room and while dining it was immediately arranged. Food is great. Overall, everyone from door men, reception, concierge, and restaurant staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommend.

Amazing level of service and hospitality. Front desk is always ready to help with a smile on their face. The building itself needs done love but all the amenities are in excellent condition. The pool is a nice size with 4'3" depth and attendants are super helpful. Overall comfortable stay for a really good price if you book in advance.

Courtesy - like never experienced before. The staff starting from front desk to bell boys to waiters & chef is sooo courteous. They don’t leave a chance to make you feel special. The chef visits the tables to make your experience unique & even provided us with one of the recipes. They surprised us with a cake to make our special day more special. Food was good. Breakfast has enough options. We ordered a variety of dishes in lunch too & were not disappointed. Pool, steam, spa - all facilities are well maintained. I wished I clicked more pictures for reference.

Best for cakes and dry cakes. I love there preparation and taste. Freshly made You can get photo cake in half an hour also. They hav a good taste and cost friendly. Do visit for good cakes.

Loved everything about Taj Chandigarh. The courtesy extended, the Cafe, the large auditoriums for events, the greenery around the property... Everything...

The room were simple and comfortable. But the food taste and service were not that great. It has to be improved also it lacks digital controlled room and facilities.

Great hotel. About 45 minutes away from the airport and about 15 min from Chandigarh railway station. The food was ok. Rooms were clean. Staff are helpful. Pleasant experience in total. Cheers!

Hotel in the heart of the city, Sector 17 and walking distance from there. Refreshing pool and steam room adds to the leisure activities.. Enjoyed my stay there.

Had wonderful time at the property. Centrally located along with friendly and courteous staff. The hotel made sure that we get a quiet room as we were travelling with a baby. Food at Dera restaurant was full of flavour and is highly recommended.

I have been booking this hotel for my work as well as personal travel for quiet sometime mainly because they are very family friendly property. They have facility to provide crib as well as bedding on the floor for the nanny for which they do not charge extra. The staff is very friendly and eager to help as and when asked. The rooms are ok, not great but good enough and so is the food but overall not a bad property to stay in

Its a good hotel in sector 17 . If is also having swimming pool inside . Staff is very cooperative and maintain security at priority. Overall its a good place and favourite choice for VIPs of Haryana and Punjab especially as it is also situated nearby City Center ,Chandigarh

It's probably the most poorly managed Taj property in India. Average food, poor service, poor rooms. Recently, I stayed in Pahadganj for the first time and rooms were better than Taj Chandigarh, it's an honest statement. My first bad experience with Taj Chandigarh was about 7 years ago when I had a quick meeting in its lobby and left behind three used tea mugs and came back after 3 hours and to my horror the cups were at the same place. I was shocked. And then I attended a wedding dinner where only two dozen guests were there, the food was poor and the quality of service was quite low. After that I am there only if I am invited by someone to meet. It doesn't have that grace of Taj Hotel.

It's an amazing hotel. Very kind and gentle staff. We were welcomed very nicely. Excellent ammenities. Breakfast was very nice with a lavish spread. Hotel was neat clean and proper covid protocol and maintanence was done. Even at the reception the staff was very welcoming especially Tarun and Rohit Panchal. They were very kind and gentle. Keep up the good work . Must visit hotel.Shall always visit Taj everytime I visit chandigarh👍😁

My kids absolutely love this place. Each and everyone is fabulous and everyone provided an exceptional service. The moment you walk in,the warm welcome from the staff makes you feel at home. We enjoy their breakfast, the variety of food and drinks they offer to us at the restaurant is amazing. Live food stations offer mouth watering food.

Taj properties have a reputation to live upto and its not always all properties can manage it to do it well... Taj Chandigarh does... and how. Right from the smooth check it at an ungodly hour to the ambience and rooms. Food is heavenly... have eaten Biryani the world over and ordered here too again well past normal time... salan that accompanies Biryani has never been consumed, by me , more than a spoon... this one was wow... devoured the full bowl before starting the mains... service was impeccable and stay fabulous... this was a tough period as we were jittery and nervous due to an upcoming exam... but Taj Chandigarh passed with beyond flying colours.... thanks for keeping our faith in the Taj group of hotels and keeping the flag flying..

I went with my family to celebrate our 5th marriage anniversary. We had an amazing stay there. Miss Sargam made us feel like family. And planned a few pleasant surprises for us too. Would again love to be there soon.

My visit to Hotel Taj left me with mixed feelings. While I was initially excited and felt like I was on the moon, I couldn't help but wonder if it was the same Taj I had heard so much about. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, which was a plus. However, I must admit that the cleaning left something to be desired, and I would rate it at 3 out of 5 stars. Overall, my rating feels justified given the contrasting aspects of my experience.

We have been staying with Taj for years. Taj has always been known for elite and best ambiance, food, and hospitality. Taj Chandigarh was really a worst experience. We stayed from 8th June till 10th. Their room was just about decent. Food was highly priced, and quantity was not even enough for one person. Any other 5 star hotel serves better tasting and better quality and quantity of food.. while checking in, the hotel staff smiles and tells us that your breakfast is not included and that you can use the pool. We have a private swimming pool in our home. Why would we be interested in their pool?. Rather what would have helped us is if breakfast is included..since we are on business trip and it saves us time. Any guest staying with Taj would be from a well to do family. Your tariffs are as it is high. It's not a big deal if you charge us for breakfast. So charge us for that and do not tell it's not included. Make it easy for your guests. Someone staying with you is definitely busy and on a work trip. These days, all the best of hotels discourage tipping . But moment you are leaving Taj hotels, minimum 6 guys will be standing ( whom u have not even seen before) expecting tips even for smiling. We visited the Taj Aguada spa and resorts Goa as well recently for dinner. The way they serve sauces and Soups...u get the feeling of a dhaba. Punjab has 100s of dhabas serving better ways. I do not know who is in charge of the hospitality of Taj these days... but I feel any other hotel is better than Taj today's date. I would prefer choosing any other 5 star now on than Taj Hotels

Very nice hotel with warm and courteous staff. Has a great pool. The food is delicious. The property is well maintained.

So 2 star is only for cleanliness otherwise i had lunch in meeting area and it was less than average food prepared by a caterer and mostly disappointed is its toilets don't have water jets.We are living in india and not abroad. Thanks

Excellent hotel, small in size compared to other Taj properties though, but sufficient. Suites are good, service is efficient and food is good. Sorry had no drinks so no idea of bartender but restaurant is good.

Property is located in heart of Chandigarh Sec- 17A. Please Note- property is amazing but is old. Rooms are getting renovated. Even though 5 Star property but rooms are just ok. Food is amazing. This property is must visit actually. I was recently in this beautifull Hotel for 2 days and my experience was just amazing. My Room was very clean very spacious not even a single visible dirt any where in the room bed was very cozy and the way they welcome you is just like you are coming back to your home after visiting somewhere. the staff is very good at everything specially the guy by the name Mr Bhawani is very helpfull,well behaved and always in the front to guide you better. The food was really tasty and yummy specially Rahra ghost i just love non veg🙂 white sauce pasta was mouth watering actually, infact i tried rajmah for the very first time in any 5star hotel and rajmah of Taj was just superb.grilled chicken was also amazing. Thanks to the entire staff members, everyone was very co- operative, with excellent food service. Exhibition was extended by the generosity of the area manager and management. Special thanks to the executive chef, hr department and the other staff members. Would love to do the exhibition again.

Hospitality is the strength of Taj....Chandigarh is no exception. The staff goes out of the way to make guests comfortable. They still need to look at the following issues 1. Valet parking should be provided to the guest 2. 24/7 on in-house phone should be picked up. I found it not being answered on some occasions 3. Spread of breakfast could have been little better 4. They don't pick up the on-line reservation number after 9/10 PM.

The hotel staff was welcoming and hospitable. The overall stay was very comfortable. The room service and in room dining was quick. The service at the reception as well as the Coffee House was great.

Went for lunch at Taj Chandigarh, not serving buffet as of now. Butter chicken and Dal was good. Place needs a re-do as it's become old compared to other Hotels in this category. Self parking only due covid restrictions.

Taj is always great. Good food, great staff. Comfortable stay, hotel is a little old but still almost all of the things are in good place and maintained. Mr. Ravinder was really kind and good at his job at the restaurant both during dinner and breakfast. Next stay in Chandigarh at Taj.

Wah! Nice rooms, roomy and spacious... Slept well, hydrated well(2 liters- no skimping on water supply here like some other places) food was standard fare.. Idlis made from modern recipe batter so neither light or tasty . Just crushed rice flavour.. Sambhar with 3 different chutneys was super but masala dosa of which the dosa was a sheer let down and batata bhaji was super(saving grace or total write off for the dosa) is batter the culprit here? Comeon Taj folks, look into it.... U are destructing a traditional dish not setting blazing standards it.. 😔 Keep the Tata flag flying high...

It was below 4 star... Not at all clean. Rooms looked like some old office converted to hotel. Not at all Taj standards. Disappointing!!

I had been to other luxury hotels but I'll put my experience over here as an emotional one.There is something unique out here which is hard to find elsewhere. The quality and tidiness of the room, the bed and the towel art, the amenities, the ambiance, the facilities were all top notch and much impressive. The hotel staff were very humble, courteous and were always ready to help. This stay will definitely be cherished for a long time. Kudos to the team!! Would definitely like to visit again.

Frankly I did not have any problem during stay as the staff is nice. But in terms of rates for rooms, it is super expansive. Rooms in some lower star categories hotels are far better than here. The breakfast buffet is also below average (not in terms of quality, but the options you get in a 5 star hotel after paying so much)

Stayed here for two nights. Overall very happy with the stay. Great staff. Clean hotel. Great breakfast and dinner options. Gym is a decent size and was clean. I had booked a non smoking room and when I got there they said they only had a smoking room. But they said they’ll put me in a non smoking room soon as one became open the next morning. There was also a confusion with the charges. I had paid for everything when I got to the hotel including early check in. But when I went to go check out they said they had additional charges but couldn’t explain to me what for because everything was already paid for. So he did some looking around and said yes we made a mistake. But then charged my card anyway few days later. Overall great place to stay. Would stay here again.

It’s located right in the center of the city and is a great property. The hospitality is out of this world. Right from the moment you enter till the time you leave there is nothing you can question or wish more of. Absolutely brilliant food and all the restaurant staff led by Gurleen were extremely eager to serve and delight us at every meal. The house keeping staff was very helpful and proactive, the porters were wonderful too. Can’t ask for any more, Thank you Taj for the wonderful stay!

Taj Chandigarh never disappoints. It's my second visit to this hotel. I always like the hospitality of Taj group of hotels across India. Only concern is about the key card. Out of 4 days, every day we need to get it reactivated. We have to go down to reception to get this done. Luckily one day a service person was there on our floor, she opened the door with her master card. We did not try the in room dining. However, the buffet breakfast is good.

We were late for our check-in at the hotel and were tired with all the travel and delayed flights but the staff at front desk was very efficient and prompt in accelerating the check-in. The gentleman Bhavani accommodated all the requirements and helped us with the check in. The additional amenities asked were also promptly delivered. The room was fabulous- nice decor, super comfy, clean and tidy with a fully stacked mini bar, clean and cozy bathrooms and a nice king sized bed. The breakfast buffet was satiating and delicious at the same time. The staff was extremely courteous, prompt and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would visit again whenever I can. 👌👍

I have never stayed here as this is hometown but I have been here for some meals and spa. Today again I was here for the spa. The experience at the spa was as good as I expected. The staff is courteous, helpful and very welcoming. After my message while I was waiting for my car, I requested a cup of tea. It was offered to me immediately and I was not asked to pay for it. They knew I was not staying at the hotel. This is what I call great service! All my meals at this place has been worth every penny.

I am a big fan of Bee Kay's cakes, which are made by one of Chandigarh's greatest bakers. They create stunning and delightful cakes. Since the previous 7-8 years, I have only purchased cakes from them. The nicest part is that they can design whatever you want or show them:) Thank you for making our celebration so special.

Located as logistically better sector 17. Approach to office/commercial areas of Chandigarh is easy and do is easy to reach from airport. The security and front office staff show you warmness, reception staff is also very polite and trained well for their job. Check in was smooth and the rooms are spacious. Service is superb and as usual breakfast is awesome.

Great hospitality and quick response to requests. I just thought the staff at the coffee shop during breakfast over did the enquiry part with someone or the other asking us if everything was fine every two minutes. Rooms, restrooms were well maintained and they have a nice outdoor pool.

The best key of this bakery is that is taste is good and price is reasonable. Also price of cakes is very good if we compared with other. Price is low and taste is good. So go for it and enjoy for it. 👍👏👌

The location is central to the city. The hospitality of the staff was very good. They arranged an extra bed for my kid and did not charge me. The food was good, but not great. In terms of spread, there were many, but quality and taste wise, I expected more. Service at the restaurant was good too. Overall, a good experience.

Awesome place, went to Taj cafe earlier, but this time tried authentic indian food and it was awesome. Loved the presentation, the way service guy explained food, and taste. It was great experience. Bit costlier however to get best you have to pay best. Would visit again.

As we're staying there on 31st night wanted to celebrate with family but they won't allow our son to join as he was only 13. Only restaurant they allowed had limited options. Obviously we are responsible enough not to give alcohol to our kid. It was a major disappointment.

So today morning I went to this place for breakfast with my family but they don’t even have a proper air conditioning running due to which my mother fainted due to heat stroke. Also food was not that good. I ordered masala dosa and the sambhar didn’t even taste good even after waiting for 30 minutes. Although there was preparedness from management if any anything bad were to happen and were even calling the ambulance and brought the wheelchair so that’s good but one doesn’t expect this especially at ‘The Taj’. Hope they rectify this issue soon enough

We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. Cleanliness of the room was spotless. The service we received from check-in to checkout was without a fault. Only thing that irked me was the amount charged for a bag of chips and cashews we consumed during the stay at checkout. The amount charged was almost 4times more than the MRP. They don't even bother to remove the price.
