Airport is considerably big enough with basic shops and Loyalty Lounge. Also, it is is not as big as other Metro City Airports that you'll die walking reaching gate no 987 😅 You get in, go to lounge if you have time or sit at a restaurant, shop for basic stuff if you want and reach gate within 5 minutes. It is clean and looks new. Only drawback is many pigeons are inside airport and loyalty lounge, so you can see bird droppings everywhere except floor which is cleaned every now and then

Small functional airport, sharing base with Indian Air force. Need some organisation to accomodate more commuters. Cleanliness & hygiene well maintained.

Nice well maintained airport. No issues in check in or security, everything is hassle free and helpful staffs. But the food prices are too high and it's not only in this airport, it's in too many. The airport authority should look into this. Otherwise it's good beautiful airport. The information of flights are displayed well in screens to get updated. No issues with luggage.

Well managed airport. Helpful staff. Public services are well maintained & markings are clear. Not much photography allowed of the airstrip view. Calmer environment than usual airports which makes your journey peaceful. Safety is top notch.

The security teams work closely to swiftly clear the queues, making the airport an excellent choice for travelers. The Chandigarh Airport lounge is quite small but sufficiently comfortable. I had easy access with my existing debit card, which was convenient, especially since I wasn't feeling well. I visited primarily to have some fruit. However, upon arrival, I noticed there was only one fruit available - watermelon. I decided to ask the staff if they had any other fruits, and to my delight, they said yes. After a short wait, they brought out freshly cut muskmelon and served it to me at the table. It was a very sweet gesture, and I truly appreciated their kindness

Nice neat and clean airport. There are very few flights are operational at this time. Toilets are also neat and clean. Snacks and tea available inside as well as outside. Prepaid taxi booth is available at exit. You can book on uber and ola as well. In driver app you need to pay 50 extra for toll.

Airport is very small as it’s defense airport. No photography is allowed. Confused with Mohali n Chandigarh airport as understood both are same . Also very hot. Air conditioner is ok only at certain places . Pigeons inside the airport n just walking while travellers are sitting or eating… was very uncomfortable as not sure when they will come n poke anybody. As an NRI I was able to check in easily but seems local have problem as the staff are not so supportive. Very few flights land so need to take bus always to the craft. Premier lounge staff is not so supportive with NRI not even giving any option if we want to buy the lounge pass. More priority given to local language speaking guest n staff in the lounge at reception were not comfortably speaking English so ignoring NRI or outside who does not speak local language They don’t care about the mask. Most of them in the airport mask is not worn.

Relatively small international airport. Well maintained and is beautiful. Not many food options though. Washrooms are clean. Spread over two floors, upper floor has departures and check-in, lower floor has arrivals. There is a liquor store in departures floor but it was closed during our visit. Though it says Chandigarh, airport terminal is situated in Mohali, Punjab. Roads leading to this airport are under construction and are congested at certain points, so plan to have some buffer time while flying out.

💯🙆🙆Domestic Departures at Chandigarh airport are quite sorted. There is no hassle or chaos. Things goes smoothly. We were able to check-in our baggage, clear security checks and we're sitting in front of our alloted gate within 30 mins of entering the airport.😍😍❤️ Cleanliness and hygiene are good. You also have a premium lounge for rest.. Not much options to shop as there are very few brands of retail outlets. Very beautiful. Small airport in beautiful city, Chandigarh maintenance very well. Very clean washroom is also very clean and full hygienic drinking water available in all washrooms outside. Small shopping shops. available also have some small restaurant. They are open. 24 hour. You get very tasty snacks and drinks in nominal price. All airport staff are very helpful. Security staff is also very good. Basically all needs things are available in the airport. It’s very easy to approach from bus station, 43 every one hour and available bus to airport.

Neat and clean airport.. looking at international airport you didnt find many options for eating. Shops are limited this may be due to Covid impact..... I have not seen wifi facilities in the airport which is available in international airport always......

Chandigarh airport has truly become world class! I've been traveling to the city for more than ten years. But the old airport was really sad. This one is huge, has several options for snacks and food, the restrooms are bigger and better, the seating area is spacious and well-lit...this airport is a true transformation.

This airport has remembered the hereos of freedom struggle. Thanx to AAI for showing respect to them & remembering these freedom war hereos. Airport having world class infrastructure. Passenger comfort amenities are provided matching to that of international standards. Clean neat & well maintained premises & toilets. Relaxing arrangements are really good. Travelling through the airport including security checking is hassle free due to presence of Airport Authority of India (AAI) staff. Courteous staff of airlines @ the check in counters. There are buses to all places from here. You tell the address to where you want to go at the bus ticket counters within the airport premises & get a bus ticket from airport itself. Bus boarding point is just outside the airport. Lot of buses are available throughout the day from ISBT-43 & ISBT-17 to come to airport. Bus from airport will take you upto ISBT-43 & the catch another bus to the place where you want to go. So better take ticket upto ISBT-43 from airport. Prepaid taxis & autos are available to/fro this airport.

It is clean and well maintained. Not many flights take off from here so it is not too crowded. Clean washrooms and ample seating. Some landscaping has been done. One huge guitar had been placed for pictures.

Check in...immigration...security is really quick and good but nothing in lounge.. only a coffee shop... the domestic side has more activity... probably less international flights is a reason... but really a hassle free airport with stunning views. During good season it looks straight out of any European city.

Very clean, systematic, lots of space for commuters. Cleaned washrooms, lots of plantation which gives you greenary relaxation in your arrival. In departure, you need not to stand for long, good eatable joints, lots of seats to sit in waiting hall. But they should keep on investing thinking future expansion.

Very clean and beautiful. As it’s the city of garden. A garden is built inside the airport. Less crowded. I couldn’t find any shops while exiting the airport. One must visit once in a lifetime this city. Specially in end of October to enjoy the winter.

Chandigarh Internation Airport is a small but clean airport. Food options are less, don't compare it with T3,IGI airport. Checkin & security process is easy, taxis are available outside. It is not a heavily crowded airport, so it is easy to pick & drop your guests. It is a military airport, so avoid taking photos & videos from airplane window.

Visited for a business trip. Decently managed airport but navigation is a challenge due to limited signages and guiding directions. Limited s seating places in front of boarding gates so during the flight timings it gets crowded.

Chandigarh Airport is a modern airport with all passenger amenities and truly well maintained one too living up to the standards of Chandigarh which is known as a well planned city in India. Used this airport for our visit to Shimla in February-March 2022.

Airport is good in terms of number of passengers it can handle at time . Both domestic & international flights are operating from here . There is good food lounge with variety of options available .Cabs are easily available along with city bus service . I guess it has second cheapest duty free liquor shop. There place is also home for pigeons - you can clearly see pigeons near to your seating areas .😀

OMG!!!! After visiting this airport, I have questioned myself of booking my flights from IGIA. This airport is a lot more hassle free. No issues with the parking and crowd. Just parked the car near the gate for as long as we want.

It's beautiful, well maintained but a small international airport situated on a fine location away from city rush. The another good thing is that it is named after one of the greatest revolutionaries of India "Sardar Bhagat Singh" which makes it more special.
