The palace belongs to the royal families of malabar (parappanangady area) who fled atrocities of Tipu. They were given protection by Travancore King Dharmaraja.

Tourist Resorts (Kerala) Ltd or (TRKL) is a Government of Kerala undertaking[1] under Kerala Tourism Department, established in August 1989 to promote tourism investment and to develop Tourism infrastructure in the Indian state of Kerala. There was. But now we cant even think to see that. Its all separated and private residences. They didnt spare atleast a room to make museum or an office. Just a historical place which has direct leads to travancore royal family. Visit their temple ( sandana murthy temple) to get some other leads.
