The host Mr. & Mrs. Mohan were commendable in hospitality, the rooms are nice, location of the property is awesome with river/ stream flowing in front of the property. The homely food was sumptuous, with local Kerala cuisine. Felt at home at this calm, peaceful environment. Thought it is some <10kms detour while visiting pamba/sabarimala, it is still worth it for its serenity & hospitality of Muruppel homestay is 👌

Highly recommended. Such a nice place. Very nice people and hospitality. Personally took care of me and sorted my emergency situation. People who wants to go to Sabarimala can stay here. Much best and the surrounding is the icing of the cake.

We stayed along with our parents for 2 days. The stay was very comfortable. My parents liked the location and food very much. Mr & Mrs Mohan are very understanding and will cater to your needs politely. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. I stayed here recently while travelling on Angamoozhy-Gavi-Vandipperiyar forest ride. The home stay is very close to the Angamoozhy check post, 2KM. The homestay is on a river bank and you can enjoy in the river, like a private swimming pool. The rooms are clean and owner family is very friendly and helpful.

Very nice place, amazing view, amazing river in front of the house. The owner is down to earth. Yes you have SBI ATM reachable quickly. Have couple of hotels near by for alternative food options. Love to stay here again.

One of the best options if you are travelling to sabarimala.Awesome hosts,good food and a nice riverside property.If you plan to land in the morning to kochi,head to this homestay which is 3 .5 hrs from the airport,have a delicious lunch in typical banan leaf Kerala style..proceed to pampa just 1hr away.Do your darshanam and head back to this place for your night stay if you don't get any accomodation up there!!

Nice location to halt before darshan of Lord Ayyappa. Enjoyed the pure vegetarian food with perfect Kerala taste and the hospitality provided by Mohanan Chettan and Indira Chechi.

We had a beautiful experience me and my friends were on holy trip for Shabarimalai, the stop here made our journey more joyful.. We visited property in December, we were extremely thrilled to see a river flowing by the property. Property has given an amazing access to the river bank, took a dip in the water and it was just wowww!! Hosts were were freindly and they cooked home cooked food for very reasonable price. Its in midst of a jungle- sure visit place.
