When you reach a bridge, climb on it and head left, up the hill towards Deliana. The Faragi Tavern has very good food at reasonable prices. You can then walk back to Rokka using the road, which take about 90min. Avoid the gorge if there is a risk of serious rain. I expect the river can fill with water pretty quickly.

We've started the gorge at Deliana near the "Metamorphose" church and we walked to Rokka. Some parts of the gorge are very rocky, you have to do a bit of climbing (with your hands and feet). So not an easy hiking trail. The way up to Rokka is hard to find. There is a smal white sign on your left, easy to miss when you are walking down the gorge. It's a steep trail up to Rokka. From my point of view, it is essential to only walk with good shoes, a head for heights is an advantage, a stick is helpful. I wouldn't call the path a walk. On the way back we drove through Deliana and saw a sign of another gorge on the right-hand side in the direction of Kissamos - maybe this is the "walk gorge" ...? Schaut man von dort oben "über die Reling" ist der Serpentinenpfad gut zu sehen, der hinunter in die Schlucht führt. Unten angekommen, sind wir links abgebogen. Ab und zu sind blaue Markierungen auf Felsen zu erkennen. Wilder Weg im Flußbett, der dann nach ca 45 Min. ohne Seil nicht weiter zu begehen bzw. zu erklettern ist. Das war einerseits schade, andererseits haben wir auf dem Rückweg wieder mindestens 10 Adler schweben sehen - Natur pur. Zurück in Rokka - das Kafenion war leider zu - haben wir 2 Wanderer getroffen, die die Schlucht in die andere Richtung, also hochwärts in Richtung Deliana erwandern wollten. Für die beiden war nach 60 Min ohne Seil auch kein Weiterkommen mehr möglich und sind ebenfalls umgekehrt. Aus meiner Sicht unbedingt nur mit gutem Schuhwerk zu begehen, Schwindelfreiheit von Vorteil, Stock ist hilfreich. Als Spaziergang würde ich den Weg nicht bezeichnen. Auf dem Rückweg haben wir mit dem Auto Deliana durchfahren und dort in Richtung Kissamos auf der rechten Seite einen Hinweis auf eine weitere Schlucht gesehen - vielleicht ist das die "Spaziergangschlucht" ...?

Eine tolle Schlucht, sehr wild und relativ wenig begangen. Festes Schuhwerk sollte man schon tragen, ansonsten gehts von den "Wegen" her.

Nice breezy hike between the mountains with a lots of goats, birds and nature :) would love to go home up on it again :) hike is not very hard, mostly flat surface to go on.
