Excellent
boutique
hotel
in
the
historical
centre.
The
room
and
bathroom
were
very
comfortable
and
perfectly
clean.
Nice
extra
touches
like
free
bottles
of
water
every
day
and
coffee
machine
in
the
room.
As
has
been
pointed
out,
the
legendary
breakfasts
from
Socrates
are
no
longer
part
of
the
hotel
service,
but
the
Cretan-style
breakfast
at
a
nearby
cafe
is
tasty
and
filling.
A
point
about
noise:
Almost
everywhere
in
Chania
Old
Town
is
noisy
at
night,
but
for
a
hotel
the
sound
insulation
at
Hanim
is
good.
If
you
want
a
truly
quiet
location
it's
best
to
search
outside
the
city
centre....
A
real
plus
point
is
how
friendly
and
helpful
the
owner
Idomeneas
is.
He
frequently
checked
that
we
were
happy
at
the
hotel,
gave
us
very
useful
tips
for
restaurants
and
beaches
and
was
more
than
happy
to
answer
any
questions
we
had
about
Chania
and
Crete
in
general.
This
warm
welcome
makes
a
huge
difference.
Unlike
some
other
reviewers,
we
have
no
experience
of
the
hotel
prior
to
the
renovation,
but
our
stay
was
extremely
positive
and
we
would
recommend
Hanim
to
anyone.
