If
you
have
exhausted
most
places
to
visit
around
Bangalore
and
are
looking
for
a
place
to
just
sit
by,
or
climb
a
hillock,
chat
with
family
and
look
at
a
pleasant
scene,
then
this
is
a
worthwhile
place
to
visit.
This
is
a
lake,
with
a
walking
path
on
one
side
and
hills
on
the
other.
You
can
also
climb
some
of
the
hills
where
a
walking
path
has
been
carved
into.
On
one
end
of
the
track
is
a
washing
area,
where
you
can
see
people
washing
their
vehicles,
clothes
and
buffaloes.
The
place
is
about
2
hours
drive
from
Bangalore.
Road
along
the
way
is
mostly
good,
except
the
last
1km
where
you
have
to
go
into
narrow
roads.
Parking
for
10
or
so
cars
is
available
nearby
along
the
side
of
the
lake.
There
are
no
options
for
food
or
water
nearby
and
the
public
toilets
are
best
avoided.
Masks
are
more
or
less
absent,
even
in
the
times
of
the
pandemic.
Boating
is
not
open
now,
and
if
you
want
you
can
sit
near
the
walking
track
with
your
family.
The
hillocks
are
not
much
of
a
climb
but
the
view
from
the
hillock
is
soothing.
The
place
is
worth
a
visit
if
you
want
to
be
away
from
the
crowd,
but
consequently
there's
not
much
to
see
or
do.
