    Built in 16th Century. Large temple which was inside the historic Channapatna Fort ( the Fort has disappeared now) . Stone buttresses have been built to support the old structure . Quite a popular temple in the region . Renovation was done in recent years .

    Traditional vaishnava temple tucked in interiors of channapatna. Open 7.30 to 11.00 most days and longer weekends. You can have close darshan of Varadhar. Temple has tradition of taking Perumal upto Gopuram during Brahmotsavam which is unique.

    Very Old ...Rajas... Built Temple before Mysore State formed may be, Sree Varadharaja swamy Blesses devotees to their Wishes Conditionless n for good purposes. Only few r Lucky to visit here.

    Beautiful temple had a great darshan.but the priest was not there.i heard he comes at specific timings of the day,approach road is very narrow but parking facilities are there.Great temple .
