I've lived here over twenty years but rarely venture round the woods for the last 19 (some paths aren't crutch-friendly)πŸ§‘β€πŸ¦― very scenic woods, clearly very popular too. Just a shame all dog walkers don't keep their dogs leashed though, as I have animal-loving friends who are terrified when medium-to-large unaccompanied dogs approaching them.

Nice short woodland walk; lovely for a peaceful walk. Generally not very busy, even during the weekend! I am lucky enough to be local to Stonehaven and can access the woodland by foot. They have very recently implemented charges for parking. Would definitely recommend this walk! Easy for families too.

A short and nice little woodland walk not more than a mile or 2. I’m surprised you need to pay for parking πŸ…ΏοΈ although there isn’t much to do than walk and leave. You could even cycle and walk your pets. Can reach out to a small river stream too.

Lovely forest, little river runs through. Parking was free. Small walk round. Lots of dogs off leads although we did meet one who wasn't so friendly. Toddler friendly....we even found some raspberries to snack on the way round.

These small woods with ample carparking are an ideal way to get away from the crowds on the beach as when we have visited the area was quiet., Lots of trails and paths to explore with the Shell House and Lady Kennedy's bath are places to find in the trees.

Good parking and absolutely beautiful walk. It will take 1-1.5h to make the whole loop.

Interesting little walk through the woods with several points of interest like Lady Kennedy's bath, walled gardens, shell house and Gallows Hill.

Great place to walk dogs, or to paddle in the stream! The car park is free but small and can be muddy

Nice woods, good walks, shame about the parking charges.
