Caravela Cafe in Goa is a hidden gem nestled along the serene coastline, offering a delightful escape from the bustling crowds. As I stepped into the quaint establishment, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee embraced me, setting the tone for a memorable experience. The ambiance at Caravela Cafe is a perfect blend of rustic charm and coastal tranquility. With its open-air seating, wooden furniture, and vibrant decor inspired by local art, the cafe exudes a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The sound of waves in the background adds to the overall sense of serenity, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful retreat. One of the standout features of Caravela Cafe is its breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea. The strategic location allows patrons to enjoy their meals or sip on their favorite beverages while gazing at the azure waters and feeling the gentle sea breeze. This picturesque setting truly elevates the dining experience and makes every visit a feast for the senses. Now, let's talk about the menu. Caravela Cafe takes pride in its diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or a food enthusiast, there's something for everyone. The coffee selection is extensive, featuring a range of expertly crafted brews, from classic espressos to specialty lattes. The beans are sourced locally, ensuring a rich and authentic flavor profile. The culinary offerings at Caravela Cafe showcase a fusion of global and local influences. The menu includes a delectable array of breakfast options, light bites, and hearty meals. The avocado toast, adorned with perfectly poached eggs and a drizzle of olive oil, is a personal favorite. For those craving a taste of Goa, the seafood dishes are a highlight, with fresh catches prepared with a blend of spices that capture the region's culinary essence. The cafe also accommodates dietary preferences with a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The kitchen's commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients is evident in every bite, making each dish a delightful gastronomic journey. The staff at Caravela Cafe deserves special mention for their warm hospitality and attentiveness. The service is prompt, and the staff members are well-versed in the menu, providing helpful recommendations based on individual preferences. Their genuine passion for creating a positive dining experience is palpable, adding a personal touch to the overall ambiance. In addition to its culinary offerings, Caravela Cafe hosts live music events and art exhibitions, contributing to the vibrant cultural scene in Goa. These events further enhance the cafe's appeal, attracting both locals and tourists alike. The cultural infusion adds an extra layer of charm to the already captivating space, making it a dynamic destination that transcends the typical cafe experience. While Caravela Cafe undoubtedly excels in many aspects, it's worth noting that popularity can lead to crowded periods, especially during peak tourist seasons. Securing a table with a prime view might require some patience, but the overall experience is well worth the wait. In conclusion, Caravela Cafe in Goa stands out as a hidden oasis where exceptional coffee, delectable cuisine, and a mesmerizing ambiance converge. Whether you're a solo traveler seeking solitude, a couple looking for a romantic setting, or a group of friends wanting to enjoy good food and company, Caravela Cafe offers a haven that captures the essence of Goa's coastal charm. It's not just a cafe; it's a destination that invites you to savor the flavors of Goa while basking in the beauty of the Arabian Sea—a truly unforgettable experience for all senses.

Best place to try some freshly brewed coffees and cold coffees, pancakes, desserts, pastas etc. Felt like an offbeat cafe which is on the Candolim main road. One should definitely try their rich cold coffee. It was very refreshing and the owner of the place was very courteous. Orders were served quick.

Amazing place. Simply amazing. The food was so yum and the staff was sooo friendly and welcoming. Everything was on point. Must try pancakes with Nutella and fresh fruits, i was lucky enough they had fresh strawberries on menu that day. It's always going to be memorable for me, and thanks to the girl who without a second question added some more milk to my coffee when it felt too strong for me. Amazing people, amazing place. Must visit.

What a great find! I’ve had breakfast twice here in 4 days — the first time I had the pleasure of chatting with the friendly and hands on owner Carlos at my table. The all day breakfast platters are phenomenal value. I had the vegetarian platter both days. Cornflakes, fresh poee, sautéed mushrooms and braised tomato, fresh pancakes, syrup, fruit bowl, fresh juice and a hot coffee. All for ₹450. Brisk service. Loved it and highly recommended!

Thanks Max and Carlos for the amazing service and ambience. A lovely place to visit when in Calangute. The food was great. The carrot cake was the best I've ever had. It's a must have. The flavours were spot on and it was decadent and hit the right the spot. The cold coffee lived up to the hype and sandwiches were also excellent. Overall this is a great place for a nice meal. Do visit!

The best Ros Omelette i have had in ages. A cosy cafe on candolim main road. Its easy to miss if one is driving fast. The food here is outstanding. Few tables and a lot of people so go early and be prepared to have a delicious meal. Staff is efficient and warm. The owner has done a splendid job of making this place one of the best in North Goa. Park on the main road . And don't forget to try the chocolate cheese cake.

The bombay sandwich was good. Coconut coffee was delicious. Croquettes were average. Service was fast. The owner himself was helping out. Serradura was not available. Didn't try other desserts. So overall not bad but Nothing exceptional.

Hands down, best breakfast/brunch place in Goa esp for nonvegetarians. The proprietor Mr. Carlos Noronha is an absolute gentleman and a scholar, with a deep and abiding love for and knowledge of Goan history. Listen to him and the waitstaff for their recommendations about food. You won't regret it. We went twice and ordered in a third time, and had a bunch of insane food. The scrambled eggs with chorizo and the beef croquettes are out of the world as is their rich cold coffee. The All Day Caravela breakfast and the All Day Goan Breakfast platters are the best start to any day. The pulled pork with poi special they had one day was also fantastic. We also tried their gorgeous carrot cake.

I’ve always had a lovely experience at Caravela. The Panjim outlet was my go-to place for Cappuccino and Rissois- it’s super-delicious!!!! I dropped by the Candolim outlet for the first time. It’s very spacious, has a comfortable seating and portrays a very cozy vibe - a great place to relax and pick yourself a cuppa coffee! Along with the Rissois and Sandwiches always being my favourite, this time I thought of trying out their All-day breakfast, egg and Pizzas. They have an elaborate list of Breakfast items - eggs, combos, pancakes and more. I loved the scrambled egg from the Combo and not to forget the Egg Benedict - Oh my! What a dish to savour!! Mentioning again, they serve one of the best coffees in Goa - Legit, I mean it! Tried the Pizza for the first time (Smoked Chicken Pizza) and I loved it, wholeheartedly! The crust is just perfect and the toppings with the smoked chicken pieces is still hard to forget - absolutely delicious!! If you haven’t been to Caravela yet, please because you’re surely missing on so much of Good food and coffee!!!!

Visited this quaint cafe for a breakfast and wasn't disappointed in the least. We had ordered the full American breakfast and the full caravela special breakfast, these were quite filling for two people. Additionally we tried their bacon and cheeses rissois which was a bliss! The staff was very friendly, would definitely recommend this place for a great filling brunch! Looking forward to our next visit here, cheers!

The owner and the staff both are hospitable people. The cooworking space upstairs is great to get your work done quickly and come back to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee. Lovely place!

I definitely must say! It is hands down the BEST place to have breakfast in Goa near Calangute. The Cold Coffee is great, just like the way it should be. I've also had Cheese and Chilly Omlette - It is so delicious and is served with a toast and Butter which makes it a must, MUST try. When I talk about the Ham and Cheese Croissant - The yummiest of all. The stuffing / filling was appropriately added. Not too less, not too more. Just like the way it's tasted best at😍. Last but definitely not the least - The Berry Cheesecake. Aah! Craved for this kinda Cheesecake during my whole trip in Goa and finally ended up having it here. Totally loved it and was commendable. Not to forget - The owner of this place holds our heart ❤️. The Staff is friendly and professional. Ancient ambience gives a unique look to this place which makes it a worth visiting one. Thanks Team! Thoroughly loved and enjoyed being here! 💜💝

Title: Outstanding Breakfast Experience at Caravela Cafe and Bistro Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) My recent visit to Caravela Cafe and Bistro was an absolute delight. I couldn't resist trying their English breakfast with a side of croissant and a Vietnamese coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised by the unique and delicious offerings. The English breakfast at Caravela Cafe and Bistro stands out from the typical options you find in many low-calorie restaurants in Goa. The quality of the meat and sausages was exceptional, and the baked beans were clearly not from a can. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection, adding a delightful twist to the meal. I can't praise enough how fantastic the croissant and the iced Vietnamese coffee were – simply perfect! While the decor may not be outstanding, Caravela Cafe and Bistro has made an admirable effort to create a Latin American or Portuguese vibe. However, it's important to note that you should visit this place primarily for the food; the flavors and quality of their dishes are the real stars here. One aspect that truly impressed me was the well-trained and efficient staff. They were quick in taking orders and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Their professionalism added to the overall positive impression I had of this establishment. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Caravela Cafe and Bistro to anyone seeking a remarkable breakfast experience in Goa. Whether you're in the mood for a unique English breakfast or crave some delectable croissants and Vietnamese coffee, this place has it all. Don't miss out on this culinary gem during your visit to Goa. It's a food lover's paradise!

It’s a small cozy cafe on the main road of Candolim. Food is really good they have lots of options in coffee as per your choice from light to the strong. Sandwiches burgers and desserts everything’s good. Serve it with Freud and potato wedges. One star has gone to the service as I see staff sitting next on the tables and giggling around watching phones.

Cute little place on the streets of Candolim. They gave excellent breakfast . We tried the English breakfast, Caesar salad and few other items on their menu. They were all great :) Apparently we were told they always serve tea along with the food and don't have an option to serve it later. However the owner later pitched in and was kind enough to cater to our preference and we got our tea at the end. Suggest you to give options to your customers on their preferences . Otherwise all good, we left the place as a happy customer :)

Delectable pancakes, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience! The pancakes at this café were absolutely delicious, and they exceeded all my expectations. The batter was perfectly fluffy and had a hint of sweetness that was just right. What truly stood out for me was the overall ambiance of the café. It had a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel instantly comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided exceptional service throughout my visit. The café had a charming aesthetic with tasteful décor, creating a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. I also want to commend the café for its attention to detail. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hygiene protocols were well-maintained, which made me feel safe and comfortable while dining.

Be it you have a bad day, or good day, if it’s only a cup of coffee which rejuvenate your life then this is best place for having coffee which soothingly activate you. (Provided you don’t do there everyday otherwise it might just make your pockets empty 🫣) About parking there no such proper place but you might get luckily. Ambience is good and kind of similar to one at Panaji. Just looks as good as any other cafe should look. I think they have many franchises, I read their name many a time but this is the original outlet I guess. Cappuccino is actually very very tasty, I could still remember that rejuvenating taste of the coffee. I don’t think there is much of a difference in regular and premium. Not even in rate. Around 155 something. It was just the most perfect taste. We had lot of time waiting till the order came though. Quantity wise all dishes are huge. All sandwiches are great, served with French fries, I liked Pesto Sandwich, specially it’s bread was applied with sauce which was very yummy. They had shortage of Chicken so had to go with veg but still it was fabulous. Club chicken Sandwich is also bulky, 3 layered white Bread. Leo Mustard Chicken was similar to Pesto and just all Sandwiches are nice. Staff are nice. Only thing there is no proper network coverage inside. They do have Wi-Fi but when asked for password they told us it’s out of service since last 2 weeks. This was only matter of concern being a cafe. But for food it’s just perfect, with more than enough quantity and moderate price.

Yes another disappointment in Goa after The Burger Factory. From a highly rated place I had really high expectations but Caravela disappointed me on food. The service was good, staff is polite and ready to customise. The place itself is nice. The food however failed to deliver. We ordered the breakfast platter and it was served cold first. Had to be sent back for heating. The main disappointment was on the portion size. When you are paying a premium price, you expect exceptional food and substantial in quantity. The portion was small and showed cut corners visually. Need to relook at that. Rest was an ok experience. Well located and well served.

It's one of the best cafes we visited in Goa. It's cosy and perfect place to have coffee and breakfast. The owner of this coffee shop is very friendly and makes everyone feel comfortable in the coffee shop. It is also the go-to shop for vegans who can enjoy their coffee with non dairy alternatives. Once you enter the shop, you will get to interesting posters and reason why one should have coffee. They don't allow laptops as their sole objective is to encourage conversation over coffee. We had coffee and egg toast and a croissant. Everything was just perfect. A must visit.

This was an amazing cute little place to visit. I had hot chocolate, the marshmallows in my hot chocolate was a treat, i also had pasta, pizza and sandwiches again which were amazing. This cute little cafe spreads positive vibes and takes me back to small coffee houses in Italy. The host welcomed us with open arms. The staff there was very friendly- special shoutout to Shubham who was always smiling. When in Goa, do visit this amazing place. This place has amazing breakfast and lunch selections. Thanku for the amazing first meal of our first time in Goa.

One of the best breakfast we tried. You must try their coffee, cheese cake and crossaint. They were the best. Best part is the friendliness of the staff and owner. When we visited the owner himself came out and talked to each and everyone , enquired about the taste and quality of food. For us , he even suggested some good lunch places and historic places to visit.

Brilliant! A real well run Cafe by a father and son that offers just the right kind of food at decent rates. This is primarily a cafe with quite a lot of options for all kind of breakfast eaters. Considering the rating and the time of the season it was jam packed and we had to wait for good 15-20 mins to get a table. But it was def. Worth the wait. Going there again for sure.
