Me and my kids have been going to Kent life for years, its a wonderful place to be! So much history to see as well as the cute farm animals. The only thing I find, is the little activities on the green I feel should be free, they had little boats to paddle around and I feel like considering how expensive it is for a ticket to get in those things should be free of charge but other than that everything is good.

We recently visited Kent Life, Kent, UK, with our family and had a great time. The kids loved the play area, the soft play, the tractor tour and, of course, the pizza. To see and touch the animals and explore different houses was the cherry on top of the cake. The play area is large and well-maintained, with plenty of equipment for children of all ages. The soft play is also great, and our kids loved running around and playing hide-and-seek. The tractor tour was a lot of fun, and our kids learned a lot about the different animals on the farm. And the pizza at the cafe was delicious! We also enjoyed exploring the different houses on the farm. The Victorian kitchen was our favorite, and our kids loved seeing all the old-fashioned appliances. We had a great day at Kent Life and would definitely recommend it to other families.

We all love Kent life. I've been there for 7 years running. A wonderful event, the kids love it. Just little things that let it down. Prices and quality. A hot dog is £6.50. Pigs in blanket one, cranberry or caramelized onions, and stuffing. Was a nice sausage, but the sauce was cold, the bun was cold, the stuffing was hard. Now the drinks, wow. More expensive than bloomin Costa in some cases! Tickets gor a family of 5 were around £85. The activities were great, lots for the kids to do. Parks, soft play, tractor rides and a lovely petting zoo.

Cheap price on entry, I would suggest buying a few bags of feed on waking in so you haven’t got to walk all the way back down. Tractor ride was great fun for the kids. The play park had enough for the kids to do but feel it needs abit or TLC to restore it back to its former state

Kent Life is an incredible and iconic wedding venue that we found serendipitously. We were so thrilled to have our wedding here. The history, the animals the amazing staff were all a joy to work with. Vincent’s Catering we’re incredible to work with. Emma is worth a very special mention, we are still in awe of the level of detail and consistency that she deals with every day and how hard she worked to make sure we had a fantastic wedding. Her knowledge of both the venue and the details of the catering were outstanding and despite all the details she worked so hard to make sure everything was right . Adam and Tracy were so flexible and although they hadn’t catered for a Persian wedding before they created an incredible menu and the most critical of guests were absolutely impressed and still talking about it! Fantastic service

Lovely place will be back again with my nieces and nephews. Lots to see, not many animals but enough for a nice day out, lots of chicken and hens, goats, birds, alpaca, sheep, pigs, lots of rabbits and guineapigs. Lovely outdoors to walk and get your steps in. At the top of the hill was entertainment, live music and ice cream- seems like this is season dependent and can change each week, good to look online to see what events they have on. I loved seeing the old cottages, chapel and grocery store - can be missed if you don’t venture out of the animal section. Quite a few activities for children of all ages, painting a pot, face painting, sand castle building. Animal activities with owls, feeding alpaca etc. lots of benches for picnics. There is a tea room and pizza place on site. Lots of hand washing stations which is necessary after petting or feeding the animals. Do ask and pay for animal feed on entry if you want to feed the animals. There aren’t many animals you can feed but still nice to do. The lady at the counter didn’t offer it to us until I asked, and a few other people we heard on the route around saying they weren’t offered any either. Lots of free parking.

A great way to spend a few hours with small children. The park/museum is spread over a large area and is split into various sections detailing various aspects of life in Kent "back in the day". There are plenty of activities for the youngsters, including a petting area, a place to feed some of the farm animals, a large playground and tractor rides. The 4 year old that I was with thoroughly enjoyed herself. I found the old buildings to be particularly interesting and would liked to have seen some staff, maybe in period costume, answering questions about them. I feel that as it is called "Kent Life" it should place a bit more emphasis on it instead of relying solely on farm animals. All in all though, a pleasant few hours spent with my granddaughter.

Kent Life is a very kids-oriented open air farm life museum with many animals to see and pet, a few older farm houses and church to walk through, a kids play area, and activities like talks throughout the day. I think we were the only couple without kids, but still enjoyed our 1-2 hour visit seeing animals and wandering. There are a few food options like an outdoor pizza hut and Dottys Cafe (sandwiches, cakes, a few specials) - all of which had a few vegetarian options. Parking was free and only a few minute walk to the entrance. A few toilets throughout - average on cleanliness and some didn’t lock (not great when kids running around), but worked

Great place for a family day out! Besides the animals which seem happy in natural surroundings, there is a big playground, a soft play area, a peace garden and a couple of farmers' mansions, displaying their equipment and every day life. Moreover, there is a cafe and a pizza restaurant for a quick snack and a drink or a proper meal. Children can groom a pony and watch an owl show. They can also make crafts and pottery, with a small additional fee. We bought a day ticket, but will definitely buy the membership. Recommended!

On way home from an appt, the sun was peeking through so on the spur of the moment decided to pop in Kent Life with grandaughter. So glad we did. Had a lovely couple of hours there. Was nice that there is an indoor area to eat the sandwiches we bought on the way and were not obliged to have to buy from the on site catering. The activities for children are plentiful and living museum artefacts for adults as well as restaurants. Lots of play areas, wildlife walks, Owl enclosures, farm animal interaction and historical displays for long lost ways of village life. They have a beautiful old chapel that is available for weddings. I went on a monday afternoon so was not at all busy yet they still put on the attractions for everyone. Staff happy to answer questions and helped make the experience one that we were glad to have done.

This is a lovely park with so much potential. The animals seem happy and look well looked after. We saw the sheep, rabbits, chickens and goats just to mention a few. Unfortunately some of the buildings and other outdoor attractions need some TLC. It's also good to note that careers go free with someone with special needs.

Nice little place but is more suited to families with young children. We had fun feeding the alpacas, sheep, goats and pigs. Bags of feed are £1 per pack and can be purchased on admission. Plenty to keep young ones occupied from the birds of prey to the indoor and outdoor play areas.

Lovely little farm for young children, shows run throughout the day, and a tractor ride around the farm runs regularly, both included in the price. Soft play with cafe and outdoor play area. Can feed and pet some of the animals too. Lovely historical houses and buildings with full set ups inside. We often visit. Reasonably priced.

Kent Life is a lovely place for the kids/family to have a meaningful day out in the nature and meet/learn about animals and the people lives in the past. Of course this experience would be not full enough without the large outdoor playground or the indoor soft play area which ones you don't have to miss too. The place has a gift shop (in the Oats House) at the entrance where you can buy sandwiches as well (I cannot recommend these sandwiches because they are too dry and empty for its too high price tag, which is interesting because the gift shop itself isn't really expensive) and you can buy some food/snacks and drinks in the "Playbarn" building (here is based the soft play area) as well. Behind the Sanding Farmhouse they have a separated building for the toilets and before the farm they have a big enough car park as well.

Had a good time here with my family. Plenty to do and good for all ages. I liked the buildings of the different time periods and my children especially liked the soft play and park.

We had a lovely day out here, I went with two babies under two, I'm not a member and paid an adult price to get in and found it excellent value for money. Eldest baby saw, fed and stroked plenty of animals. Double pushchair was easy to push around, just one educational building I didn't get to enter due to door being too narrow. Accessible family toilet and changing area as expected for a farm, didn't have to queue both times I used it. Also visited the tea room which I found quite expensive but was nice food and good coffee. There was a sign asking to leave buggies outside but entered with a push chair as I'm unable to carry both babies and this wasn't a problem. Bought optional animal feed for £1 and there was loads to use. Play area was really good but my eldest baby only used the messy play area. Didn't do the tractor ride and never asked if it was possible to put the pushchair on the trailer but saw that there was a buggy park to use, also didn't do pottery painting or teddy bear factory but had a really lovely day. Animals we saw included bunnies, guinea pigs, chicks, chickens, turkeys, peacocks, pigs, goats, sheep, pony, horse, alpacas, ducks, geese, donkeys and owls. Baby stroked bunny and guinea pig and brushed a pony. Fed the sheep and ducks. Excellent day out and would return.

What a great place for all ages. So easy for families. It has nature, history, animals, animals you can feed, exotic animals, shows, food stalls, pizza! Maybe you'll even see the odd dinosaur 🦖. Looking forward to going back!

Nice place to spend a few hours with the kids. The kids outdoor play area is quite nice with two climbing frames and they have an indoor soft play area in the barn. You may encounter a short line to enter the barn though. They have a few farm animals all in well kept enclosures as well as an owl sanctuary. There are also kids activities such as ceramic painting to keep the time passing and the kids entertained.

We adore Kent Life! We've been several times since getting our membership and will definitely get a lot more use out of it over summer! Amazing every time we've been, whatever the weather there are things to do and it's been different each time we've visited!

Went here to meet Santa with a 2 year old and baby. Entrance tickets were £50 for 3 adults and the 2 children for a timed slot at 345pm. Area was muddy due to rain, but getting around was still easy. Surroundings were simple and didn't feel very festive. We were led to see Santa in a queue through simple decorations to a closed door where an elf was outside the door asking for the children's names yet when we got to Santa he didn't know their names !? Then Santa gave a coin to go to another area where a present could be chosen so the 2 year old kept saying Santa gave her a coin (instead of a present) so the overall feeling of the experience was commercial over focused on the children. Other areas (tea room, bear making, etc.) were closed despite the venue still being open for another hour and even worse, when walking past a closed tea room, the smell of drugs was disgusting! So overall, it's not something I would recommend anyone going to for a memorable Santa experience.

It was a cold damp miserable day. Rain threatening to spit at us. So why we chose an outdoor activity for the children o do not know. The kids loved it. They pet some animals, fed others and just watched the rest. They spent a good half hour in the play area outside. As the train is not working we had a tractor ride for a short while, quite bumpy, again the children loved it. It was a fun day. Ob the negative side all the farm barns were closed or unmanned. I would have loved to hear stories of old and how a farm was worked before..that was a real shame.

I really like Kent Life Museum with it's farm animals and reconstructions of buildings of the past so well done and makes you feel like you're visiting the past. Also lovely tea shop.

Took my grandsons to see Santa on Saturday and we all have a great day despite the weather. So much to do! The boys loved seeing Santa and seeing all the magical lights. The elves were jolly despite the cold. They enjoyed all the activities and we spent a good deal of the day at KL. Great value for money.

We love this place, if you buy a season ticket you can take a child up to 4 years old for free, it's so worth it for little ones. Not too much walking, some petting and stroking areas and you can also feed the animals. Sadly you can't have the animals on your lap anymore like you could pre lockdown but it is still a great attraction to take the kids

It has been years since I'd been to a farm and Kent Life did not disappoint. Entry was £10 each for two adults (not sure for kiddies but they do have family passes) and there's the option to buy snacks to feed the animals. And there's no limit on the time you are allowed to stay for so overall it's great value for money. Plenty to do for families with cafés and eateries on site, tractor rides around the farm, arts and crafts areas, bouncy castle and an entertainment tent. It's also a great educational experience with touches of historic elements and details about the animals. All round fantastic day out for families. Would highly recommend.
