    Great hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant. Best dishes are the local favorites and the chef specials. American run for years and delivered in thunderstorm/hurricane remanants. I don't complain about stupid stuff like too much rice, chopsticks or veggies. Their portions are generous. I moved to bee's ferry and they still deliver to my new home (in any weather condition).

    Friendly advice... Be cautious of your card. I ordered a meal for $13.26 last week. When I singed the receipt, I specifically crossed out the tip section. Not writing down 0.00, but CROSSED OUT. Today my card showed up as $23.26, posted. Exact $10.00 extra. It wasnโ€™t accidental. I had been their customer since 2008, and liked their meal. Quality had gone down over the years and price went up, but I stick it with them. And this is how I was repaid? I scanned my receipt copy and emailed to the credit card company.

    We ordered delivery around 8pm. It was a simple order, really. Three quarts of rice, General Tso's, and egg rolls. We were told the delivery would arrive in about 30-45 minutes. We called once about 45 minutes after the order was placed and said the driver was on her way. Nothing. Called again 20 minutes later and had the same response. Called another 20 minutes later and still the same response. about 11:30pm, our food arrived cold and not completely correct. The rice tasted like it was cooked with a bullion cube to add flavor and was under cooked. The general tso's chicken was painfully bland with barely any sauce. About 6 hours later, the three of us who ate egg rolls ended up getting sick. It was shocking how poor this experience was. Highly recommend going anywhere but here.

    I can't begin to explain how poor my experience was. I ordered delivery to my office and the person who took my order was extremely harsh and forceful with me on the phone. Her rude demeanor made me want to just not order but I continued anyways(mistake). She couldn't understand the address and the delivery guy called twice because He didn't know where we were. He was also very rude to me on the phone. We got our order and only 1 was correct. Not even in the same ball park of what we ordered. We tried to call and rectify the situation but she argued endlessly with us and made it seem like it was our fault they got the order wrong. She blamed it on us and set the phone down while she talked to someone else and had us sitting on hold forever. We eventually hung up and now have wasted food and a waste of money. Save yourself the time and money and order somewhere else!

    Ordered through grub hub, everything was okay as we had a larger order and it came in 30 ish minutes. However the food is DISGUSTING. We ordered the chicken on a stick and it was charred black. The sesame chicken and rice tasted and smelled like ACTUAL DUST. How old does your food have to be to TASTE like dust?! We called about a few missing items and the man couldโ€™ve have been more rude. After reading several reviews about people getting sick, it makes a lot of sense. DO NOT GO HERE.

    I ordered my food at 5:03pm today and at 6:16 I called your restaurant and was told he JUST received the order and I would have to wait another 40 minutes for delivery. I called back and told him I have waited over an hour and decided I do not want the order. He yelled and hung up on me. When I pay with a credit card you seem to deliver my order on time, when I pay with cash the order โ€œgets lost.โ€ You have lost 2 customers. Very rude and completely ridiculous.

    I'm not a reviewer. I've done probably 5 in my entire life. According to the employee who I spoke with on the phone, they just reopened Monday, so I get to be the first to review the new management. Let me also preface this: I have 15 years of experience in Food service. I know what rotten food smells like and would not say this if it weren't true. Sad to say, my food was rotten. I work all day, so when I order delivery, I like to order at least two meals worth of food. My pork lo mein smelled like it was not kept at a safe temperature before cooking. The beef and broccoli smelled like fish. They both tasted sour. The wonton soup wasn't rotten, but was not flavorful at all. I called them back to tell them what was going on. After being told I would receive a call back, they then asked me if I could bring the food in to them at my expense so they could inspect it to see if it really is rotten. I am unable to leave my store during open hours. They proceeded to ask me what time I get off and that I can feel free to bring it in after I get off work so they can inspect the food. I wasn't going to do a review, but then that conversation happened. I'll bite the bullet and lose $30. Case and point: Go spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

    Unfortunately, we ordered this through postmates, so using the โ€œpartyโ€ mode, only allowed us 4 min to order for free delivery. In using this, we didnโ€™t have time to look at reviews before placing and paying for order. This place was TERRIBLE!!!! I think they fry their rice in sunflower oil, or coal. I canโ€™t distinguish. The chicken was bland and everything was barely warm. Terrible, terrible terrible!!!!!

    I just had my last order from Hopsing's. I ordered a small Curry Chicken with Onions. They gave me a large size and added the extra charge to my bill. It appeared to be the same size as a small, but in a large container which was filled up with a lot of RAW baby carrots. The onions were still attached to the stem. I could barely taste the curry, and this was the first time I've ever had to add salt to Asian food. I also ordered a small Spare Ribs. They gave me boneless ribs instead. Boneless ribs taste quite different from ribs with the bone in. That's why I never order boneless. The egg rolls and the rice were ok, but the entire order was covered in grease. I'm talking about thick, dripping grease all over the outside of the containers. And finally, the delivery person did not stop talking on his cell phone when I opened my door. He just handed me the receipt and signaled with his hand for me to sign, but he did not offer me a pen. I recommend China Dragon.

    Poor quality ingredients, bored and impatient service, and suspicious and inconsistent bill totals. Food is pre-prepared and stale, even having arrived ten minutes after ordering. Threw half of it away. TLDR: Avoid at all costs. Edit: In the interest of fairness, I am leaving this review on 6/11/20, and many restaurants are doing takeout only. Hopsings may just be having a very, very bad day. Or the chef may have fled the country. Hopefully this is a temporary state of affairs. I will not be returning to find out.

    The delivery driver I recognized and she is an absolute joy to deal with. My issue is with ordering online only for the second time. First time, no issues. Second time was a nightmare. Not only did the food arrive almost 2 hours later, I had to pay a second time over the phone for my order because of some issue at the store. Later on I check my bank account and of course I have been double charged... Bottom line. If your company can't handle outsourcing online ordering just don't do it. I rather you not even offer a service you clearly are not equipped for. I consider myself to be pretty tolerent of bad service and I tip really well 99% of the time... But this was one of the worst experiences I had ever had.... Anywhere.
