We have come here many times but today was not a pleasant experience. Our server wasn't very kind or welcoming. This particular server is usually nice and upbeat, so I'm not sure what was going on today. It was quite embarrassing because I brought a guest here from out of town, for the first time. We noticed the server was checking on all of the other tables, giving refills on drinks, except us. Not once did she check on us and we never got a drink refill. My guest ordered tea with lemon and never got it so we had to ask again. When the server brought the tea out, there was no lemon (yes, this is minor).Considering her attitude, we didn't want ask for the lemon again since we had to ask a second time for the tea. It's not even about the tea or lemon. It's just the way she treated us general, just very rude. She never greeted us, the only thing she said was "What do y'all want?" She tossed our plates on the table without a care. I hope it's better next time and more welcoming because I love the atmosphere of this place. Thankfully Carley, the musician, is always a pleasure to see performing on Saturdays! She's so also very kind.

100/10 that's right they scored 10 times better than a perfect score! Wanna talk about a hidden gem well here it is! From the decor to the people whom work there to the food everything was absolutely amazing! I can't recommend anything in particular because it's all good! Soups, apps, paninis, desserts, sides I did it all and everything was just out of this world good. I can't wait to go back! If they have the mushroom soup and french dip def grab those but again you can't go wrong no matter what you do!

The Pickled Palate has to be one of the greatest hidden gems of Mt. Pleasant. If you are in the mood for paninis, there's no better place to go. The atmosphere is very homey, and I mean that in the nicest way. It's comfortable and relaxing. The wait staff was very quick and attentive. The food was divine. The sandwiches were out of this world. I got the french dip and my wife got the Cuban and we ended up splitting them both! They also make their own pickles! If you want a chill, cafe-like experience come here. The garden is beautiful and inside is lovely. The Pickled Palate will not disappoint.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! The cutest hidden gem, and so delicious for lunch. They also have gluten-free bread 🙌 We sat in the gorgeous back garden and our waiter was lovely. You have to try this place, especially before it closes over the summer! 😭 maybe if enough people visit they’ll stay open … 🤞

This place is the perfect place to have a nice lunch outside. The atmosphere is very laid back and the pimento cheese and bacon sandwich was delicious. The homemade potato salad was delicious too.

This place is just great. The ambience is very eclectic. It's outdoor seating primarily. Kind of tucked into this little corner with lots of garden surrounding you, so you don't notice the road and suburban activity surrounding you. The food was simple but really good. We had she crab soup, the chips & dip appetizer, cuban panini and tuna melt panini. Waiter was slow, but food came out quick. And, even though it's outside, they could do better cleaning the tables (there was bird poop at the one end of ours).

We have eaten here several times now, and I really like the French dip sandwich and BLT. We tried the crab dip today and it was very good. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The bread is always fresh. Try it , you will like it.

This restaurant is absolutely, by far the best lunch spot I’ve found in Mt. Pleasant! Great menu, chill atmosphere with option of sitting outside or in the quant indoor area, and the food was fresh and soooooo tasty. Nice selection of sandwiches and sides. My new FAVORITE!!!!!

What a treasure hidden on the side of what used to be a quiet little street! Made fresh & local sandwiches, paninis, soups, cocktails. The fresh squeezed grapefruit, rosemary & champagne slush was amazingly tasty, second only to the she crab soup!

Great Sammies! The only weird thing was the mustard on the tuna sandwich... My husband hated that and would just ask for it without next time. Other than that it was fantastic. My Italian was perfect. Definitely would go back and try some more!

Its a beautiful and quaint little cafe! Food was absolutely delicious, had the chicken salad with potato salad and it was amazing. We did read on the website that they are closing in July which is super upsetting so definitely stop by while you can!!!
