Our stay was 5 nights. It was clean and comfortable and started off well. Nicola was helpful and friendly at the front desk. First breakfast was great. Well cooked, hot and a welcoming lady to meet you. It went downhill from there. My daughter was in a separate room in the oldest part of the hotel and the walls were thin and the neighbouring occupants were roudy until the early hours. The reception did move her to a better room the next day but the lady who moved her gave no apology. The next few days of breakfast's were tepid and tasted less fresh and I had to ask for someone to take our order as we were clearly there but overlooked for about 15 mins. Door closures would be a good addition as the doors bang shut waking you in the night when people let them slam behind them. Overall it was ok but I wouldn't go back because of the tetchy reaction from the staff. When you go to a hotel for a break you want to get away from your stresses and relax and have decent sleep and feel valued. Unfortunately I didn't feel that.

Beautiful hotel, lovely friendly staff and owner. Wonderful rooms. Food was absolutely amazing. Lovely situated. Great view from our room especially at night of the bridge. We will stay again

Staying in this hotel was really nice. The beds there are super comfy! The atmosphere, in general, was quiet and calming. The staff there are also kind and easy-going from what I experienced personally:)

Was here on a training course with work colleagues. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Lovely hotel

Well situated for trip to Edinburgh. Spotlessly clean. Good food. Excellent staff - particularly in restaurant. Nice to get silver service at dinner. Would definitely recommend.

As a hotel it was fit for purpose, staff were pleasant and helpful and high tea style food on offer was adequate. On the whole a not unpleasant experience.

Room service was very quick, room was clean and ample gor what we needed. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, staff not organised or proactive. I ordered my cooked breakfast along with my husbands and also porridge for me. My porridge came as my husband finished his cereal, his cooked breakfast came and mine came 40mins later, once he'd finished his, egg wasn't cooked properly and rest was warm but not hot.

I was here for my brother in law's funeral wake. The staff were polite, respectful and friendly and the food was lovely.

Excellent Xmas lunch. Service was great.,the young girls that served us were all very helpful. Had a lovely time would certainly go back...

We stayed 3 nights in the Pitbauchlie house hotel, the staff was everything you would expect from the Scots. Friendly, helpful, you really are their first priority would highly recommend the Pitbauchlie house hotel.

There for a birthday party. Poor quality meal. Fish very poor. And don't start me on the starters. Service? Stand at the end of a long table and expect customers to shout their orders at you. Never again.
