The owner and boutique and wait/bar staff are AMAZING full of passion and professionalism. Make a stop here if you on Nevis! Oh and you must order the goat water- trust me- broaden your food palette- it’s like stew only way better. Really :)

This was definitely the highlight of our dining experience in St. Kitts & Nevis. We came here on a Thursday night without a reservation, but the friendly host immediately accommodated us. The server was attentive and efficient, but I did wish they would offer tap water. We shared many appetizers and would recommend the lobster summer roll and the goat water. We ended the meal with a coconut cake that wasn’t overly sweet. The cocktails were spot on! The restaurant itself was beautiful, with all the lights surrounding the garden. Bring a bug spray with you.

Really amazing experience at Bananas. The atmosphere is very homey, and they 100% achieved their mission of total hospitality. To start of the meal, we ordered a selection of appetizers. I recommend ordering both of the salads, as they differ from each other but compliment each other. The goat water was also a very good touch. I would have liked the appetizers to be more complex and match the level of depth that the rest of the meal does (which just means i think everything was amazing). The main comment about the appetizers is the ability of turning something seemingly simple to a depth and complex meal through levels of flavor and texture. Take the lamb shank, which I ordered. It may have been simple as it was served with mash potatoes and broccoli, but the variety of textures and flavors brought this dish to another level. The lobster spaghetti also followed a similar path. The flavors of the sauce and the variety of texture took this dish far. The dessert may have been the best part of the meal. All of the desserts showed out, and you cannot miss the chocolate molten cake. Overall a great experience, 9.25/10.

We had a wonderful dinner at Bananas - when you drive up, it's like pulling up to a friends house - though a friend who lives in a magical treehouse! We were promptly greeted and invited up to the roofdeck for a pre-dinner treat, which was lovely (and I imagine has quite the sunsets!). The menu featuring many local favorites was delicious, fairly priced and like eating at a family member's home with Grandma cooking! Simple, local flavors and friendly, attentive service....wonderful desserts and rum selection too! The restaurant has a cute shop too and beautiful artwork that the owner herself has curated from around the world on display and for sale. The owner was lovely and friendly, and on-site to make sure everyone was happy and having a good time. All in all, a lovely, warm, welcoming, delicious dinner on our honeymoon!

Bananas delivered one of the best meals on the island. The service is very warm, welcoming and 5* professional. The food was delicious with great recommendations from the staff. The atmosphere is laid back with tropical decor accompanied by a fun playlist. Several people were celebrating a special occasion and the team went above and beyond to make them feel special.

It was really great. The ambience is top tier. Upon arrival we were greeted by a gentleman at the gate. He walked us up to the restaurant. We were greeted by a very nice staff member who shook our hands with the biggest smile. The staff were all friendly and smiling. Our server Sherlon, did an amazing job. He was very attentive and explained everything to us superbly. The food prices are also very affordable. Definitely a must visit.

Beautiful resturant with fabulous atmosphere’ you will definitely want them to sing you “Happy Birthday.” The food was great, well rounded menu that really infused Caribbean touches. The owner is a hoot! The staff are fun. Fabulous boutique is also attached with some gorgeous finds.

Just a beautiful experience all around. Nestled among beautiful tropical trees and bushes, the restaurant is vibrant with comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere. The food is great. Had the saltfish and Johnny cakes and the goat entree.

What a great dining experience in a beautiful setting. We visited twice during our holiday, and had fantastic food and service both times. We also enjoyed drinks upstairs where there was a cool breeze. The goat curry was a must-try!

Best place to eat in the federation. The service is also great and unlike other places waiters aren't angry at you that you disturb them entering the restaurant... The restaurant is also beautiful and the garden is breathtaking. I love it! I wish it was open every weekend with live music 😄

The restaurant is a wonderful experience. The drive up at night is a bit tough to find your way, but once you're there, it's a little oasis. The food was great, and the service was very friendly. The restaurant feels like you're eating in the trees of the rainforest in the best way.

The setting for this restaurant was great. We were surrounded by a lush forest and seated outside. We shared a lobster roll appetizer which was excellent. For dinner I had some ribs and my wife had snapper. They were both good but not super memorable. We were staying at a nearby hotel and I would definitely come back here for a change of pace.

Wow! Jillian (the owner) is certainly a talented and passionate individual. It's obvious that she is loved and respected by her wonderful staff. Take a moment and read her story on page one of the menu. My wife and I have been in the hospitality/5 Star hotels /restaurant business our entire careers. I just had the best/most enjoyable meal I can remember at Bananas. The French Onion soup was better than any I've enjoyed. The goat cheese, pumpkin salad with dates, walnuts & toasted seeds was amazing. The Gorgonzola Gnocchi with a Parmesan crust was absolutely delicious and decadent. Finished off with a warm banana bread and vanilla ice cream was perfect! Our server Samla was lovely and attentive. Jillian encouraged me to come into the kitchen and tell the Chef and team my thoughts. I could tell that they appreciated my words of gratitude. I could see the pride they have for what they do. I will add that the kitchen was very clean! Most don't get to see this. This is a "Must Go" restaurant on the island of Nevis.

Very beautiful restaurant! The garden and the ambient lighting made it feel like we were on a movie set! The food was top notch and service couldn't be better. I will definitely be back many times to Bananas. This is one of my favorite places on Nevis!

Worth visiting. We went for lunch which did not disappoint. Get the salt fish and Johnny cakes as a starter. Beautiful place, great drinks and bar.

Really great food, definitely more on the expensive side, compared to local restaurants, since it is a destination catered to tourists. The service was great and the staff were extremely friendly. The view is lovely and on occasion you can get a glimpse of the local wildlife, specifically monkeys and watch them play in the trees. Overall, I highly recommend it for a more lavish dinner!

We enjoyed dinner here so much we went for a second time. Great food, excellent cocktails and good selection of wines. Staff are friendly and attentive. I can recommend the Moroccan Lamb Shank. It was cooked perfectly but make sure you have a big appetite. Nothing else to say. Thoroughly recommended.
