Excellent presentation of informative, historic information. I learned so much. Myself, my husband and 3 teenage children really enjoyed and benefited from this visit. The Museum is small - but full of bright, clear information, pictures and historic relics. The home of Alexander Hamilton was also interesting. Surrounded by some beautiful gardens. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I was in the room where it happened... Beautiful Island & Amazing People... very welcoming country all around. Had a tour of the island giving the first stop to be this amazing location. Very well preserved history for any history lover and if you love Rum you might be able to get a Hamilton Reserve bottle from Clifton Estate Rum (I am so serious... best Rum I have ever had).

Great place to start your visit of Nevis! Self tour, lots of different displays about different times in their history. If your a Alexander Hamilton fan, this is where he spent his early years. Small gift shop and small restaurant on the grounds.

Small museum retelling the history of development, enslavement, rebellion, and modern times. Alexander Hamilton is the favorite son of this place and occupies a large presence here - including a full statue. Worth a visit.

Interesting little museum with a gift shop and outdoor snack bar. This is Alexander Hamilton's birthplace.

Really cool place to visit - they really don't teach you this stuff in American history courses at school. Awesome find!

I had forgotten that Hamilton was born in Nevis. Great little museum with lots of his story, island history including pre-history archeology digs.

I only popped in, whilst passing through to catch a bus, and took a quick look around. Took a few pictures and looked at the opening hours and entrance fee as I plan to spend some time there next year.

Visited the Museum of Nevis History while on a short visit to Nevis in November 2024 for a workshop. I admire how this very small organization is able to share Nevis History with all their guests in a very meaningful way. If you're a history buff, stop on by and pay a visit.

The home and museum of D Hamilton Jackson was interesting with all the history posted. You are allowed in the yard for information, but not in the museum without paying 10 U. S.

So informative for anyone who enjoys history.... which should be everyone now, since in America, kids can't be taught real history but only sanitized versions.... there's the real scoop on Alexander Hamilton and lots of the surrounding stories here on this precious little island. Go see for yourself!

Cool museum that has stuff on Nevis history and Alexander Hamilton history. Right in downtown Charlestown. Was not busy when we were there. Would recommend if you are in Charlestown visiting Nevis and like history.

Kleines Museum mit viel stolzer Geschichte über Alexander Hamilton. Kleine Räumlichkeiten, aber liebevoll gestaltet. Der Giftshop hat schöne Souvenirs.

There really is nothing much here. They want a big admission fee, even just to go in the gift shop. Never heard of paying money to go to a gift shop. They were rather rude to my wife and her friend.

Overpriced in my opinion, small exhibition and no AC inside

Quick stop in to learn history of the island, and information on Alexander Hamilton and where he was born. A small easy visit that is worth an hour of your time!
