What a great place! It's beautiful and has lots of places to sit and enjoy nature, I really like all the swings. The fountains are really cool and it's just an amazing park to walk around. Hard to believe it's free! Fantastic spot for an outside lunch (and we saw loads of people getting their graduation pictures taken.)

Lovely community park. It was a bit difficult to maneuver with stroller as there are steps and to find a ramp option took you further than we would initially look. Some features could benefit from pressure washing but everyone had a good time. Bathrooms are available at site, parking is free, and there are many metal bench swings. Although much is shaded, a towel was useful to drive off benches in AM and to sit on when they got hot in afternoon sun.

Most beautiful relaxing place you can go on a cool spring day. The azaleas are amazing. The water falls are a nice touch too. My mom passed away this last Sunday and she loved it here. 😢 I dedicate these pictures to her.

Great spot for a picnic! We had the pleasure of meeting one of the park employees who gave us a whole history on the park and the doctor and the family that bought the grounds. It’s a beautiful place to take a short stroll, eat lunch and take pictures.

I went here yesterday with my girlfriend, This is a very nice place to go, relax, and enjoy a nice stroll. I lived in the area for almost 3 years and never knew about this hidden gem. If you are in the area thinking of checking this place out, I highly recommend it!

Wow!!! This place is an absolute gem in Rock Hill, and plenty of parking and no fee to go through! Lots or people were taking family pictures, so that spoils the peace a bit, but the fountains and benches are a great way to relax. Best to go in early April when everything is in bloom and colorful. Will definitely go back again and again!!

It's a beautiful place. Very peaceful. It's best to see in the early morning for more serenity and it's less crowded at that time.

One of our favorite places to walk our dog, especially when the azaleas are in bloom! We love that even though the park is relatively small the paths are winding so you can get plenty of exercise while admiring the fountains, walking bridges, and wildlife. They do a great job maintaining this place and we’re so thankful to have this beauty in town!

Beautiful Veteran’s Day ceremony. Such a nice thing for the city to do to honor their vets, recognize their ROTC, and memorialize POW/MIA. Would love to see this event publicized more and to allow for more to be done to honor the vets in our communities. Beautiful gardens we would love to come back to visit again!

Found a cool place in Rock Hill! We went to walk through Glencairn Garden and it's very beautiful and relaxing. They have a few ponds with fish and turtles with tons of lilypads and weeping willows, which was beautiful. They also had a very cool cascading fountain, which was very nice, with benches and seat swing to help you relax and enjoy the view. People were also lying out in the sun and having picnicks. The garden itself is a pretty good size and they have tons of different plants and flowers with walkways all the way through and around the garden. We also saw a very large bird but were unsure of what type of bird it was but was very cool nonetheless. They DO have restrooms towards the back of the garden and it is wheelchair accessible. They have a kids' garden, but it is under construction, but it sounds like it will be nice when it's finished. With all that being said, in one of the creeks we were walking by we heard a frog going crazy, and when we looked we saw a small copperhead snake so you have to watch your surroundings while going through some of the paths and trails!!!! Be Careful!! Overall it's a hidden gem that some people in Rockhill don't even know about and it's worth stopping and checking out.

Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Don’t waste $15 per person on the Daniel Stowe botanical garden when you can go here for free and it is SOOOO much better! Glencairn Garden has so many azalea bushes, fountains and just plain beautiful scenery and it doesn’t cost anything.

It is beautiful! The large fountains are well cared for. You will see turtles, birds, bumble bees and lizards when you go. Every walking path but one just leads back on itself so you can walk which ever direction you like. There are bathrooms and much of it is done well enough for wheel chair accessibility. They have e two posts for doggy bags, but better to bring your own. We will be going back. The picture and video I provide are from a GoPro Hero 9.

Love to walk here! So beautiful! Magnolia tree with such stunning magnolia flowers and cute little bridges to walk across and look at the turtles. Very picturesque!

I would say one time visit place if you are in the area and have some spare time. Not properly maintained. If properly maintained, this place can turn into a fun place to visit with family and kids. There are water fountains but the water is dirty. Can bring your dog for the walk here.

Looks like a nice garden. We came in mid November so I think they let everything go and it wasn't taken care of at the time. None of the fountains were flowing and most of the water was drained. Leaves everywhere but still beautiful. I'm guessing they won't start caring for it again until the Spring.

It’s a cute little park, with lots of azaleas now in bloom (March 2023)! I love that it’s dog-friendly! Our pup enjoyed her stroll and I snapped some cute pictures of her while there. One drawback is that it’s small. We walked around the entire park in 20 minutes. If you are staying in Fort Mill, it’s a 20-minute drive for a relatively short walk at these gardens. If you are there to sit down on one of the benches or swings to enjoy the weather, or enjoy a picnic, then maybe it’s worth the drive. We went to get a walk in and exercise our pup after an entire morning of sitting in the hotel room, and felt like it was such a brief experience. Definitely go to a state park instead if you are looking to get some steps in.

This public garden is absolutely beautiful. Lots of maintained beds, natural area mixed with tranquil, serene water features. This is definitely worth a visit, even from far away. There is a toddler park near by as well.

This is a great little scenic stop near downtown Rock Hill. As a vet, it's nice to see the display they have honoring U.S. military service. No lie, I proposed to my wife here. 10/10!

The place is beautiful. I came here for my maturity pictures and the back grounds were phenomenal. I just wish one of the fountains facing the road wasn't dry. Other than that, the grass was pretty and green, and it was clean. No trash or other things hiding the parks beauty.

The garden was not very pretty as it had been in the past. The grounds have not been maintained and I was really disappointed. We won’t be using this park for pictures this year. I know it’s kinda off season but there were dead weeds everywhere. Old flowers that had died… it just looked a little abandoned to me.
