A really very nice place, I came to drink with my friends. I asked the bartender to recommend a rum that I had never tried, she recommended her favorite and it was really good! An artfully made cocktail!

I came here and ordered the vegan burger a couple months ago and it was amazing. I decided to come back months later because I’ve been constantly thinking of that burger.. I came back today and honestly it did not disappoint. It was just as good as I remember. Best burger I have ever had!!! Vibes are amazing in this place, it’s clean, fun and great music!! ❤️

In Shoreditch this bar and music venue seems very popular, I went mid week and before entering was politely asked if I had a booking or was a walk in. I was going to a concert so no problems but suspect it might be prudent to book ahead if you are specially travelling. There is a very large outside area with plenty of seating together with an outside bar, however there were a number of potholes that really should be attended too. Many people were eating which suggests the food offering is good. Indoors there is more than one floor with an upstairs bar plus the music room is on the ground floor. Plenty of steps so not sure about disabled facilities so best to ask. The music room was nice with it's own bar and loos plus the sound was good and it had reasonable lighting. Overall a nice place with pricing typical of the area.

Music based Pub, great venue for a night out - see some bands, warm in winter and courtyard in summer - happy staff, nice guys doing security - classic spot

Got kicked out from the venue for no reason. Even tho were ready to pay for the additional guest entrance tickets. (I was already a guest but they decided to kick me out because I was begging to let them in my friend who was late. Got followed with the guard for to make sure I am leaving, ridiculous) Staff is rude, pointing fingers at the customers, never had such a terrible experience ever in London. Don’t risk and choose another place to go to.

A beautiful roof bar, great atmosphere, good for children, but customer service could be better. I went there in the afternoon for a friend's birthday. I brought my 2-year-old, both him and I had a great time. He enjoyed walking around the place, going up and down stairs and watching the croquet games. The place is quite big and has a variety of decor, so he enjoyed it for a few hours. His absolute favourite was the photo booth. The customer service could be better though. Drinks took a long time to arrive and they couldn't figure out where to place us once our timeslot expired, so we had to move around a few times. Different members of staff talked to us and gave the impression that they were disorganised and didn't talk to each other. But, overall, it's a great meeting place for friends who are a mixture of parents and non-parents, I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic beer, great food and the outdoor space makes this the perfect summer drinking spot away from the hustle and bustle of Shoreditch

Actual serving bar is small, space otherwise plentiful. Lovely outdoor space with umbrellas and heaters. Many seats. Really friendly staff and security. Nice vibe even when it's pouring. Nestled in the heart of Shoreditch. In a vibrant location. We didn't go into the indoor club,

Waited 1 hour 45 minutes for our food. Then when it came it was so spicy (chicken burger) we couldn’t eat it as it was burning our mouth off and we like spicy. Normal burger was nice. The manager gave us a free drink each and our money back so that was nice of him but 1 hour 45 minutes to wait on food is atrocious. The place was also infested with flies.

The bar is really nice, it have big outside (under sky) area with great vibe and inside area. We were sitted outside only, there is outside bar with limited drinks (The bartender told us the inside have more verity of drinks). The local brewery beers (signature brew - ipa and pilsner) were really good for newage taste. The people, The music and The vibe outside was super cool, we really enjoyed! also the outside bar is dog friendly, so you can bring your friends on 4 legs 😃

Quite a chilled and nice place for drinks, not too busy , prices of drinks are reasonable considering the location of the place. Service is good and relatively quick as you can order online through a QR code

Food menu looked good but we didn't eat here so couldn't review it. Similarly, it was early and we were first in so no atmosphere. Barmaid was lovely and craft beer good.

This is a great place to hang out. Lots of outdoor seating (with heaters) and outdoor bar. And great space indoors for entertainment space. It does feel a bit student-y so not the place if you want a finer experience but it's such a great relaxed atmosphere.

The bar and patio area look really nice. The variety of beers is good. They advertise with great meal deals, also on the menu. However it is not possible to order them via their mandatory ordering app. Also the internet is pretty poor in the patio. This makes ordering very difficult via an app. The staff only picked up glasses.

Not my usual scene (heavy metal/ rock/ people wearing a lot of black, spikes and colourful hair) but has a good outside area and the people were nice! Drinks were a pretty penny though, 2 drinks were 26 quid!

Really lively in the evenings! We went on a Wednesday night after work and it was packed, a great atmosphere but this did mean pretty heavy queues at the bars and a long wait for food. However the staff were brilliant and kept everyone smiling, food and drink are reasonably priced for London, will definitely be back!

Great venue. We saw some live bands there a few months ago. The pictures are of a band called Lovepet Horror

I have been going to this bar for years and seen such an evolution. The courtyard is now fully used, no more scrapyard at the end of it (which I used to love). The place has become a little bit too popular for my test now but I still like it so much that I keep coming back. If only they had a professional table football instead of the plastic toy-like one they installed downstairs. Can't be perfect I guess...

No music outside, expensive drinks, had two tables and they didn't put them next to each other. Didn't check ID or search anyone do anyone could have come in and caused trouble

Cool place, nice vibe! Not the most authentic of places but we had some good fun there! Music is good and drinks are a bit expensive but good too.

Good place, relaxed, nice outside space. Food is slightly middling, the service is similar. All in all a good place to sink a few, chat, laugh and warm up. Just make sure you move on, there is more fun to be had elsewhere.

Burger was amazing definitely one of the best in London, just only one piece of bacon on the burger which let it down. My girlfriends drink took an hour to sleep serve through the app, would recommend gping to the bar.

Fast delivery via the menu with a good selection of food and drink, however more items are available in the bar than via the app

Great place good food and nice drinks, one of the few with AF beer on tap. Stairs so not wheelchair accessible. Two bars and seatings, it's a sweet place. Great musical taste too!

Great little bar, found it by accident but it has a lovely pale ale. Seems like a trendy place and most likely will get busy later on.

The woman security is extremely impolite. No need to spread your life frustration onto happy and paying customers. We won't be back and won't recommend this place.

Amazing outdoor seating bar with good drinks and quick service. Inside there is also a separate concert space with (usually) hard-rock/punk music.

I have always loved this place. Today they lost a client ( dont think they care tbh). We had been sitting on a table for 3 hours just enjoying ourselves, no booking sign or whatsoever. All of a sudden, the manager shows up and asks us to leave, as the table has been reserved. The kids who apparebtly had booked the table sat down literally pushing us out and management supported them. I have never been so mistreated in any place and made feel as a second tier citizen, being mocked by the new table owners in the process. The manager actually acknowledged they had made a mistake with their booking system, yet we were the ones paying the prize for it. Disgraceful

Terrible place bad drinks and appalling bar staff. Only decent staff were the security/bouncers. Plenty more bars around so easy to avoid!

I love the outdoor space. It's got a secret garden vibe and even when it's very busy theres still a bit of seating available.

Awesome space. The 52 songs project is a great space to perform and test out your material and have people talk to you about what they liked. Get good info on your work by other musicians etc

Appalling behaviour from the security guards. The actual place itself is good nice heated outdoor seating and nice vibes. The night was ruined when it was time for my boyfriend and I to leave. The bouncers were asking us to leave as it was closing time, perfectly reasonable. They said we could finish our drinks while walking to the door. As we got there we stopped and were having a bit of a chat with the bouncer at which point he weirdly switched and became really aggressive. Snatched my boyfriends drink and threw it then pushing him down the street. Totally out of nowhere and completely uncalled for. We weren’t being rude or aggressive at all. No warning or anything just literally 0-100. Very confusing and upsetting for us and just completely out of line.

Feel like this place is getting review bombed maliciously because this place is great. Staff are really friendly, especially with the axe throwing. It's a cool place with a nice atmosphere. Only complaint I heard from our group was there was one bartender that was quite rude but besides from that, we all had a great time

Nice place where to get a beer in Shoreditch. Great terrace with lots of big heated tables. Also they have dancing area inside. We had few beers and tried some nibbles which were tasty. Partial table service.

The outdoor space has gone bigger. Reminds me of the beer garden in the Germany. Friendly staff. I just hope they can serve beer faster on the outside bar. Weekend live music is grand.

4 stars for the beer selection as well as some interesting spirits gains a star for serving Siren beers on draught as well as some rarer craft brews and having Diplimatico Rum in! Gets very busy but the staff are great you normally need to book ahead but then it is Shoreditch! Worth a visit!

  • 4/5 Vaughn H. 2 years ago on Google
Seems unassuming from outside but had a few surprises on tap, including a couple of breweries I've only ever encountered once or twice in London. Super friendly staff and nice vibes throughout. Only slight is the somewhat careworn nature of the place and smell of the toilets. Definitely worth a visit.

We held our 9th DUSKWAVES event - live synth and electronic music - at Strongroom in October 2023. A great venue for this and a brilliant time had by all of the artists and attendees.
