Another positive experience from Wetherspoons, really friendly and engaging staff and a fascinating historic building. Breakfast was of a good quality and real ale was well kept. Pleasant surroundings, lots of power points and the usual very low prices. Numerous hot drinks for 99p and the half a real ale was 99p.

Great fun & good pub... This pub has been a long standing favourite over the years. It has a nice atmosphere and the food usually turns up very good. Placed in a lovely historical building. Fantastic value on all levels. Never not enjoyed.

I come here to work, as unlimited refills of tea/coffee are about £1.50 and there's loads of space and it's not too noisy. The app works well and the service is always excellent.

I think 3 stars sums it up. It's ok. There is no positive atmosphere to speak of, but the beer is cheap. It doesn't have the huge student gatherings that the Kingston one gets. Staff were good.

We had a relaxed afternoon chatting in The Coronation Hall. The meal and beverages were wonderful as was the service. Ideal for both family and friend gatherings.

My 105th (still open) 'Spoons visited. A large Wetherspoons on the main High St, not far from the Rail Station. The building has had a history of being a Lecture Hall, Cinema and a Bingo Hall before becoming a Wetherspoons branch in Sept 1997. Service was a little slow. However, the Vegetarian Breakfast I ordered was well presented, cooked and modtly hot. Nice to see a LARGE flat mushroom with the breakfast for once. Only gripe is that beans were lukewarm, however this is an issue regularly encountered and not exclusive to this branch. Staff were friendly and resolved an issue with both coffee machines being out of action in good time. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

I ordered a chicken bbq and the menu did not specify that this was a panini, was very disappointed as i did not want bread. They need to work on their menu so that people know exactly what they are ordering. The bacon was not cooked to perfection and the salad was not soo tasty. Definitely i wont be setting my foot here again. Generally the place isn’t soo clean and they take too long to clear their tables.

Food was good and pub was quirky - ordered more drinks on the app and service was unfortunately very slow . Saturday lunchtime so not overly busy as the evenings tend to be , waited 20 mins , could see them sat on the bar so just went and got them . Would probably not use the app here and just go to the bar and order .

Perfectly located near Surbiton station, it ticks so many boxes- a sophisticated arena for wouldbe philosophers to discuss their ...bloody ell you can order beers ont phone! Marvellous!

A good Spoons in an ornate building with all booze sensibly priced. The food is decent too and no frills, but at least it is priced as such - in fact better than some pubs in the area that charge a fortune for really average food. Staff are also polite too. Look out for JPM of a late evening.

A must visit pub even if it's just to look at the interior, the rest you'll be familiar with at it's a wetherspoons. A short walk from the train station, inexpensive beers and food.

Brilliant pub. Really interesting building. Long, long history dating back to Edward VII hsving a "secret Mistress HERE". His swimming pool for his sexual activities is still in the cellar....now used for Weatherspoons beer cellar. A bit ironica, eh? Gteg Hall Architect and Chartered Building Surveyor.

I love ‘spoons. Remarkable value, great staff, great beer (£2.39 on Dec 2022) and pizza to rival and pizzeria and curry to rival a curry house.

Don't eat here. Check how many drink but don't eat. Two meals, served with cold rice and cold chips. Burger barely warm. Tim Martin ought to know about this. Great pub, good beer, poor food.

Another awesome building saved by Spoons. I had the Spicy chicken and my good lady had the beef Lasagna both were very nice, fast service, hot and tasty food at a good price.

Great environment and the drinks were very affordable and the food we ordered was tasty, however the bathrooms were dirty and the bathroom floor was flooded/covered in water that didn't smell very good.

Typical Weatherspoon's good cheap reliable, this is a repurposed cinema so the building is interesting. However, it needs love the interior is tired, my wife would say that the toilets a little questionable, glasses and cutlery need to be inspected as they are not always gleaming! But at these prices and quality it is what is it is. The Weatherspoons app is great and makes life much easier, speed of delivery and quality very good for price.

Visited the coronation hall on the way home from the great British Beer Festival, and there was a great difference of quality regarding the ale. At the beer festival, the beer tasted a lot fresher and not stale, which it was in Surbiton.

Well run pub with good selection of beers, wines & spirits at reasonable prices. Wouldn’t call it a family pub but very handy for meeting friends and always clean, tidy with nice staff

Busy "Spoons" in a converted cinema with amazing original barrel vaulted ceiling. Beloved of old gits ( me) and students on a budget ( my son +mates). Very convenient for Surbiton station. Friendly and efficient staff.

Cost effective booze and varying offers. You can always be sure you're paying a decent price for drinks. For me, Wetherspoons tends to be top choice when going to pubs and this is due to the app which is great. Ordering on the app prevents me having to wait ages to place a order with people that have zero customer service skills. Downside is all the vagrants that tend to regularly use this place to get their daily hit. There are also issues with cleanliness.

Great Wetherspoons in the cente of Surbiton. All the usual suspects on draught plus food menu. It's opposite the station so very handy when getting on/off the train.
