Reserved in advance - the only place available was the tears, luckily they had place inside, the erase doesn't look inviting and it was windy. Service was OK, but could have been more attentive. The ambiance is relaxed. The food was tasty with well balanced tastes. Presentation was nice but not spectacular. Nice choice of wine by the glass as well as many bottles. Really enjoyed my fish dish and the pain perdu dessert was good.

We stopped by here yesterday and we LOVED the meal we had. A sampling across their menu which produced one exceptional dish after another. Particular highlights were the beetroot salad and tortellini, and Andreas was a really gracious and helpful host. We hope to return soon, and highlight suggest this place in the meantime!

Dine and wine with the most incredible food and perfectly selected wines to go with your meal at The Ninth The best part of this Michelin ⭐️ restaurant is you can share your food at the table . So I’d recommend to order as much as you can from the menu because each dish is unique and is a must try . I love the vibe of this restaurant, it’s chic yet casual So for a perfect gourmet experience The Ninth is one of my chosen one . I have already been there 3 times and I It’s always gonna be in my top 5 restaurants in London .

We ordered the set lunch menu + sourdough & butter. Sourdough was quite nice, but the butter was not the most flavorful that i’ve had. It lacked the layers of buttery taste. Strozzapreti with romanesco & pork & veal ragu was seasoned strongly; it was quite salty and not much in layers of flavors. Clementine & beetroot salad & coconut yogurt & fig oil was alright… nothing too special about it. Chargrilled mackerel, buttermilk, horseradish , cucumber & apple was quite good. The comparison of chargrilled taste of mackerel and freshness from the cucumber and apple is harmonious in a sense. The buttermilk underneath was balanced well, too. Delica pumpkin risotto, radicchio and ginger was alright. Nothing too special to talk about. Perhaps one wouldn’t like it bcuz the ginger taste is quite strong.

Good service, delicious food and good drinks. The beef cheeks are so tender that it melts in your mouth. Absolutely love their Lamb & truffle en croute, Grezzina courgettes. Pain Perdu & vanilla ice-cream is also good. Would like to go back and try all the dishes on the menu.

Fabulous food and exemplary service. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. The Ninth has a varied menu of sharing plates. I can definitely recommend the cuttlefish, the truffle pasta, the fried gnocchi, the langoustine ravioli and the pain perdu as dessert.

Very very mediocre. Ordered the lunch set, 2 courses plus the French toast. Problem is all the food tasted bitter somewhere. Only the mackerel I think is legitimately good. But even the French toast is burnt too much on the outside so it’s bitter. I don’t like it. It’s overrated.

The food was a range of great to average. Started with snacks. The truffle bake was a nice kickoff to the palate. The smoked eel was pretty lacklustre. The seabass caparcio was a little too sour on the fish and a tad too much green sauce. The squid pasta was fantastic. Al dente with a great boost of flavour. The dill and meat surprisingly went well together. The veal chop was large in portion and a little too meaty towards the end. Overall a good meal. Service was attentive. Got pretty busy towards 7.

Top quality food and service. My only issue was a spelling mistake on the menu about where the tea was from. It read tea from 'Satenwa, Malawi' when it's from 'Satemwa, Malawi'. I know it sounds ridiculous but the only reason I care is because I did some work and lived at Satemwa estate for a bit where the tea is grown. Iberico pork and the pain perdu was truly top tier.

I’d give The Ninth six stars if I could! Exceeded expectations on all fronts - we went for a set lunch menu which was surprisingly affordable for such good quality. The cured sea trout appetiser was stand out for me, but flavours of every course were incredibly considered. Staff were wonderfully attentive, not imposing but happy to help and explain options when needed. Will definitely return again.

Great experience, l did not know they had a star and thought they deserved one. Tried the makreel, cheeks, pasta with truffle, lamb and cheese cake . Everything was great. Service was great and friendly too. Relaxed atmosphere. Recommended!

Every dish was amazing with a great taste that goes very well together, SO GOOOD! The dishes were interesting and rare in a good way! Such as the potatoes. We shared most of the dishes, and enjoyed them all VERYY MUCH Mackerel, Ravioli langoustine, Duck, Potatoes, and the delicious Pain perdu for dessert! Must come here :)

Wow, this was really not good. We had booked two seats by the bar and the bad service started on arrival. It was like they didn’t want us to sit there. I usually like to sit by the bar but the waiter was like. “Oh no, you have booked by the bar”. The staff used the bar as their storage space during the whole evening. And of the staff members bumped in to me during four occasions during my dinner, he didn’t excuse himself even once. We started of with a drink and almonds. I don’t drink alcohol so I said I wanted to have a bitter drink. The bartender said he could make a fruity one with grapefruit…. That is not a bitter one accordingly to me. So I had a tonic instead. He forgot our almonds. The food was really not good. It was nothing special about the taste and as many others has already said. The pricing is really something else compared to what you get…We didn’t understand how much we should order to be satisfied. But no one told us either. So we got three dishes to share and we left very hungry. We told them we thought the food was blend but no one offered us to fix it. And imagine the shock I got when I ,after we left , got to understand that they even have a star in guide Michelin…

Absolutely delicious. Very well balanced. The decor and atmosphere is great. I wouldn’t say it is the best place I’ve been to, but, it is definitely a great place to have dinner and enjoy an innovative take on various European cuisines.

Concept of the restaurant is to share so you get to try many dishes Food comes out fast Sardines was good, however tail should be cut and the white sauce should have more taste to it A tad too salty Makerel dish was AMAZING! Beef tongue was excellent cook! Truffle spaghetti - disappointing! Even though they top the spaghetti with truffle, you dont get actual get the taste that the taste of the spaghetti is mixed with truffle sauce It should get more truffle taste Sad The iberico ham , main course! Finally worth of michelin star!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Dessert - pain perdu Best french toast in london!!! Overall, passable for 1 star Service can be better, staff still has a little bit of unfriendly

We really enjoyed our evening at this restaurant. The decor and ambience are great, the service was excellent and food was lovely. We had the mackerel and the roast artichoke salad to start - both were delicious. The roe deer main course was fantastic, and we had pain perdu for pudding which was very moreish. Nice wine selection too.

The first time I ate here I had a wonderful meal from the a la carte selection and I was excited to return. The second time I came, in January 2024, I ordered from the tasting menu. Sadly, this did not work out so well for me, partly because I have celiac disease so I can't consume gluten. I appreciate that I am the one that is broken, not the restaurant, and that the restaurant has no requirement to cater for my dysfunction. However, it proved too difficult to make satisfactory adaptions to the tasting menu, with dishes being made gluten-free "by omission". I am sure this is an excellent restaurant for those without dietary restrictions.

In short, good food. Nothing was disappointing. Food was tasty, fresh, well seasoned. The best dishes were the carpaccio beef, the potatoes and the chocolate cremo. Having said all that, no dish was *exceptionally* amazing. For a Michelin restaurant we expected slightly more than that.

I have been here for my 18th anniversary with my husband. Food was delicious, very nice atmosphere, a bit too expencive the main in my point of view, expecially compared with the dessert which were huge and cheap. I am a pastry chef and i have really loved their pain perdu with tonka icecream

Great food and service, we had a lovely lunch mostly on the set menu. The pain perdu with tonka bean ice cream was awesome.

Really loved this! We had the tasting menu, which ended with the best dessert I have ever tasted (pain perdu made from house-made brioche with tonka bean ice cream - SO GOOD!). Service was faultless and the atmosphere was cosy and not stuffy at all. We will definitely be back.

What a beautiful experience I've had at this restaurant! The team was welcoming and pleasant and the dishes were to be remembered! The pain perdu was perfect - made me close my eyes when I took the first bite. Highly recommend!

Food and service were both excellent. Between us we had starters of asparagus and sea trout and they were so fresh and were a work of art on their own. The lunch menu was very decently priced for a one star Michelin restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

Great food, quiet but cosy atmosphere. My personal favourites: the beef cheeks, the deer with hazelnuts and the truffle rigate. You should definitely try the Pain Perdu too!

First visited The Ninth when it opened, before it had even earned a Michelin star. I'm pleased to report that it has survived lockdown with its fabulous food and exemplary service intact. The atmosphere is still calm and relaxed, with a varied menu of sharing plates for both moderate and adventurous palates. The addictively savoury cuttlefish pasta and silky rosemary ice cream that accompanied the apple tarte tatin were standouts, but there is no disappointing dish here, and the cocktails are also a treat.

Star rated restaurant. Waiter makes faces when you tell him you don't eat shrimps or pork. That is not very professional. The food was excellent. Expensive though. 250 pounds for 2 persons sharing a starter and a desert, 2 main courses and 2 glasses of wine. Special : fermented Jerusalem artichoke. Nice dishes. Venison tartar was very good. The lamb was exquisite. So good food, very expensive.

Absolutely fantastic. I've been following Jun since I was a kid and finally getting to eat at the Ninth was both a pleasure and amazing experience. The staff were amazing, food fantastic and atmosphere exceptional. My partner was made up for her birthday with the card given to her and felt so special! Worth every single penny, I will be looking forward to the next time I can sit down at this restaurant - one of the best places I have eaten at, period. (Get that beef cheek starter, thank me later)

This palce is recommended, this is not normally the type of food i go for in terms of fine dining but was pleasantly surprised, the service was great staff were attentive, the ambience was good and the food was great. Yes it is expensive as it's a michelin star rated restaurant but it was a good experience personally so I'd recommend to anyone look to dine here

The fusion is not as good as expected. Eel was really good. Which nicely kept the tender texture of eel. grilled mackerel had a strong smoky flavor which was yummy. Beetroot was nothing surprising. Cod fish was too average. Beef was below average, its not juicy enough anymore.

"5/5 best french toast in London" Came here for the French toast after seeing it on Instagram and I have to say it is the best french toast I have tried in London The French toast was custardy and gooey on the inside with a crispy creme brulee exterior. Partnered with a luxury vanilla ice cream this was a perfectly paired dessert which was not too sweet or sickly. The restaurant itself is quite cosy with a minimalist design juxtaposed with exposed brick.

DEFINITELY WILL VISIT AGAIN. Chef knows how to remain the original flavor of the ingredients while cooking with creative ways. We were amazed at the taste and smell of each dish, especially the astonishing cod croquettes and lamb. And you must try the cocktail. The ninth won't let you down, so does the vibe and service. Really an unforgettable experience.

One star experience indeed, in the best way possible. Great and attentive service. Food was so accurate, unique and very good and tasty. We really enjoyed everything. Best dish in our opinion was the beef cheek, but everything else we ordered was also so well balanced and full of flavor. Highly recommend a visit!
