We had a great lunch here! Seated quickly, very friendly server who was very attentive to our toddler and also time conscious as she got wiggly at the end. The food was great- really like the mark sushi roll, we also had the what does love have to do with it. Fried pickles and peppers was a great appetizer - highly recommend. Even the kids meal was creative and fun. Overall we would come back!

I came to Charlotte for a business meeting and was asking around for some food recommendations. This was one of the first places I was told to check out. Some of my coworkers and I decided to try it the first night we were here and were very pleased with our experience. The place is clean, well kept and the service was outstanding the whole time. It was hard picking between a burger or sushi! Both looked amazing and I knew I wouldn't be disappointed either way so decided to try a sushi roll. Below are photos of the food we ordered which was very fresh and delicious! The fish was some of the freshest fish I think I've ever had. Recommend the sushi if you are a seafood fan. We split the fresh berry tall cake and it was to die for. Absolutely amazing food and experience. I took pics and posted with this review to show you how good it was. Overall, a very unique spot with a beautiful view and great service. HIGHLY recommend to those looking to check out an awesome place in Charlotte!

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner. Our server was Mina and she was awesome! The sushi was fresh and had excellent flavor. Also tried the CBCLT Burger and it was cooked to perfection! Look forward to coming back!

Very popular place in local. To be honest, I don't like food at all, my boyfriend has ordered sushi with meat and burger, he loves it. Mine food was so salty and tasted weird that I couldn't even finish. The atmosphere was fine. Something new. Workers have been polite and helpful.

Fun place! Very big menu so pace yourself. Ordered the Burgooshi, the American double bacon cheeseburger one and it's fun. However their sushi rolls are top notch. Look at these photos! LOOK AT THEM! not just a pretty face. Enjoy.

I love this place. I always get the bento box with a burger, sweet potato fries, cucumbers, and a California roll. The food always comes out fresh and very tasty. I love the cucumbers. They are a bit spicy, but the kick is great. I tried the California roll with brown rice today and that was pretty cool. Although the roll did crumble a bit. Also, I appreciate that they have gluten free buns available and they are pretty good as well. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch today and am glad that I was in the area to try them for a weekday lunch.

My significant other and I came here with our corgis. We were there for dinner and the service was amazing! They are so attentive! The food was so amazing as well! We had sushi rolls (which we had left overs because serving size is huge) and a burger and fries (for our dog). We had an appetizer which was crab Rangoon. I would recommend that appetizers to anyone! It’s like a crab cheese dip! Burger was the squeal burger! It was to die for! Come and visit this restaurant and it is dog friendly!

Nice patio seating area. Yummy food. Friendly service. The lemon pound cake dessert was so good! Just be sure to save room because it’s huge!

Expert Tip: They don’t take reservations, but you can download their app and get on the waiting list if you’re in like a 20 mile radius. The service was excellent, but we were a little underwhelmed by the food. The sushi rolls were good but nothing to really brag about above any other decent sushi. The burgers could’ve been great if the meat was seasoned, but the cook on the burger was spot on for what we ordered. The only place they really missed the mark was their fries. Whatever seasoning they were using was terrible. As people who love fries of all varieties, it was pretty disappointing that they literally inedible, and we both left a plate full of fries behind.

Had a surprisingly good time here. The sushi was fantastic along with the friendly service. The art in the restaurant was really really cool. Like you will actually stop to admire it. The sushi burger box is a great concept and perfect for someone who wants to munch on different things. Can’t wait to go back.

My boyfriend and I came here for a lunch date. We sat at the bar and had a really excellent time! The food was good. The drinks we good. And the vibe of the place is nice. Our bartender was also really awesome! I had the sake flight and he taught me a lot about sake!!

Food was excellent! Absolutely delicious. The food was well layered with flavored and presented nicely. My only observation was the service was not as attentive as they could be. They were quick to leave the table before really making sure we didn't need another drink or something else. They always seemed in a hurry. So we just drank whatever water we had left and didn't get the second drink or additional items. With that said, we would still go back and give a try again. The staff was friendly just in too much of a hurry. The food made up for it.

For special occasions Cowfish is our goto restaurant in Charlotte. We come here for birthdays, anniversaries and this year, Father's day. We have special diet needs including Gluten free, and Cowfish has wonderful food for everyone. I highly recommend them. Meals are well prepared, tasty and the service is very good. This is a must see if you are in Charlotte.

Let me start with the front office and ushers - good. The menu - looked good on paper. The service - their website talks so much about service, blah, blah, blah. So they set your expect high. Then you meet Shay/Shea, the impatient waitress who hates her job and does not want to be at work who thinks it’s a chore to have to speak with you or get your order. TERRIBLE!!! 🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️ We almost walked out. Anyway, we ordered our food and when they arrived about 35mins later the fries were soft AND cold. We figured after this long wait, the food would be worth the wait, but we were so wrong. Shea/Shay couldn’t be bothered to ever stop by and ask how everything was. She was nowhere to be seen. Not even to come and ask if we wanted to order anything else. She finally just appeared with the check just plopped it on our table and walked away. 🤔 Certainly didn’t live up to the hype. I wouldn’t mind going back to give them another try if (and only if) they sorted out their high expectations customer service and started practicing what they preach.

Loved it so much we went back twice during our stay in Charlotte! Staff is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Food was just out of this world, from their sushi to their burgers!

I'll admit I was sceptical when my friend said the name of this place, but I was pleasantly surprised! Could probably use more waiting staff, but the value exceeded the cost, so I'm very pleased with my meal ($50 including tip)! If you don't want to wait like in most restaurants go to the bar and wine is half off on Wednesday, so definitely take advantage of that!

Went here recently to get some lunch. Service staff was friendly and our server Stephanie was really nice and explained the menu and all of the burgers and sushi available. My friend and I ordered some appetizers and two entrees. Tuna nachos, crispy calamari for the apps, Arnold hammandegger for the burger and a lunch bento box.if you like tuna or sushi in general I would recommend getting the tuna nachos to try. Overall food and experience was excellent.

Cheeseburger sushi!? What an amazing concept that I never knew I needed in my life. They have so many things to try on the menu that it’s going to take many trips back to work my way threw the menu. They have a great sushi menu. They have a great burger menu. They also have many items that combine the two into something new and tasty! Of course, the (boozy) shakes are great.

They weren't kidding when they said long wait times. We tried making reservations online and the system wouldn't let us. We ended up sitting at the bar but WOW can I just say those were some of the most uncomfortable seats ever! I literally had to climb into my seat and jump to get down I know I'm short but I've never had this issue anywhere else when sitting at a bar. Our server was super nice and attentive even though it was slammed packed busy. We got crab Rangoon dip and the tuna nachos for appetizers. The crab Rangoon was more cream cheese than crab would not recommend for the price I felt like I got jipped. The tuna tacos were pretty good but felt like they needed a different sauce. All the sushi we got was delicious. Overall great place if you can get an actual table. Maybe stick to just the sushi though because the appetizers were not worth it.

Incredible experience! We weren't sure which sushi we had in our bento box from a year ago, the waitress and the manager spent so much individualized time with us to figure it out. It was amazing! They found our sushi and our lunch experience was perfect. 10/10 we're coming again 🫶

We have visited many times over the years and Cowfish is worth it. We usually order a burger with sweet potato fries and a bento box. Service is usually good and food is usually good. Sometimes when they get really busy the food and service can be a bit lacking, but overall Cowfish is great.

Loved this place! I only gave 4 stars as lunch took forever. No complaints on food or service. Server knew which foods might have surprise gluten. A+ We each had the bento box and were full and satisfied. Nice presentation too!

This is has been one of our favorite restaurants since 2016. We always start with the Crab Rangoon Dip. My go to meal has always been a build your own burger. Most restaurants don’t have turkey burgers so this is always something I enjoy. My favorite part is the fries. I love the seasoning blend they add to them. Hubby has tried many of the burgers. The thundering herd bison burger is his favorite and the Boursin bacon burger is a close second. Lately he’s been into their sushi rolls (we only eat cooked sushi). The Mad Mango-cado is his favorite! He tired the North Hills Roll for the first time but the cilantro was overwhelming. The tempura roll is good as well. Definitely recommended the Mad Mango-cado!

Simply put this restaurant is amazing! Our first experience here was phenomenal, food is delicious, service was fast and professional, and prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back for more.
