I’ve been to Dandelion Market in Charlotte, North Carolina a few times now. I always have a good experience every time. The service is great. Our server Caitlyn was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food is also very good for the price. We shared a bunch of apps this time. I do believe they have some of the best mac & cheese in the city. We also have the mussels that were very good. The red sauce was delicious and it came with bread. The prosciutto and fig crostinis were OK. I don’t think I would order that again. The fries are always good- thin and crispy. They come with ketchup and an aïoli mayo that is really good and different. The wings were also good. Crispy but not saucy. The only negative about that is they had no blue cheese, only ranch. They were still good though. The calamari was also very good. It wasn’t rubbery but lightly fried and crispy and had a good flavor. They also have a pretty good beer list and wine. Another negative is that my wine was warm. One cool thing is they have a bunch of local beers that rotate. I’ll definitely go back to Dandelion for sure!!

This was our first time here, we had to see what all the rave was about with there reopening after closing for 2 years due to the pandemic. The atmosphere is very cozy, they have an upstairs larger bar and seating area. They stay open late and have a DJ and dance floor. We just came in for drinks, but will visit again for food. Everything we saw looked tasty. Our bartender Zack from CO, was very attentive and friendly. We shall return.

I went here last night with a friend we both are woman of color. We ordered 1 drink downstairs and began walking downstairs. The staircase was soaking and my friend in heels slipped and fell. Instead of any staff seeing if she was okay or needing anything after the STAIRS were wet and security just watched her fall and looked the other way… I was yelled at, had my drink I just purchased taken and yelled at. Extremely unprofessional staff and lack of professionalism from the manager last night who I asked to speak to. We wanted to take a seat to make sure her ankle was okay instead we were pushed out the door and harassed when we each had 1 drink the staff had no consideration for our well being. Will not be returning to this place and am shocked at the lack of class and organization from the manager and staff towards us. Many white people stumbling around falling, slipping and spilling drinks on the staircase. However when one black women slips on a mess that should have been cleaned we are yelled at and kicked out. Would not recommend this bar to anyone.

We went to Dandelion Market when visiting Charlotte and highly recommend it. The food and service were excellent, and the portions were pretty sizable. The seafood in particular (mussels and calamari) were amazing! The calamari was hands down the most tender we've ever had. I can honestly say I wish we were staying longer in Charlotte only so that we could eat there again to try the other items on the menu. Trust me, if you like good tapas-style food, you will not be disappointed with this place.

Let me just say….this place is TOP TIER. I had a surprise dinner for my cousin last night and the service was AMAZING. Food was excellent and our server was so attentive, professional and friendly! I love the atmosphere and how accommodating the staff are for guest who make reservations with large parties. We all had a great time and I will definitely be back to try their brunch.

Went in on a Sunday morning for brunch. I was in Charlotte for a concert and it was my first time here. The place was small but very nice, which i loved! Im a vegetarian, and they had enough food for brunch that I had multiple different options to choose from. The food was delicious and came out at a reasonable time. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped in with a colleague late night after a work function. It was one of few places open at the hour we were looking to eat. The food was good overall. The cauliflower bites were good, Mac and cheese wasvery good. The ahi tuna wasn’t freshly seared but was tasty. The scallops were very disappointing. The menu said they were seared medium but they came overcooked , overpriced, and lacked flavor. This place seems good for small plates but it’s hard to make a meal out of the menu items without spending much more than you typically would for the same combination of items elsewhere.

Hunter was a wonderful server! Our first time here and she did a wonderful job explaining the menu and providing excellent recommendations! My husband and I had 4 toppas, bottle of wine, crème brûlée and an old fashioned each. Everything was outstanding!!! We will be back!

The food was delicious. They serve small plates so you may need to order multiple to get full but, it’s nice to have a bunch of delicious options. The server was very sweet and beautiful. I recommend.

Located in a Downtown alley with large outdoor marquee. The waiter was patient in explaining the menu and beverages. Don't forget the customer created Bloody Mary bar. A mouth explotion with every bite.

We are here last night. We had planned eating elsewhere but when we arrived the place we originally went to was closed. So we saw the Dandelion near by and decided to give it a try! To our surprise it was a lovely treat! We ordered a kale salad, fish, lamb and wings. The kale salad was very delicious, although I wanted a bit more dressing. (But we just stole the dipping sauce from the fish and use that and it was delicious.) The pecans were the highlight of the dish IMO. The tuna was a lovely surprise. Prepared very well and the addition of the picked onion, cucumber, and ginger with the wasabi sauce was on point. This was the star of our meal honestly. The lamb surprisingly wasn’t our favorite, I thought it would be but it was extremely salty on the outer edge so when you got bites of that bit it was hard to enjoy. But it was very tender. Also it comes with a salad on the side which is was nice except for the bit that was hanging out in the lamb side of the dish that was swimming in blood/red sauce. The wings were also amazing. Honestly they were neck and neck with the fish- I’m still upset I couldn’t take my leftovers (we had a show afterwards and they wouldn’t have kept in my purse or the car.) but cooked to perfection and flavor was AH-MAZE-ING We also ordered a drink from the bar, something with elderflower and it was also delicious. So overall- if you have a chance to go then do! You won’t be disappointed! Would definitely go again. Service was great. Seated quickly, server was helpful and kind but also efficient. Atmosphere is nice, although the tables are a bit small for all the plates - but the restaurant isn’t huge so I didn’t count that against them in my rankings. The only photo I snapped was of the lamb unfortunately, but all the dishes were equally dished beautifully.

A friend and I decided to eat here after a chaotic day traveling. It was just what we needed. Great food, great service, relaxing atmosphere. We split the lamb, scallops, carrots and risotto, everything was bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly. Save room for dessert too!

Visited this restaurant tonight while trying to grab a bite to eat before our play started. The ambience was fantastic. The drinks were good but the spinach artichoke dip was the star of the experience. Definitely will be back again.

Delicious. The scallops were perfectly cooked. The tuna was tender and the sauce and pickled ginger and veggies really made the dish a radiant mouthful. The mushroom salad had just the right amount if dressing. My only critique would be the tomatoes were grilled byt they were served cold, which made them mushy. But the goat cheese balls that came with the salad. YUM!!!! The Brie was also fried great and had great taste combinations. The chocolate creme brulee was also creamy and delicious. Everything we had was wonderful. Service was exceptional. Will be back and HIGHLY recommend.

Absolutely loved my experience at Dandelion Market!!! The food and service was top notch. Our meal started with some delicious fries that had a perfect crunch on the outside and an internal texture that was perfect. The Mac and cheese had a wonderful smoked Gouda in it with a nice crumble on the top. Our Sliders were juicy and had an imported bacon on top. The star of the show, had to be the short rib. The presentation on it and the Mac and cheese were both phenomenal. We loved the feta cheese and the tenderness of the meat itself. Washed it all down with some well poured craft beers. This dining event capped off a really cool weekend with my daughter. Miss Kat/Cat took great care of us and we will certainly return the next time we are in Uptown.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Food was tasty - creative and well prepared. Beer selection was great, with some solid local choices. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a great option if you're looking for a spot downtown.

Great server, very attentive. We had a lot of different dishes. The lollipop lamb chops were the best. Friends loved the pork belly. The mac and cheese was delicious! I would recommend you give this quaint restaurant a try. Plus the ladies restroom was super clean which to me is very important.

What a great find! Sat up at the bar and enjoyed the seared scallops, the stuffed pablano pepper, and prosciutto crustinni. A great selection of local tap beers as well as a fun mixed drink menu. The upstairs bar has a table that comes up off the floor after 10pm and becomes a dance floor and has a live DJ with great music!

👍👍 Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good. But my spouse ordered an avocado toast and it lacked flavor. Also, the coffee was legit; really good! Also ordere...
