Went for breakfast on the weekend. They open at 8, we arrived at 817 and got the last open table. They were definitely struggling to keep up with the crowd and it took till 9ish to get our food. Despite this they get all the stars because the food and service were amazing. I can't emphasize that though. We had Ben as a server and he was NEXT LEVEL. Efficient, kind, entertaining, and engaged our 9 year old multiple times. We got the country fried breakfast (get this!), Chicken and waffles, and a special french toast with chocolate sauce. Everything was a 5/5. I will arrive right when they open or around 9 or after when things are a little more in rhythm. I noticed they offer take out orders also. They have a fair amount of outdoor tables. Update: been several times since the first review. Still the best service hands down.

GREAT service. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I came on a Saturday morning and the place was jammed packed. The wait time was 45 mins to an hour but I didn’t mind waiting. My sister discovered that the bar area was available so we ate there. A local recommended the “man-mosa” which was tasty and strong. I also had the shrimp and grits and OMG it was AMAZING 🤩 Anna made us great drinks and Rickey sang to us. The food wasn’t overly expensive and the quality was superb.

The service was amazing! Ann our waitress was absolutely great. I ordered the French toast, cheese grits, and liver mush and wasn’t impressed. The French toast had way too much cinnamon on it and was very dry. The liver mush was dry and fried hard. After seasoning my grits they were great. My hubs had the shrimp po boy and a waffle and loved them both. He wasn’t a fan of the fries. Our son had the chicken and waffles and raved that they were good. I won’t add to our favorite places but will definitely be back to try their lunch.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I'm from NC originally but have been in Michigan the last 5 years. One thing that I can't get, that I miss so much is Liver Pudding or Liver Mush as some people call it. Someone told me to go to Eddie's Place and they DID NOT disappoint. When I say that I had the best breakfast that I've had in 5 years.....!!!!!! I couldn't stop smiling, I savored every bite and this made my 18 hour trip home worth it. It was cooked PERFECTLY and my egg whites were AWESOME as well!! You've got a new customer!

Absolutely our favorite place to have breakfast when in Charlotte. The Parmesean Grits are the only ones I'll eat (ever). Their Chicken & Waffles are amazing. Never had a bad meal. Staff is always friendly. Ben always stops by to say hello! 👋 Ben!

The theme song from Friends played during my visit. And that about sums this joint up. Every course was strong, the staff was casual and overly attentive to customers and each other, while the overall vibe was that of a place you head to when you otherwise don’t know where to go. Call it a Central Perk without the couch, or just another place you can get breakfast at all day, but either way, mark Eddie’s Place down as The One with the Charm.

I had high hopes as this place is always packed. I would give it 1.5 stars if I could. The hashbrowns had zero flavor. Quick sear of raw potatoes. The waffle was ok but I added blue berries. These were the smallest blue berries I've ever seen. The bacon was fine. I was here with three others. We all got different meals and all had the same issue, NO FLAVOR! Hopefully I've lowered your expectations so you'll enjoy your meal.

We ordered the country fried breakfast with hash brown on the side and the house egg benedict with hash brown. Eddie's Place is normally busy and there's a waitlist but we arrived on a Tuesday around 8-9AM and there wasn't a line. Customer service is great! I do recommend this restaurant and I would return.

The service was so nice and welcoming but the food wasn’t that good. Cajun chicken pasta was about 6.5/10 the chicken was flavorful but there was barely any of it. The Alfredo sauce was so thick it was almost nonedible. The taste wasn’t bad but we couldn’t get over the texture. Veggie pasta was another dish we got and it said to have a herb butter sauce but it was a bit bland. It tasted like pasta with soggy veggies.

I thought this place and service was 5 star. However, the front door opening made the place much cooler than it should've/could've been. Had there been a heater at the door it may have taken away some of the chill. The vegetables, for my dish, were cut in large pieces. Meanwhile, the dish was still really good. I had a vegetable pasta, the spicy sauce I had was amazing. The bartender was very attentive and everyone seemed to be very busy. I truly enjoyed myself, aside from being so cold at the bar where we ate.

FANTASTIC for breakfast! Great service. Super yummy hash browns. Good sausage. I had the standard two egg breakfast and got one pancake on the side. The pancake was pretty good. I'd have liked warm syrup but otherwise it was delish. I want to go back and try the breakfast burrito.

I haven’t been to a brunch place in a long time and I have to say that this place is really good when it comes to menu options. Service was great too which is a plus. I got the Steak & Eggs which was pretty good for the price. The portions you get for menu items all are great for it. There’s a variety of options on the menu and unique specials they offer as well. If you are in the mood for brunch or lunch option this is a good place to go to.

Service was excellent and the food was even better. Yes better than excellent. I got the weekend special. Pulled pork hash with a fried egg with a huge biscuit and gravy. Great comfort food on a rainy day like today. The atmosphere was awesome. Cozy and great playlist.

First time going to this restaurant for breakfast and it was a great experience. The hostess was nice and welcoming. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. Had Eggs Benedict with shredded hash browns and it was delicious! Waffles were good too. There’s a lot of parking there.

Crab Soup is why we come, sandwiches are not terrible but a little skimpy. Breakfast is great. Last trip there they ran out of soup, which is why we go, server took care of us, everyone really friendly.

Stopped in on a Sunday just before noon. Had a 20 minute wait. Server was extremely nice and helpful for our first visit. Ordered French Toast and Blueberry and Banana Pancake. Was going to order Chicken and Waffles but the serving was very large. So good!!! Coffee was hot. Syrup was sweet. Will definitely be back.

👍👍 It was delicious, exceptional drinks, I expected a heated space, as it was cold. I definitely recommend wearing more then 2 layers in the Winter. Despite everything, this this is arguably the better rooftops in Charlotte. Delicious delicious drinks, decent prices, casual atmosphere, amazing times....

👍👍 Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good. But my spouse ordered an avocado toast and it lacked flavor. Also, the coffee was legit; really good! Also ordere...
