Thought we would try this place, love rotisserie chicken. It was really good! Juicy fresh chicken with a hint of smoke, seasoned nice and half chicken was a good portion!! Stuffed avocado was really good, no skin so it complemented the chicken. Yellow mustard sauce was my choice and was really good. Worth a try for sure!

Marcos was super helpful, and the food was delicious!! I had the Peruvian wrap (vegetarian) and it was delicious. The kids had pulled chicken and fries. We all had CHICHA MORADA!!!!! This is a special and delicious drink.

I’m highly disappointed by the hair I found on my tres leches. I was looking forward to eating it. Now I am terrified to eat my chicken and rice because of the hair I found on my desert. Can you please let your employees know to wear their hair net so this won’t happen again. What a waste of delivery.

I've been to Viva Chicken several times, but this was a new location for me. The inside was a lot smaller than the others I've been to. There's plenty of seating outside though. We got the Arroz Chaufa and the Tacu Bowl (and added chicken to both). Both were good and rice heavy. Make sure you get their sauces to add to it. My favorite is the yellow sauce followed by the green. I wouldn't say Viva Chicken is one of my favorite restaurants, but it's always a solid, consistent choice.

First time experience here with Viva!! I’m from Syracuse, NY and this authentic Peruvian restaurant hit the spot! Insane flavors, seasonings, and great variety options all around. Great food and service one less star due to parking for curbside is public and on the road. Some may not like this option. Directly across road is a public lot for free if you want to pickup or eat in. Friendly efficient service. I ordered the Tacu Tuesday special 19.95 easily serves 5 maybe 6 depending on how hungry everyone is.

Cute, quaint, clean establishment with friendly staff. Food cooked to order in an appropriate amount of time. Definitely have large portions for your money! My Peruvian fried rice with pulled chicken was huge. The chicken was delicious and full of flavor. The rice was mediocre at best. The green sauce served on the side was delicious, robust flavor and made the rice edible. My husband got roasted chicken with cilantro rice and yucca fries - chicken was excellent but his rice was also bland and nothing special & he didn't eat much of it. Kind of a let down for both types of rice. The fries have potential but could've been cooked a bit more so they were crispy instead of soft. But, if they're supposed to be soft instead of crispy, then they were done pretty well; we aren't fans of soft fries. 😉 Overall we agreed we would get chicken from there again but that's all.

I really like Viva Chicken but, they have to really start cooking their chicken until it’s really done. Every time I order from them the chicken is so pink. I end up throwing it out! The food has great flavor but, needs to be fully cooked!!

Dora's customer service was really great and she answered any questions I had regarding my order. We had a variety of menu items. The green beans are really good! The salads and also the Tacu bowl. Service was great and the food came out fast. If you are a fan of juice try the Passion fruit! Rotisserie chicken was tender and everything was seasoned well!!

Great food and staff. Staff helped my son pick out something to eat. I got the burrito and with the sauce it was amazing. Sweet potato fries were really good too. 👍🏻

The first bite of my inca wrap had a long black hair in it. I threw it away after. So sad and disgusting I hadn’t had Viva Chicken in a long time and I was looking so forward to it.

I have been visiting this restaurant for the last 4 months and the deliciousness of the food is consistent each and every time but it is the service that keeps me coming back. You can tell that service is a priority in their business vision because from the back of the house to the front the energy is vibrating at a high frequency! Dora was extremely helpful and friendly. She kept the dining room clean as well. Overall great employee. The food was excellent.

We got off light rail at Elizabeth. Very good service and food. The kids plate all dark with plantains was tasty not spicy. I had the salad with avocado and added chicken. The ingredients were fresh and crisp. That limeade tastes better than any of the sodas to me. They have outside tables set up also. I’ll be back to try other menu items.

The rice portion should at least cover the entire bowl bottom, I thought. Excellent customer service from the lady that took my order and brought my food to the car but I felt like my food was haphazardly thrown together without care. I guess I should make my own bowls at home.

Thanks to the great and friendly service from one of the nicest managers, Vadim Mudrov, his people skills are fantastic and the food is always fresh and hot and delicious. I felt a need to update as I am visiting this place several times a week and am always impress with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and the great service and I am enjoying so many different delicious meals, salads and desserts.. Good place to eat and enjoy some upbeat music that adds to the happy atmosphere you feel when you enter the nice and clean place.

I have always enjoyed coming here. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is incredible. The managers are always helpful and supportive and the employees are always happy to be there. Besides the food being outstanding, the way that the customers and employees are treated at Viva Chicken at Elizabeth, makes the restaurant feel like a family dinner!!! I highly recommend eating here!!!

Dora was amazing! My catering order with another company fell through and she was able to accommodate my order request in a very professional manner. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions! I highly recommend this location for your catering needs.

I really hate when I speak highly of a restaurant to a customer and then turn around and have the worst experience. First thing I noticed was the negative energy of the girl taking my order. Manager or not, it’s not welcoming and it’s bad for business. My order came out fast but the containers were nasty. Had juices from food and finger stains all over them. I asked the manager if they had hot sauce after purchasing food and a drink and she said the food only comes with two sauces which I never knew about until today. Mind you I ordered a half chicken with two sides of rice. I simply asked to try it and she literally shook her head and said no, I’m sorry. I didn’t quite understand because she made it as if I couldn’t get anymore sauces until I asked if I could I pay for extra and she’s like yeah, it’s 20 cent a piece. I felt like she should have led with that instead of telling me no. I’ve been at this location several times as well as others and the sauces are usually unlimited or free so I was baffled. Customer service gets a 0. After getting my food with no utensils or napkins I sat outside to get some sun and eat my meal and as I was eating I noticed blood in my chicken. I was aware of the pinkish tint and causes with dark meat but the blood freaked me out. I hate the sight of it. The manager did agree to make my food over but after everything that occurred during that visit, I didn’t feel comfortable anymore so I declined and got a refund. I’m not a critic or hater and before ordering a customer asked me how I like the spot and I was raving about my previous experience then this occurs. Definitely got to be mindful of how you praise establishments before getting services because staff changes, cooks changes, management changes. I probably won’t return to this location.

Had a quick company lunch here. It was our first time eating here. Customer service from Dora was fantastic. She explained the food options to us, levels of intensity for the sauces, and gave tasty recommendations. We look forward to returning, and hopefully will get to see Dora again. Absolutely marvelous customer service!

The cashier that tended to me was “professional nice”. Like she was bothered but was being positive enough not to warrant a complaint. I got the chicken with cilantro rice. The food was decent- plantains were AMAZING and I’m not a big plantain person. However, since eating there 2 days ago I’ve been quite sick so I think I have salmonella infection or something close :( . I’d eat there again if it wasn’t a risk of being sick.

I am a sales rep and love using viva chicken to cater to the offices I am bringing lunch too. The Elizabeth location did a great job last week when I needed them. I called last minute and they were able to put together a great meal for 10 people. Thank you!!

The Chicken at this location is amazing!!!! Cooked perfectly, If they had mac and cheese and greens at this location I would eat here twice a week. The fries and the sweet potato fries are good and the sauces are a perfect compliment to the chicken. I will be eating here often.

Walking up, I could smell the food cooking from outside and when I finally got my order it did not disappoint at all! Got the half chicken with green beans and side salad, superb! Chicken was super moist and the flavors of everything were outstanding!

I always enjoy my experiences from this Viva Chicken! I wish they still did happy hour food specials. The manager at this location is one of the kindest people I have ever come across. I usually come about once a week and I've never had a bad meal. The food is great, but the good service is what really keeps bringing me back! Thank you!

the young lady that took my order at the register at 5:26 PM on 3/29/22 at elizabeth avenue was so rude that i couldn’t not say anything. No warm greeting as I walked up, just a stare. And after I finished ordering and paid I said “thanks” and she said nothing, just handed me my drink without when looking at me as if i wasn’t even there. very odd though the woman that was after me she greeted her with “hi how are you, what can I get for you?” this isn’t the first time something like this has happened at viva chicken, it’s evident most of the staff picks and chooses who they treat kindly. as good as the food is, i won’t be eating at viva chicken anymore.

The Peruvian fried rice nobody can copy it I tried it is dynamite and don't forget the green sauce on that delicious rotisserie chicken is it is a flavor that calls you twice a month. You have got to try this food you will not regret it, let's just say it is a comfort that will be desired often!

Placed a large to go order online and there was an error that occurred. I made the dreaded phone call but was pleasantly surprised by the level of patience and customer service I received by Maria. She took time to take my entire order then read everything back to me. This was even before the restaurant opened, at 10:55 am. Maria never rushed me, she made sure everything was correct with our order. When I picked up the order Maria introduced herself and she was the same sweet girl I met over the phone. The manager was also very helpful and provided plates and cups and helped me carry everything out to the car. During these times when it seems like excellent customer service is a thing of the past, Viva Chicken in Elizabeth proved me wrong and provided exceptional customer service!
