I was not pleased with dinner at all I would give two stars because the manager came around and said hello to everyone and asked if everything was ok she seemed excited about her job which is always nice I didn’t state how the service was which I should have but I didn’t want to be problematic, but once I got home i was disturbed so I decided to write a review the host was very welcoming and seemed excited also! Our server “Tyreek” was an awful host I believe he didn’t want to serve us he seemed irritated from hello and following into the entire evening and I wasn’t sure why because we were excited very friendly and simple completely engaged in our conversation just wanting to eat a nice dinner and catch up! This was very unfortunate because the night was still young and we were excited to see one another and enjoy a nice dinner. Overall I loved the Three-Cheese Au Gratin Potatoes that’s it the bread wasn’t fresh as stated I like raisin bread but it had a funny taste which made me think it came in contact with something it shouldn’t have salad was old and browning my calamari wasn’t fried properly the batter was basically falling off. My friends food as she stated tasted as if it came out of a can and my salmon was undone but I decided to take it home and cooked it more to my liking because honestly I think if we would’ve complained about anything our waiter Tyreek would have “blew our house down“ overall I wouldn’t recommend for a fine dining experience! I rushed dinner just for us to get out of there!

My family has been eating at the Palm restaurants for decades. This was a very poor experience. The steak was served cold. We ordered medium rare. It came rare. When reheated, it was a poor replacement. No one listens. We love the Palm. Sorry for this review.

Spent the late afternoon here for my cousin's graduation dinner celebration and the food and drinks were great! The price is on the high end but I felt like it was worth what I got. I would recommend the lobster bisque. So yummy and the bread they start you with is delectable. I would return here.

Classic white tablecloth vibe, the service made the experience special. Food was excellent. Place has character relative to some of the newcomers in the area.

Giant disappointment. I don’t mind dropping a few hundred on dinner but this place was sub par. There are many better options in South Park. Right off the bat, I was surprised there was no dress code in a steak house on a Saturday night. Several men wearing shorts, tee shirts, and open toe sandals. You cannot claim to be fine dining if your atmosphere is sports bar. Our sever was extremely condescending, unprofessional and generally rude. I am slightly embarrassed to report, for the first time ever, I only left a 10% gratuity. Nonetheless, still over $30.00 for just the two of us. I would have been much happier to leave my usual 25% for good service I uploaded a picture of the filet oscar. Notice the ridiculously small portion of crab and wilted asparagus. The bearnaise sauce on the side, was served ice-cold from the refrigerator. No plans to ever return.

Lisa was a lovely server. The food was amazing. The scallops were seared perfectly. The steak cut like butter and was cooked exactly the way i like it. Risottos flavors melted in your mouth. Well worth the cost. Expensive. But you receive an amazing meal.

This is the second time my husband and I have traveled from Maryland and chose to dine at the Palm restaurant while in Charlotte. The food and drinks are delicious. Our first experience was fantastic, and the service was great. Unfortunately, tonight was the complete opposite. Our waitress Kailyn was very short mannered and uninterested in helping my husband and I. We felt as if we bothered her to ask for anything. I am extremely disappointed in that particular representation for such a wonderful restaurant. Sad to say we won't be returning!

The Best! It is a small chain restaurant, and they provide some of the best food around. Our last visit (one of many) we had amazing service by the manager, waitress, back waiter, and hostess. It is a little pricey for those who have not planned ahead. We know the costs and are happy to enjoy this amazing food.

My husband and I frequent steakhouses quite a bit we usually are fans of Gordon Ramsey's, but the palm hands down had the best service and great food! Not only did we have to call and change our reservations on these poor people several times due to travel issues we showed up half an hour before they closed, which I've worked in the restaurant industry for 18 plus years so I know that this is frowned upon, but the staff was still amazingly polite and accommodating! We will for sure be returning to the palm!

It's The Palm. Great service. Great food. On this evening we had lobster and steak. Fantastic, consistent. Recommend.

Disappointing .We were there to celebrate a birthday, nothing was done or asked to how to make it special. Food was average , service was average and inattentive. The noise inside the restaurant was unacceptable, you could not hear or have a conversation within your own table. The manager should have addressed this . I had to ask what the specials were, they sent 3 pieces of bread to a table of 4, again i had to ask. For the price of what we spent, you would expect better service, attention to details and better ambience.

Honestly, the BEST FOOD I HAVE EATEN! Everything about this place is top notch from the ambience, the servers, and the food. If you ever have the chance to eat here, you have to!!!

Elegant setting and impeccable service. Attentive without being intrusive. The food is outstanding with much detail given to the preparation of each dish presented. A special experience for a special occasion. And their "special offers" are worth every dollar.

If you’re looking for a good steak dinner, go to Sullivan’s instead. I have been constantly disappointed with the food at The Palm, in general, but especially for the price point, and tonight was no exception. We did not get bread for the table. My dining companion ordered her steak medium and it was so rare, it might as well still have been out to pasture. The waiter agreed and took it back to the kitchen for more cook time, but for what we paid for dinner, I’d expect someone back there to know how to cook a damn steak. I ordered the seasonal salmon dish, and the shrimp risotto included with the dish had ZERO seasoning whatsoever. Not even salt. Might as well have been eating wallpaper paste. The asparagus side dish had the saddest looking, most discolored, limp excuses for asparagus I have ever seen. Charging these prices is bad enough, but charging them for this train wreck of a meal is pure highway robbery. I will not be returning to this restaurant that has been given its fair share of chances to redeem itself.

Everything was wonderful! We were celebrating a 50 year wedding anniversary and the team went above and beyond to make it extra special! Everything was delicious! Thank you!

We decide to visit since we had never gone. Unfortunately our Thanksgiving dinner was terrible. Why wife could not eat all her food and we both had to take activated charcoal because we got sick.

Food is really good here. It should get a 5 but one steak was over cooked. The half and half side dish was excellent. Wine list has some really good options, but the brand names are over priced. Ser ice was perft and they let you stay as long as you want.

Everything was awesome from the time we stepped in the door! The manager was very engaged. Food was great! We got calamari and the meatball for appetizers. I had fish husband had steak. Chocolate cake for dessert!

The atmosphere was romantic, service staff was impeccable, and the food was delicious!! We will be back soon!!

Today I made a reservation with Juan and he was very kind from the minute I called to the minute he greeted us when we got to the restaurant! Thank you Juan for being so kind! My waiter was Hanna, he was very polite, entertaining, and very respectful! Hanna thank you for recommending the tomahawk steak! It was absolutely delicious! We cannot wait to come back and see you so you could serve us! This restaurant is an absolute gem! The food was phenomenal. We will be coming back very soon.

My wife and another couple went to the Palm Restaurant on Saturday 11/5. We were celebrating an anniversary and two birthdays. The restaurant was busy but the staff seemed appropriately sized for the evening. Our meal was $545 + a $120 tip. This was mine and my wife's first time at the restaurant. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The food was not what I expected for a pricey restaurant. My wife and I ordered the porterhouse steak to share (36 oz at $149). The steak was ordered medium rare and was delivered to the table cooked about right. However, the steak was almost cool to the touch like it sat out for too long. We told the waiter and he took the steak back to the kitchen and where it was seared again. When it was returned, it was nice and hot but the overall quality was just ok. Not what I would expect for an expensive steak. The Tuscan beans should have been served with a slotted spoon otherwise you risked mixing bean juice with a steak. The waiter and another staff person did ask if we wanted to refresh our shareables and I thought that was a nice gesture given the delay in our steak. We declined and In lieu of that, the waiter brought two cheesecakes to the table. We had these boxed and ate them the following day. Again, for a pricey restaurant I would have expected a very delicious cheesecake but unfortunately it was not. All in all, the atmosphere was nice but I would have rather chosen another restaurant for the evening. Why a 1 star rating? I gave the restaurant a 1 star rating because there are so many choices in Charlotte for this price range. The food needs to be on point. There are so many restaurants at lower price points that kill it day in and day out, and I would be doing them a disservice if I gave any more stars. What a great Experience…We were there Monday 11/14 to celebrate a closing and had a wonderful time and the staff was Amazing including our server Kasey. The food was great and Will definitely be back

I’m a huge steak fan. I really enjoy the steaks at Jeffreys, Chillfire and the epic chop house. The steak here is on par with the epic chop house. Very fancy and expensive, yet highly worth it. Perfect place to celebrate. I recommend reserving a table as it can be quite difficult to get in.

Food was decent. Wasn’t bad, but the price point vs quality wasn’t worth it to me. My second attempt and I’m not impressed.

Mr. Joey's team delivers a very fine guest experience. I made a reservation on line and when arrived I was told it was for the bar section. Joey quickly read the confused look on my face and said "no problem" and quickly seated my wife and I. It was totally my mistake but Joey took care of us and personally seated us. Our server was the greatest attending to our every need without being pushy. As for years food, cooked to perfection as always. I don't often get back to my hometown but the Palm is like a trusted friend when I do. They never disappoint.
