My favorite Indian lunch spot in Uptown. 10 bucks worth of food is easily 2 meals if not 3. My normal go to is Vegetable Biryani with double Chicken Tikka Masala.

OMG. I haven’t had Curry Chicken since my General Manager wife made it for me while I was working in Asheville, NC and this place here was just like hers and so good and the spices were on point!! Yummmy 👍👍👍👍👍 I’ll definitely will be back for more.

The location is always a great stop for lunch. I have been there many time and see no reason I wont continue to do so. Only a few tables inside but a lot of other places don't have seating inside at all so the option is nice. The food is always good. I believe it is the same chain as the Aroma in Concord which is a more traditional table service restaurant where this one is counter service.

SEE EDIT:Generous portions, price is okay, food is mediocre. Staff is okay. I would say its a pretty average indian eatery compared to others. Some work could be done to improve customer service, a more friendly atmosphere, less oily food. If you get tea from them they pour half of a cup and say its full. You can do pretty well with the food Aroma, but you can improve in all other aspects. Edit, portions are not consistent as noted by picture. Food is still good but they really try to ration their food .

The food quality and taste is excellent for a buffet. There are plentiful options/dishes served daily to sample different flavors and combinations. I try to change up days of the week to get a good variety. The staff there are friendly and helpful with suggesting combinations. The portions are worth the price at $8-12 per box. Most people take food to-go since it's a business luncheon...that said, I've gotten there late (@130p) before and they were out of food, so they must be doing something right!

You get what you pay for here. Low price food and quality to follow. They have generous portions but the food tastes like it was prepared the night before (even two nights ago), froze/thawed to be presented at the counter for customers. The taste was OK, but it tasted like a friend's leftover dinner rather than something I would expect from a restaurant. The naan had the consistency of the grocery store freezer section naan you can microwave before eating (tried that once and regretted it), chewy, doughy and not crispy in the least. I would recommend this place to anyone on a budget for lunch who wants to have leftover dinner for lunch.

Though it serves a good variety of Indians cuisine, I don't feel good about the quality is rice they serve which feels to be commercially cooked to enhance the white color. They also serve Indian tea which is good quality but not consistent with taste.

I've only had the vegetarian options. Have visited Aroma twice for lunch, first time I got the daal, saag paneer, and rice/naan. Second time I got the tikka paneer and korma. Though the food is a bit bland, it is still satisfying and a quick option on this side of town. One order usually lasts two meals -- or can be shared easily between two people. Seating inside is minimal, but outdoor benches are available nearby.

A simple place for a fast lunch. It helps to find the right meal that they do not have much vatieties. BUT they have the best Mango- Lassi in Charlotte area. Price/quantity is ok.
