As I quietly obtained a seat at the bar and used my ears, it was apparent the staff worked as a team to ensure each customer respectively had attentive service while the enjoyment of their dining choices were fulfilled accurately. Libations we’re on the upscale selection which I feel matches their performance. This is a place to definitely visit to feel the experience of its culture. While I did not eat, every patron nodded their head in taste acceptance of their meal. Outdoor fire pit with comfort seating for conversation. Matt was the most respectful, knowledgeable and humble server I have encountered to date. I will enjoy the chef’s cuisine upon my next visit this week. Hands down some of the best food, vibes, and service in Charlotte. Our go-to spot for bringing out of town visitors and for special occasions. Never fails to impress we absolutely love this place. Strawberry shortcake and danish baby back ribs are to die for. Top shelf cocktails for good price.

I have never had a bad meal at this fine establishment. For an appetizer I recommend the smoked salmon. For entrees the meatloaf is amazing, along with the prime rib sandwich. For the best service make sure to sit around the bar at one of the tables because it's first come first serve and ask for Jacob.

131 Main has consistently proven itself to be an outstanding restaurant that never fails to deliver a remarkable dining experience. From the delectable food to the impressive drinks, this place is a true gem. To start, the old-fashioned drinks we ordered were strong and tasty. The trout dish I ordered exceeded all expectations. Cooked to absolute perfection, the trout was tender, flaky, and bursting with flavor. The real showstopper was the crab sauce that accompanied it. The combination of the succulent trout and the rich, creamy crab sauce was a match made in culinary heaven. It was undoubtedly the best trout I have ever had. The key lime pie was the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

Just moved to South Park. Outstanding food and exceptional service provided by Pierce. Entrées were the wreck fish and the marinated rib eye. Don't miss out on the grits and green beans sides. Can't wait to return.

The hubs and I have been dining at the 131 restaurant on Rea Road for years. We were near the Fairview location and decided to stop by and I’m glad we did. Not sure if both locations are owned by the same person or not, but this location was so much better than the Rea road location. We visited around 3:00 pm. The atmosphere was great and the service was awesome. Our server had several tables but our drinks were never empty and she made sure we constantly seen her. The food was delivered to our table in great timing. I must say that I’ve only ordered their cheeseburger and fries. When I want to order a great medium well cheeseburger, this is the place I go. It’s cooked to perfection. They never disappoint. The hubs always order something different. This time he had the Prime Rib sandwich with fries and raves about it. I also ordered their Garden Fresh Lemon Drop Cocktail and wished I had ordered another. The bartender made it just right. It was like “spring in your mouth.” Lol. I plan to visit again just for that drink! The menu is not a la carte as our fries or a side was offered with our sandwich/burger. There is an option to eat outside and even a place for friends to sit and talk around a fire. Anyway, great service, great food, and great atmosphere. It’s a regular go to for us and will continue to be. I highly recommend stopping by and trying!

We had the best experience at this restaurant. We came here to celebrate our first anniversary ❤️and I’m glad my husband and I chose this place for it , the food and the customer service fantastic. Our waitress was incredibly professional and that's super importan when you go to a restaurant . we will be back again and with friends for sure thank you guys

First time dining for a birthday occasion for my third Mommy’s bday. I’m a huge fan of crab so I had to try the crab cake (per recommendation). I would definitely recommend! The atmosphere is a vibe as well. Will be returning for a date night.

I ordered the Big Island Prime Rib and the meat was really fatty. I could not swallow my first bite. My husband tried a piece and he could not eat it either. The restaurant was nice and replaced my meal with the pasta dish. I ate a few bites but felt sick after trying the prime rib. I threw up my food as soon as I got home. I will not visit this restaurant again because the food quality was not up to par.

A great do-over for birthday #45 with lamb falling off the bone— and astoundingly great service. Beaming smiles and wholesome vibes filled with excitement and enthusiasm… That’s the schmood. The waitress was attentive, and well above the call of service… a ray of sunshine considering what we endured with the evacuation at the South Park mall moments before— fluttering nerves and high adrenaline🥹🥹 Our hostess at 131 Main calmed us, and soothes our spirits… a delightful upscale experience for sure❤️ I felt respected and appreciated🔥🔥🔥🔥

The best meal I have had during my stay in Charlotte. The service was good, and the food was phenomenal. I had the ribs, side salad with fries and green beans with a sweet tea. My meal was only $43 (tip not included. It was worth every penny!! Be sure to make a reservation or call aheas to make sure you can walkin. It's worth the trip!!

We had a 4-4.5/5 stars experience at 131 MAIN restaurant in Charlotte. We visited it on a Sunday for brunch when most other places were busy. They don’t have an extensive food menu, and I can see it working in their favour. They’ve some food items that aren’t on their menu, so you might want to ask about them if you’re visiting. The menu comprises of New American cuisine ranging from Alaskan Halibut to the Blackened Chicken Pasta. We got their cornbread which was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it. The Blackened Chicken Pasta was well-cooked too, and the broccoli made it even more flavourful. We also got their roasted chicken with the rice pilaf—we weren’t terribly impressed by the roasted chicken and the pilaf. Imagine 131 MAIN to be a fancy dining restaurant with better-than-average tasting dishes. I’m not sure if the higher price tag justifies it, but that’s how they portray themselves. The service was amazing—kind and polite servers who attended to our requests. The coffee was pretty good too. Parking is available outside.

I stopped in for dinner on a business trip. I tried the Cajun chicken pasta and added a wedge salad. The salad was amazing. The pasta was good but was a bit too spicy for me. I kept finding myself searching for the roasted chicken and not finding much. It was good, I just don't know I would order it again. The service was outstanding. I would highly recommend them on the service and salad alone.

First time dining at this establishment and I was very impressed. The service was exceptional as well as the food. The ambiance was very nice and I do look forward to dining here again!

I went for lunch and it was delicious. The strawberry shortcake was amazing and had a great crumb to it. The fries were also very good, good enough for two rounds of them. The sandwich I orders okay, a nice turkey club. I don’t know if they specifically have a pastry chef but if so the cornbread with hatch chili’s in it was amazing.

Wonderful scenery. food was wonderful, although I did order my burger medium and ended up coming out medium rare and that’s alittle bit of a difference. But I still found a way to enjoy the wonderful food I had in front of my. Definitely recommend 10/10. Prefect spot for a nice little date night.

Food & service were great. Ordered the Double Dip appetizer & Top Chop salad. Both were delicious but the salad was a bit pricey. Overall it was a good experience & will dine here again.

131 Main has been added to my favorites after just one visit. Every bite was delicious. All of the staff members were awesome, very nice people. The atmosphere was nice and laid-back. Great Overall Experience!
