I wish I could have given zero stars this is my first time I been to this restaurant which is a mile down from my home. I had a Salmon for the lunch which was pretty good. But coming to the service it was horrible the server kind of discriminated me for the fact that 90% of people who come to this place are locals she wasn't expecting me. I might be the first Indian American to be there I had sensed it at the very first moment itself instead of having lunch over there I should have left immediately since I came along with a friend I didn't wanted to disappoint her. When I asked something about a dish the server was so impatient in order to explain it to me. She was kind of throwing that attitude around me. This particular incident happened around 1: 30 PM. Coming to the description of the server she had a short hair looked more like Hispanic/ Asian. The other white blonde lady was good but not this server. I could see that she was checking every table in order to make sure everything was alright. When it comes to our table she didn't even care to refill my water even though she saw it. I had to call her and literally get my water refilled. When I told about this she didn't even gave her apology. We were even about to order some dessert and this server didn't even get the Menu she said I could read it myself. It seemed a bit lazy and laid back on her part she didn't seem to care. At the end when she was taking off my plate I still had my bread roll in that but she never asked me before taking of the plate. If you have such a prejudice against us only because I come from a different ethnicity background why don't like you put a sign saying that we don't welcome you in that way I would have avoided it. The food was great but not the sevice I would recommend you to hire a good server rather than this kind of server who was very mean and raical just because I am a guy of different color. I would request the Owner/ Manager to look into the video recordings and take it a bit seriously. I am hoping that you would respond to my review and take necessary course of action. Regards Kumar

They were so incredibly rude that we will NEVER return there. The older tall blonde lady came to our table and shouted that we went to the wrong table - a hostess seated us. She told us she wasn’t going to MAKE US MOVE, however, we were sitting in someone’s special booth. Then our food came, partially uncooked. It was a nightmare. Beware of Fenwicks!

Very cute little restaurant. The food was very good and great service! The picture is of the Carolina Chicken (pimento cheese/bacon), rice, & potato salad. Will be back!

This restaurant does not do breakfast/brunch. But it's posted on their website that they do have breakfast, their website also has pictures of breakfast being served. Completely false advertisement!!!! You need to change your website and remove the breakfast/brunch pictures OFF!!!! If you don't serve brunch/breakfast........

By far one of my favorite Charlotte staples. Been eating here for almost 30 years and the consistency is key! Great work as always.

Often overlooked. One of the best burgers in Charlotte. Fresh off the grill taste. The food is always fresh. Amazing service.

Very cozy and casual location with inside and outside seating. Small bar with can beers available. Food was great. I had the chicken salad croissant and I am pretty sure the croissant was freshly baked. Staff was super nice and the food came out amazingly fast! Definitely recommend.

I went to Fenwick's this past Saturday with 3 friends and we had a wonderful time. The waitress was wonderful, the food was delicious and lots of it, and the atmoshere was charming. I will definitely go back and look forward to it!

This place was very close to Presbyterian Hospital where I had a test. The test I had to fast, so when we arrived at the restaurant around 3:45, I had not eaten since the night before. My husband and I selected this restaurant to go to from Yelp. Oh my GOODNESS!!!!!!!! It was off the charts! I had a Steak Sandwich w/Handcut Fries. It came with lettuce, tomato cheese on top, condiments were Horseradish Sauce and I asked for additional mayo. My husband had a Chicken Plate which had Bacon on it, a side of cold Black Bean Salad and Hand Cut Fries.....we tried each other's too! This place is small, quaint, has indoor and outdoor seating. We ate inside and our staff was exceptional! Thank you Fenwick's! We both agreed, we will drive from Lincolnton, NC to Charlotte just to eat at your restaurant. So, see you next time!

We stumbled upon this place last night and it was nothing short of awesome. The staff and owner were truly gracious and they threw in a first-timers dessert! It’s like we ran into long-lost cousins. Truly gracious hosts. Food was great and the portions could have satisfied a small army. We have added this gem into the rotation. Can’t wait to try the po boys!

We're always on the hunt for really good neighborhood restaurants. You know, the friendly establishments that serve great food at reasonable prices. Well, Fenwick's has won our hearts (and stomachs). I went with the Fried shrimp, my wife went with the grilled chicken salad, and our daughter went with the Chicken Fenwick. The portions were generous, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable! Oh yes, the key lime pie is out of this world!! The only problem we had was deciding whether to go with a regular menu item or one of the several specials they offer every day. Fenwick's will now be one of our favorite stops whenever heading uptown!!

Found Fenwick’s as we were driving through Charlotte. We were promptly greeted by Mo and seated. She was an extremely attentive server who suggested the steak sandwich. The sandwich literally melted in my mouth! Huge portion as well! The mimosa was light and delicious. On the higher end as far as pricing but worth every penny! Just added to my favorites!

Good classic American cuisine, like you had growing up and going out to the local restaurant that's just nice enough for your dad to change his shirt. The trout was very good, and the collards were great as well, coming from a Western North Carolina boy. Cozy atmosphere, a bit cramped but worth it..

i went here before a trans siberian orchestra show with my parents when i was like 14. i dont remember it but im sure it was good. very christmasy kind of night.

The food was pretty good but a bit pricey for what you get. Everything seems to be handmade though so that was nice.

Love Fenwicks!! We are here visiting from CALIFORNIA and our experience and the FOOD was amazing!!!! Staff is A+++ awesome bread pudding and key lime pie WOW!

I absolutely love Fenwicks! Weekend brunch is hardy and delicious with a variety of drink specials. Burgers have a great chargrilled flavor and are cooked to perfection. Shrimp PO Boy is loaded with plump, juicy shrimp and the onion rings are light and crispy. Service is always spot on, food comes out fast and servers are very attentive. Parking can be tricky but is worth it.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the food is amazing!!! We were just passing through and stopped in for a late dinner. Everything is created in house and the specials sounded wonderful but instead we had perfectly grilled burgers, homemade fries and pie for dessert. Sometimes simplicity is all you need and this place does simplicity very well.

Really enjoyed the meal here. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. The dinner size was just right. Small dining area so I imagine it could get busy. The summer berry salad was very good. Nice menu section. I can see this as a friendly neighborhood dining spot.

I went to Fenwicks with friends about 20 years ago and had good memories. So when my husband and I drove by today we stopped in to have lunch. It’s a classic sandwich & sides, chef salad kind of place. The food came out quickly and was good for a simple lunch. I will say though, that the place always packed and we were the only people in there under 70.

Me and my husband found this humble gem while at Charlotte N.C for our vacation. This is like a diner style set up place, small little restaurant but with tasty and high food quality. Their fried oysters and Fenwick's steak (which I ordered medium rare and they cook it to perfection) are the best.

Great food. Great service. Great drinks. From Nebraska and we love our food! Can't wait to eat there again!
