Normally pretty good. I don’t know what happened but this isn’t right. This chicken has been cooking in old oil. It tastes like grease all the way through. I can’t eat anymore because I can taste that burnt oil. Take a look. It’s supposed to be lighter than this and the texture should be a pleasant crunch not crunchy crumble. Today is 27 May, 2022. I ordered wings. Teriyaki and lemon pepper. Well the original order was stolen. The second order was the wrong order. I ended up with plain breaded wings with Bleu cheese. Yuck!!! And by the way cold. I work uptown so it’s convenient for me, but when you don’t get what you pay for then I have a huge problem because now you saying give me your money and I’ll give you what I want you to have. I been going to hooters since the year 2001. Seems as though customer service is not a priority on their list anymore. Very bland. Rush job to make up for the stolen order. They didn’t pay attention to my original order. Like get him a order and send him along. I guess this is what being a loyal customer gets you.

Something is wrong at Hooters. On this evening we had cold food and service was just ok in an otherwise empty room. The wings were actually ok to eat. So there's some hope.

The food was good, service was a little slow but it was after a.major sporting event. Altogether pleasant experience.

Very slow service. We arrived around 9:45 and were seated around 10:30. We then waited around 20 mins for our appetizers. The wings were amazing and so were the apps. The waitress was kind and the overall the place was decent.

Definitely didn’t have the experience I normally have at hooters, service was terrible and unbelievable until we was saved by a very nice waitress that just started out on her own after training. The hostess was too busy on her phone texting with ear buds in her ears, she wouldn’t even seat us after we had stood in front of her for well over 30 minutes. The waitress had to seat people because the hostess wasn’t. After we got seated our service was pretty good

I’ve been here several times since 2020 and ever since then the quality has gone down… the food and drinks are mediocre. Get straight shots if you don’t want to be disappointed with an extremely watered down drink, or just get beer ! The food was not so great, shrimps were severely overcooked, the hot sauce was sweet. The food lacked overall flavor. The wedge fries and curly fries were fresh though. The service was slow but after getting our food service improved.

After returning to Charlotte after 10 years I decided to visit my favorite franchise restaurant. A location that I used to come to almost everyday. The service was terrible. I ordered my food and it took so long to come and when it finally came it was cold. Evidence that it had been sitting for a while. The waitress offer me some warmed of food to take for free but if I wanted microwave wings I could of went to food lion. No one appreciated my time nor money and I really didn’t appreciate the experience.

Very typical place and nice atmosphere. Really great chicken wings with a lot of choices regarding flavors and sauces. Boneless options available as well. The girl who assisted us was very kind and when she brought me non-boneless wings instead of the boneless ones for a mistake she gave us the wrong ones for free and served the right ones right back after a few minutes. Prices average for Charlotte, maybe a little less than than. Really recommended if you love chicken wings.

Food was very good for a chain restaurant, however the trip was ruined by our server (Lola) who was quiet disorganised and had a bit of a attitude. Food came out quite fast however on the menu it was advertised to have coleslaw and cocktail sauce did not come with either so we asked and it took 15 mins to bring sauce to me they said they didn’t do coleslaw but it was still on the menu. By the time I got the sauce my meal was over. On top of all of that when we asked for a fork she responded with “you want a fork” in a quite a condescending attitude. Food came out Luke warm but was very flavourful.

It took them about an hour to bring out our 18 wings and they were lukewarm at best, but they *were* able to feed us fairly late on a busy Friday night.

This is my second time ordering online and picking it up. I feel like I now need to check and verify the order while at the restaurant. Attached is a copy of what my order was SUPPOSED to be. Instead, we got the wrong sauces, wrong sides, and unseasoned cold fries.

Chill, laid back. Great service. Kamiah was really great and highly professional. She made sure my drink was full and made sure her surroundings was safe and comfortable. Thanks and bless

Trash. Hands down. I understand long waits, but this took the cake. Then the food came bland... cooked wrong... It's just terrible. The waitress was sweet. There is no reason to come here unless you plan to drink at the bar... which clearly was the focal point. The bartender decided to "chase" after me, thinking I left without paying when, in fact, my friends and I were paying. It's just terrible. They were more focused on us walking out instead of the say- 20 other people that came and left. Waiting for service. The hostess got an attitude with several people. (Which was disappointing seeing as she had respect and manners towards us.) It truly is a shxt show. The wait to be seated and get food. I was curious where the manager was seeing as we asked for one, and one never came. The appetizers were undercooked. We placed orders at 11pm our food came at 12:51. Yea, it's a waste of time and energy. HOWEVER- the server we had was kind and understanding of our disappointment. I have been to this location in the past, and it was AMAZING. Idk what happened. I hope that if I ever return, it is a different experience. To think this is in the heart of Charlotte - let's do a better job of showing folks a better experience. Food that was ok: Chicken tenders. All else failed. We had fish sandwiches, fried pickles, fries, and loaded tots, no bacon. Drinks came in dirty glasses.

Went to Hooters🦉 for dinner while in Uptown and it was pretty good but pricey. We order Buffalo shrimp, Hooter wings, and Funnel Fries! The wings are on the smaller side and are a breaded wing but were still tasty. The buffalo shrimp was very good and the Funnel fries came with a chocolate dipping sauce and was probably the best thing we ordered! They were delicious! Someone else ordered the loaded tots and they came with sour cream, bacon pieces and cheese on tots and it was pretty big. They accidentally made an extra and gave us that as well! Overall it was a fun time and decent food but we did spend around $60 just for what we ordered.(parties of 6 automatically get charged 18% gratuity) I would recommend but be prepared to pay uptown prices.

Absolutely worst service every, what is the point of a host of front if she just tells you to go sit wherever you like. Waited 45min and was never acknowledged by the wait staff. All of them on their phones, huddle up talking instead of helping, even one sit at table on a laptop. Politely tried call over a waitress multiple time and they completely ignore us. Never even got to order drink. I will never be back to this location.

they weren't very good. And for the price they cost, they are too small. very upset with food. to eat wings I recommend buffalo wings. But other food is great

Some of the worst service ever. Contemplated walking out multiple times and should have. Arrived when it wasn't even busy and was ignored while waiting to be seated. Staff was busy looking at their phones and vaping. After several minutes decided to sit at the bar since it was self seating. There was one bartender working and she was primarily focused on preparing drinks for tables. Waited another 20 minutes to order and an hour to get our food. By then the basketball game and soccer match got out and there was a long line out the door. The busier they got the worse and slower the service became. My 14 year old son stated "we are never going to a Hooters again, the food wasn't even that good". As we walked out I warned those waiting outside that they'd be there awhile because the service is terrible. We opted for this place only because we were dressed casual after leaving a swim meet, it was walking distance to the hotel, and it didn't have a 21+ age restriction. Ordering delivery to our room would have been better, faster, and more enjoyable.

Decent food great atmosphere and beautiful waitresses…..definitely will be coming back.Anissa was a great server

I work in the area and am always looking for a nice quick lunch, but Hooters on Trade Street is more of an experience. The two lovely ladies Thai and Asia are absolutely the best. Their service is quick and I’ve never met more kind and real human beings. They are the reason me and my friends at work return weekly.

I’d like to start by saying the main reason for leaving a 5 star is because Sarah, our waitress for the night. I take all of the boys in our family to a charlottes game as a Christmas tradition. After the game we always head to Hooters. When we entered we were barely greeted by 2 young ladies who were not interested in having us there. They explained that there short staffed which I understood and or party was to large. I told them to split us up in 2 but denied. The restaurant was not full on a Wednesday. We decided if they do not want us there then we’ll choose somewhere else. Out of no where as we were about to leave came Sarah to the rescue. She insisted on us staying and said she’d take care of us personally. We decided to stay. Our service was great. She made us feel welcomed and handled us perfectly. The food came out good and there were no issues. She is a star employee and deserves some recognition. All while the 2 original waitresses that greeted us sat by the front the whole time. Sarah completed our night and I am personally great til!!

The day I visited there was only one server working the entire restaurant and bar together. One. Thai did a fantastic job working 6+ tables and about 8 bar patrons. She said the manager was in the kitchen cooking because they were so short staffed. Thank you Thai for doing a great job! I have an idea @Hooters, how about pay your workers a fair wage. I was making $2.13/hr 25 years ago at @rubytuesday. I was shocked but not surprised that @Hooters is still paying the same rate. Please do more than $2.13.

Placed an order here when i visited Charlotte the night before we headed home and not only was the order not ready when we got there 30min after placing it but we waited 20 more mins just for one order of fries to be missing, i asked for all flats and paid the difference just to get drums and none of the wing flavors were correct ! We put in a big order over $100 and everyone got the same wing flavor because in my opinion it was easier for them to make that way. Also, wings barely had sauce on them and weren’t cooked long enough …. Didn’t have time before we left the next day to go back so basically just took the loss

We had to wait almost 10 minutes to be seated, then we had to wait like another 45 minutes to even get our food because of a "smoke break"! But the wait staff was immaculate and even tho it took a long time the food was great. What was lost in waiting was gained back by an exceptional team who did their best to create great individual guest experiences at every table! Next time I'm in Charlotte I will most definitely stop by again!

We ended up coming here because we were asked to leave Grand Bohemian hotel charlotte rooftop bar because we had sandals/ flip flops on but dressed nice. It was a blessing because we had a great experience, food and drinks with friends. The service was amazing, I think here name was Sarah.. she greeted our large group with open arms and we and a great party.

Staff was not friendly when we initially walked in. Had to stand right in the front of the hostess then get her attention because she was on her phone then proceed to ask her about seating or to go orders. The staff was very unprofessional, the hostess and a server began to have a photoshoot in the middle of the restaurant, with their cell phones. The kitchen got our to go order wrong twice. If you're looking for good food and good service this isn't the spot for you.
