Eclectic French bakery. I can only speak to the coffee, pumpkin tart and vegan Oreo tart but they were all delicious. The wait was a bit much probably about 30 minutes at 8am on a Sunday. Plenty to look at if you choose to dine there.

Amelie's was a great venue for our annual Sisters Tea. The atmosphere was perfect and accommodated all our attendees in the bottom seating area. My only issue was that the elevator was not operational on the day of our event and presented some challenges with accessibility. However, the staff stepped in and helped us tremendously for everyone to gain access to the venue space. The food was excellent 👌🏾 😋! Tarts, macaroons, tea cakes, sandwiches, brownies, cookies, and TEA 🍵 😋 👌🏾! I definitely recommend the chicken salad crossaint (mild and spicy), the lemon raspberry tarts, pecan tarts, apple strudel tarts, 6 cake macaroons, bread pudding, fruit tarts, and strawberry chiffon cakes! You will NOT be disappointed!

Such a fantastic place! I actually accidentally fell into this place and am so glad that I did!! It was a really awesome environment with creative art installations! The food was utterly delicious! The employees were awesome and friendly and involved! It was really cool to be able to watch the bakery making all their fabulous desserts!!! Service is fast, efficient and friendly! I would 100% endorse anyone wanting g to come here and eat an awesome breakfast/lunch! The desserts are beyond this world! I will be back 100%!

The Amelie’s French Bakery & Cafe had one of the best wall posters. The menu was huge and had varieties of option. After heavy dinner decided to go Amelie’s for few dessert as a friend recommended. Once entered, couldnt stop to entertain my eyes. The posters and interior was lovely. Rather than food, I was more into the interior filled with beautiful posters. The dessert to me were not up to expectation or my choices weren’t good, i guess but would love to try more of their items later.

Great atmosphere, great food. Since they reopened I have run over at opening almost every day I'm in the office for a cappuccino. All of the pastries are on point, my favorite being the apple tart, but they're all excellent examples of the craft. I've also stopped by for lunch a couple times and recommend the Chicken and Mushroom soup (bit salty, but they all are, really). I keep going back, and the self-control required to not fill a large box with pastries is Herculean.

Scrumptious selection of savory and sweet pastries. Huge interior with plenty of seating - the line moves very quickly and they've got a really efficient system to service everyone. Nice vibe and atmosphere to have a snack.

We enjoyed our breakfast at Amélie’s. The place is large with various types of seating. We saw the bar and To go options but dined at the location. The selections available were good. I enjoyed a croissant breakfast sandwich which can be assembled based on various choices. The orange juice seemed fresh and delicious. For a large open space is was not overly loud. Would go again.

Perfect location in downtown Charlotte. Close to the Convention Center and most hotels in the area. Great vibe, excellent service in a spacious place with unique decor. Excellent choice of bread, pastries and sandwiches. Great coffee as well. Fact is that I came back everyday during my 8 day stay in the area.

We loved the interiors at Amelie, it’s very eclectic, imaginative & fun! Perfect for a lunch date with friends or kids, quick drink or coffee & dessert stop. The sandwiches are a bit pricey but I think you are paying for the ambiance and their long standing reputation in Charlotte. The desserts were yummy. We loved the hazelnut torte.

This place is charming! I love all the different light fixtures and seating areas! It's big and roomy, yet cozy and quaint. The food is outstanding too. I had a double baked chocolate peanut butter croissant with a cafe au lait. Divine! Also took some macarons to go. Delicious!

Amélie’s has always been my favorite. Everything is very delicious and fresh. During the difficult fines we are facing, they are doing a good job staying open and serving customers the best way they can. I hope this beautiful place and other places will go back to normal.

Amazing enviroment. Their decoration was beautiful and unique. The servers were very nice and kind. They had many pastries and tastes were amazing too. Try their ice coffee too, it is sooo delicious.

A cute little cafe with okay pastries and drinks. Perhaps we went later in the day so we felt the bread for the eclair was too soft and the chocolate and espresso taste was not strong enough, so I would skip the eclairs. The tarts and the drinks were alright, but not anything special. Overall, I really like the vibes and the decorations here are cute, the food is pretty affordable but could be better for the price point.

I’m glad they opened the downtown location again. This is always an interesting place to visit. They have great little pastries. I have not been overly impressed with the heavy foods like lunch or dinner items. But as a bakery they are great. This is a great place to come hang out have some food and drink so tea and coffee

Very nice people, very beatiful place based on French, loved my cinnamon roll, lovely environment. Staff were amazingly nice. My 1st time here, came from Raleigh to try it. Loved it, thank you guys

Walked by on our way to the market; only here 2 days. The bakery caught our eye so we knew we’d stop on the way back. Such a sweet staff, delicious treats and cute atmosphere. Our trip to Charlotte has been amazing and this place made it even sweeter💎
