This place is so affordable, you can't go wrong trying many of the different items on the big menu. My only complaint is the menu board doesn't describe some things like the "lazy" vs. the "crazy" burrito, but the cashier was enthusiastic about describing them, even during a busy lunch rush. (Sorry, can't remember the details, because I didn't end up getting either, but like I said, with prices $3-9, I may try them another time!) The food was fast and good. Seems like a criteria for hire is having a smooth "announcer voice" to call names as the orders are ready. The tacos are pretty meaty, and the eggs in huevos con chorizo help cut the saltiness of the chorizo sausage.

The best lunch place in all of Charlotte to get quick and delicious Mexican. Go check it out if you haven’t! Very affordable and amazing service.

Ordered the shredded chicken and even though it had lots of peppers and onions it still lacked any flavor at all, just threw it away. It's also very warm inside if you decide to eat there and it wasn't even crowded. Hate to give 1 star for the food but when I have to throw my money away it's a warning to others...

100% recommend this place. It is hands down the best Mexican grill in Charlotte. The food was super delicious, prices were reasonable, and the service was wonderful. Adding this to my weekly lunch spot. My husband got the tacos and they were perfection. My enchilada was absolutely delightful and had tons of flavor. Can't wait to come again and try other items on the menu!!!

Delicious food at a reasonable price. Best Mexican food I ever had, keep coming for more every week with my co workers. Friendly staff. This place can get crowded at lunch time but they are quick to get your food ready. (Picture is Special Nachos: nachos, ground beef, guacamole, tomatoes, sour cream, queso)

My first time to Anita’s Mexican Grill for lunch. Got 2 taco’s - Carnitas and satisfied my taco craving.

I was running errands and wanted to grab a quick bite, and happened to see Anita's show up as a restaurant that was close by. I decided to give them a try and I am soooo glad I did! The employees were positive and attentive, and the food was delicious! I saw a couple other orders, and each dish looked better than the last... I will definitely visit again!

The food is amazing!! We get the chicken tortilla soup and the steak nachos.....there is enough in each for two people to share. Get there early because that line gets long fast, but they get you through it super fast!

I just want to start off by saying that the employees were phenomenal. I'm not sure about the other protein options, but the shedded chicken was very bland, and a bit tough to chew. I probably should have gotten the grilled chicken. The staff being kind and friendly was very refreshing.

This review is based on my first visit and my first impression was Anita's is a small place that's a little too crowded. after being there a few minutes I realized the line was moving really fast and the staff was exceptionally friendly. I had a hard shell beef taco and the grilled chicken Street taco, both were served hot huge and delicious, now I understand exactly why it was crowded. I'm looking forward to returning soon to explore more of their menu. It's a great place for a quick delicious lunch.

Very busy, which is a good sign. Had a chicken quesadilla, chicken enchilada, and a cheese enchilada. The chicken enchilada was good. The sauce and meat blended very well. Loved it. The chicken quesadilla was so-so, and the the cheese enchilada was not very good at all. While I do like the type of cheese they use, it was not a good choice for an enchilada and I ended up throwing it out along with about half the quesadilla. I suspect they have some other good offerings as the place was busy as all get out, but mine did not meet the bar that day.

I love Anita's, and I will shout it from on top of a mountain. Don't believe me... Take a chance. The only downside is that they don't stay open later like for dinner. The earlier you get there the better because the get PACKED QUICK!!!

Small place but the food is great and the tacos are huge. Valentina hot sauce on the table already is a win for me. Chips and salsa were great as well. Will return!

Seriously the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The portions are huge, I get full off two tacos bc they’re so packed with meat. My only complaint is I wish they had more accommodating hours. Don’t sleep on this place. Excellent service, excellent food.

Excellent food, generous portions, and great service. Highly recommend the carnitas and grilled chicken in particular. The restaurant itself is a little small so not great for larger groups. Parking can also be a challenge as there are not a lot of spaces and multiple businesses on site. I have been multiple times for lunch and they have always been busy, but they are very efficient so the line moves quickly and I've never had to wait long for my food.

Enjoyed my meal at Anita's. Had the number one Chile relleno, taco, and rice. Carne asada taco was yummy. Good Mexican food.

Not sure the name of soup .. but OMGoodness. Delicious. I have to blend everything for awhile due to mouth surgery.. but it sure is the best ! Even gave my 92 year old dad ( he’s picky and loved it ! ) I’ll definitely recommend to anyone that has to blend ! I’ll try to add pictures !

Food is Fantastic! Had the Steak Taco and it was full and falling out the sides! Chicken quesadilla was incredible with the Queso they have on the side! Only complaint if you wanna call it that is it is only open for short time each day around Lunch.

This place may be busy but they move incredibly fast and great amount of food & TASTY. This is a naked burrito. Will be back for more

I had never been here before but the staff is amazing! Super friendly and they are very generous on their portions. The tacos are huge and packed full of meat and veggies. The prices are so reasonable and I’d come back here again and again!!!!

I had the fries loaded with questions cheese and chorizo. It's was great. The tacos were good. The service was not great. I sat at the bar . I would think being in their face it would be easy. They were more interested in texting and talking about after work things.
