I stopped in after a day of traveling at the recommendation of the check-in Lady at Hampton Inn Suites. I was seated at the bar since I had no reservation, but Diane gave me great service. I had the 24+ day, wet aged ribeye and some pan seared scallops along with mushrooms and broccoli smothered in hollandaise sauce. This chef likes to let the food speak for itself- not a bunch of seasonings. Very good. If you found this review helpful please click like.

Beef N' Bottle has been a family tradition since 1990. My family would take us there as our "Special Occasion" place to go & celebrate Achievements & Birthday's. Moving forward 32 years.... Well, it's still mine, and my families place to go for the exact same reasons. Traditions are hard to come by anymore, and I am proud to share ALL my wonderful experiences with everyone I love and know! I love the fact they will make anything you want to happen...HAPPEN!! All the delicious food that is served hot, comes out piping hot! It's not sitting under some lamp waiting to be brought to your table. The service has always been custom to the table. I hope they don't mind me sharing that you can bring your own bottle of wine for a cork fee, and a delicious dessert for your Birthday! German Chocolate!! I LOVE that!!! We will continue to celebrate, for hopefully another 32 years!

The first time at this restaurant 😋 heard it is the best steak house in Charlotte, and that's not no lie. The food was amazing. No doggy b ag needed. The service was excellent. We enjoyed our dining experience. Our 28th Anniversary dinner 🥂

My family has raved about Beef ‘N Bottle for years, and I finally got the chance to go the other night. I now know why they rave about it, and why it can be so hard to get a reservation there. Holy cow was it good. From the outside it looks like an average steakhouse. The inside is filled with western memorabilia. The staff was wonderful. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave us the best recommendations. I had the best steak I’ve ever had. My filet was perfectly tender and had wonderful flavor. The crab meat and hollandaise sauce on top made it all the better. Their house blue cheese dressing for the salad was to die for. If it wasn’t so bad for me, I would drink it. The creamed spinach was decadent. For dessert, I had the creme brûlée cheesecake and I will certainly be dreaming about it for weeks to come. I cannot wait to come back here.

The atmosphere was as classic and the steaks as wonderful as I had heard. Our server was funny and interesting talking about the history of the restaurant and everything that makes it special. If you have a chance to go, don't miss it.

This is the most overrated restaurant I have ever been to. When my friend first moved to Charlotte it was highly recommended so we tried it. It was awful. We ordered different cuts of steak and they were the worst steaks either of us had ever had. We continue to hear what a great place this is so decided we must have gone on an off night and gave it another chance. It was slightly better than last time. When you're paying $100 per head (with one glass of wine each) you don't expect packaged crackers and a blob of processed cheese on the table. The filet was good, the prime rib was OK and NY strip was downright tough. Our server Alex (?) was great but we won't be back.

This was definitely an interesting experience. Even midweek this place was packed, good thing we had reservations. It was very loud inside and the twinkle lights were odd. The booths were not in any way what I expected. But the food was good! Our server was very nice but the service overall was slow. I would get the Cajun crab dip, filet mignon, and fried potatoes on a future visit.

Whoaaa… possibly one of the best filet mignon‘s I’ve had ever. The service was fantastic. Loved the ambience- Super chill. Fabulous extra dirty martinis with homemade blue cheese stuffed olives. Where do I begin- Wedge salad, homemade blue cheese dressing- fantastic. French onion soup was amazing. The cheese was absolutely perfect- the broth was delicious. My steak really was one of the best I’ve had in Charlotte so far. It was rare, I’m sorry, but it was delicious with horseradish crust. Onion rings were super crispy and mac & cheese was saucy and cheesy. My friend had the creamed spinach- it was outrageous. I had the peanut butter pie for dessert. She had the apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. The ice cream tasted like a Cinnabon. Unreal. Can’t wait to go back.

When you walk in you can smell the "old". The walls are covered with famous people's pictures some autographed and vintage decor. Looks like the place hasn't been updated since it opened. It's also pretty dark. The tables are candlelit. It's adds to the ambience! And the food! Omg! It's was worth every bite and penny for my Prime Rib and shrimp scampi! We ordered the Spanish dip appetizer. All you could really do is keep eating. Very crowded and loud. It was a Monday. It was hard to hear most of the staff when they spoke to you. Our server was quiet hard to understand. He did a whole 1 min monologue and understood about 8 words. he was attentive and nice.

I was told the food at this restaurant was amazing....I am still waiting to be amazed. Not sure what was supposed to be good or amazing about the food but I did not have it nor what I tasted off my husband plate was amazing. Although he loved it and recommended the restaurant. I would not go back nor would I recommend. The food was alright (and that's being nice)....definitely not worth the prices.

Had date night here! What a great hidden jem in Charlotte. I would say the entire city needs to come here and have dinner. The place is a low lighted great atmosphere destination. And a must for all that like Great food and Service! We had the BBQ shrimp as well as the Escargot for appetizers. Tasted great! For dinner we had the Crab cake and the 10oz Filet! It was so good could not eat it all but I wanted to. Dave the waiter never rushed us let us enjoy the time to eat and just relax!! I would say that this is one of the better places Charlotte has to offer. The place could use a little $ spent on refurbishing it was a little worn-out due to the place being busy all the time. But other than that. It's a Win for anyone that likes to make a memorable evening! Tell them Brian Sent Ya!! when you Go!

Birthday Rip Off I chose Beef and Bottle for my birthday dinner, boy did I make a mistake! I thought it was a good place; we came here for our anniversary and everything was perfect, but tonight was a total rip off. The shrimp cocktail and the French onion soup delivered, but the steaks were terrible. I ordered mine medium and got medium rare. Sent it back for more cook, but it came back still medium rare. I couldn’t eat it so I brought it home to cook in the oven. My sister in law’s was supposed to be medium rare and she got rare, but ate hers. My husband ordered medium well and got well done. Service was okay before our steaks arrived, but after she brought mine back for its second cook, she disappeared. We didn’t even ask to speak to the manager because we’d read reviews that said they don’t seem to care. For a $155 meal that struck out, I don’t think we’ll go back.

Legendary. Instant classic. Oozes authenticity, can’t believe it took me so long to finally make it here. Service, food, vibes, are 10/10. The atmosphere puts you immediately at ease. Was told this place holds the oldest liquor license in North Carolina. Pork belly is unreal. Shoutout to our server Scott for an incredible evening.

This restaurant never disappoints. The food is fantastic, the service is very good and the atmosphere is totally groovy. The prime rib was just perfect. The cocktail sauce for the shrimp cocktail has a lot of horseradish and will definitely get your attention.

This is the best steak restaurant in Charlotte and has been for many years. The building is old and original. Do not let looks deceive you. this is part of the mist eke with old client photos and history of how long the Beef and Bottle has been around. The service, staff and food is nothing short of excellent. Don't miss out on a shrimp cocktails, the horse radish sauce will bite you back. We have make this our go to place for special occasions or when we just want to splurge a little. We will be back soon.

Absolutely LOVE this place. Ambiance and history, paired with the BEST steaks hands down. Not to mention the homemade dressings and soft Wisconsin cheese. Amazing!

Outstanding dinner with a superb waiter. Scott took great care of us, including double checking on ingredients because one of our party has severe food allergies. Start to finish, everything was top notch. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items!

One of the best steak-houses in Charlotte. They always get the streak temp correct (Steak 48 can only dream of doing this) and the food is very good. We had Jerome as our server during our last time and he was super nice. The owner/manager greeted us on the way out and was super nice as well. Also, I love the ambiance inside the main part of the restaurant. Definitely recommend if you're in Charlotte.

Victor was our server & made the dining experience all the better. We had the medallion filets & prime rib. Both cooked & presented excellent. The peanut butter pie was decadent!

What an awesome place. It’s impossible to get a reservation so I sat in the bar area and Diane was amazing. The food was perfect. I’m not here often for work, but will be back every time when I am here. Thank you!

Staple in Charlotte. Amazing dining experience. Service was great. Escargot and shrimp cocktail were fantastic. Best cocktail sauce I've ever had! The Filet was absolutely top notch. The horseradish crusting on it set it off. Can not wait to return.

Had an amazing date night at Beef N’ Bottle. We’ve heard a lot about this place, but have never been. We were floored that this old looking establishment could turn out so much amazing food!!! Trust me, the filet & shrimp cocktail are on point!!!

👍👍 Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good. But my spouse ordered an avocado toast and it lacked flavor. Also, the coffee was legit; really good! Also ordere...
