Unfortunately, this is probably my last time coming here. Not because of the store itself, but the people that hang around outside of it. The food itself is just okay. When I walked out of here today, immediately a black man in a loud voice tried to get my attention and followed me until I turned around to address him. As a black man, I can say this. We (black men) need to do better. Stop standing around uptown at the transportation center hunting people down for money. Have some pride and shame. This happens every time I go to the transportation center for lunch. Something needs to be done about the constant all-day loitering. Safety is a major concern of mine, so for my safety I will no longer go to China Shuttle, Burger King, or the Bojangles.

0 out of 5 stars The food is horrific and the black lady who works at the front acts like she doesn’t want to be there. Several of my kids and I went to this establishment Saturday , all I received was attitude. The price on the board and total price are two different prices a 7 dollar meal ends up being 8 dollars. My kids and I sat down to try to enjoy our meal , hard and dry and almost broke my dentures. I then asked for a refund in which she acted hesitant to give I spent a lot of money and very easily could’ve been a regular. I guess the first sign should’ve been lack of business being it was me and only about 4 other guest who seemed to be regulars. The second sign should’ve been these reviews. I was going to complain in the store but after reading these reviews I figured the manager had just the same attitude. Save your money don’t eat here if your life depended on it the sesame chicken is harder than 1999.

The food isn't the best, but it's aaccessible. Customer service always been great, but today I felt my heart crumble hearing a conversation between management and two of the cashiers I've read previous reviews stating they're actually sisters. From what I could hear the youngest sister hours was cut over something she had no control over, however she handled the situation the best she possibly could. Let me add a side note this sister is the absolute best she will always have a smile on her face and give you a warm greeting in my opinion she's way too good for this place anyway. Today I got to see how great she actually is her sister made the comment along the line of "it's not fair you have to wear the consequences of something that literally had nothing to do with you" the little one looks her in her eyes and says "maybe it's not fair but life goes on I don't want you to worry because it's life and better opportunity comes" this girl could've quit walked out and never looked back could've flipped the script but she didn't and I just wanted to hug her because despite everything she kept her composure. She's always been slow to anger and swift to speak literally the best this business could have and it would be a total lost if they lose her because they defiantly will not get another her. She comes with so much positive energy that bad energy can't touch her. Watched her get cursed out by customers because they couldn't get their way the cooks inside the restaurant because they're lazy and don't want to do there job but she always breath deeply and not let anything phase her. I pray she finds a business that appreciates her ambition.

My food was good not great but you have to feel for the people working here. No way could I have had the patience the man behind the counter had. Low lifes trying to get over, indecisiveness holding up the line, people ordering food and then not having enough money to pay expecting a freebie or asking everybody for a dollar and some change. Just out right stupity going on. Not a great location to do business.

I came and dinned in sometime this past October. The location isn't the greatest, with all the dealing and homelessness in the area, one can only hope the owners of the restaurant don't view everyone as the ppl in their surroundings. So I ordered the spicy chicken, the General Tso's chicken, and the vegetable lo mien. The General's chicken never fails me. It was tender with a bit of sweetness that reminded me of home in NYC. I give the General 3.5 stars. As for the spicy chicken, I didn't really get the full experience because I mixed it with the General's chicken, but when I did have the chance to taste one for the solo, it bearly made the 3rd star. It was playing limbo with the 3rd star and broke even. It lacked the type of flavor I need to rate it any higher than that. 3 stars on the spicy chicken. Lo mien was okay, nothing to brag about but was decent, though i didn't finish it. Lo mien also gets 3 stars. Last but not least was the egg roll. With a light buttery crust and flakey shell, the egg roll became the unexpected feature in this meal. It was packed with flavor, not runny or messy, just right. Egg roll = 4 stars. So there you are folks 4 + 3.5 + 3 + 3 /4 = 3.3 stars. Check out my food review channel at Jason Lee TVee on Youtube. Peace.

I have been going here for years because it's quick if not many people in line. My average is 3 to 4 mns and I am out with my pick up. The food is sometimes good and sometimes not so good. That goes for the service as well. I walk away or buy from them based on atmosphere inside restaurant, line lenght, and who is over the restaurant at that time of day as other peoples reviews reflect similar expierences. The price is always affordable for uptown area but keep in mind it is located in the transit bus terminal. This place could be a cash goldmine if it was serviced well like a Chick Fila franchise. Maybe by offering monthly traffic bonus to employees for motivation to improve.

Had the bourbon chicken, sesame chicken, rice, wings & egg roll with a sweet tea. Best sesame chicken & best wings I've had in Charlotte! Wasn't really wowed about the bourbon chicken, but the guy working gave me some more sesame chicken in place of it. The egg rolls were good! Crispy on the outside, flavored on the inside. Tea was great as well. Left with another bag of wings. Will be back!

The food is superb like some of the best Chinese I've had in a while. The area is full of panhandlers and loiters. Homeless people and addicts everywhere but the police walk constantly so I believe it's guarded well. I love the staff. I eat here almost daily! No kidding! Give them a try.

I love this place! The people are nice and smiling, the portions are huge, and the prices are right! Great food! There is, of course, the issue of location. It's on the edge of the uptown transit center, which can definitely be sketch. But if you happen to be taking the bus and on your way home or to work, please don't miss this place. Or if you're wandering around in uptown and you don't feel like anything from the Halal food truck (but the smells! the smiling, handsome men! the amazing lamb and chicken over rice!), grab some wings, bourbon chicken or one of their other delicious entrées, lo mein or rice, and an egg or spring roll. This is truly some of the best food I've had and I'm not even normally a Chinese food fan.
