The food here is excellent! I was lucky enough to get to sample a variety of dishes here at Heirloom and the food is fantastic. ***See images for all items we tried. Stand out was the Confi Duck. Super crispy and tender. I also loved the Coffee rice pudding dessert. Rich and creamy. Chefs are great with speciality diets. Many items can be made gluten free on request -- even the fried chicken and pickles! Also, it was nice to sit outside now that things are opening up. I highly recommend their porch area when the weather is nice.

I wanted this to be better but it was lacking. I would give the cocktails another star, but the food wasn’t up to the quality I expected for this price. The service was good but not great. The food was also good but not great. The charcuterie came out with extra crispy toast that we sent back. I would come here for a cocktail and some fresh bread with honey butter and be happy.

Very disappointing experience. We arrived at 5:00 when they open and the hostess seated us at the bar even though we asked twice if we could sit at a table in the empty dining room. Granted we did not make a reservation, we finished eating and left before the dining room was even halfway full, with open tables in our direct view (photo added below), so we could have been sat at a table the entire time. Furthermore, the Nut-crusted Chicken Breast entrée was bland and underwhelming. However, the Crab Rangoon appetizer was delicious, and the Curry Arancini entrée was tasty. To add, we were delighted with the bartender, Jessie, but unfortunately, the issues we had at this establishment outweighed the great service we received from him. It is important to mention that my partner is a person of color and she felt discriminated against by the hostess, ruining our Saturday evening.

I hosted my daughters bridal shower at Heirloom on 1/13/24. They did an amazing job from the start when I contacted David to start planning, to menu selection and all of the fine details. Chef Chris Davis did an outstanding job executing an upscale authentic Italian menu. The staff were terrific , on point and attentive. Everything was delicious and so well received by my guests, even the Italian New Yorkers approved! My entire experience was easy, seamless, fun and delicious. Thanks!

Have you stopped by Heirloom's grand re-opening ? If your bartender isn't giving machine gun Kelly vibes please get with the times . Chad is one of many of the best bartenders here in the Qc. You can't miss him at the bar for he simply stands out & curating some cool cocktails to go along with the look . The devil is in the detail . One thing about me is I'm always going to find something that stands out in an establishment, check out the bee hive wall towards the back . What's a dinner without a good charcuterie board right ? Every dish we tried was very succulent & the fish did something to my tastebuds I didn't even know was possible . Heirloom passes the vibe check , the cocktails here are amazing & that fish was to die for .

We did the Chef's tasting, next we would choose our own items. The tasting was OK but there were several items that were not really done well. The beef tip was fatty, corn chowder could have had more corn flavor, and the chicken sausage and rice was lack luster. The ambience was nice, wait staff attentive and wine pairings were good. Our mistake was not asking what the chef's menu was and letting them surprise us.

We went for our wedding anniversary. All of the food is from local farms. Therefore, every bite was with great quality and extremely fresh. The atmosphere and staff were more than delightful. They personalized our menus which had "Happy Anniversary" written at the top. We decided to do the "Chefs Tasting Menu" which allows you to have a 6 course tasting meal based according to your preference. This worked great for us because I don't eat eggs and my husband only eats Kosher. They were able to accommodate us without a problem. Our waiter was friendly and fun. Talking with him felt like talking with an old friend. I can't remember his name but he was from New York and African-American. This was a great experience. The presentation of the food was 1st class and we will visit again. We came across this place from Groupon but will continue to visit because of it's pure excellence.

Heirloom lives up to its promises. Everything we had was homemade, including the lovely bread and rolls. The wine menu is fantastic, and the bar is, by itself, worth the visit. We will definitely be returning to try out the tasting menu (requires a 24 hour reservation). Lovey place and atmosphere.

Absolutely divine meal! We enjoyed the Spring dinner menu- especially the charcuterie board! Can't believe we're lucky enough to have this amazing restaurant here in Belmont.

Absolutely fantastic experience, chad...our bartender was excellent, cocktails are made by a true mixologist, fresh caught fish was amazing and honestly the ambience was perfect for a nice quiet rainy wednsday or any other day to get away with a nice farm to table dinner and pure cocktails that use natural ingredients, 10 out of 10 will recommend everytime.

What an incredible dining experience at Heirloom! We were welcomed by every staff member who introduced themselves by name and were so attentive throughout our evening, especially the manager who stopped at every table, connecting and ensuring guests’ needs were met. The restaurant interior design is smart, modern, and hip with brass & pipe fixtures and a beautiful motif of honeycomb wall tiles and bees, which we learned they keep nearby to provide the tastiest honey (the warm rolls with honey butter and sea salt are not to be missed!). We ordered four starters from the new fall Asian inspired menu also demonstrated high degree of attention to taste and presentation! The pork belly was tangy, sweet, crunchy and well presented; the foraged mushroom soup creamy and perfectly balanced. We ordered the pork chop (which was as large as a tomahawk steak) was perfectly cooked and juicy, the duck (served medium rare was tender, juicy) and the Amber Jack fish, which was flaky and tasty! An innovative menu with farm to table freshness evident in every bite. We were so fortunate the chef came out to visit us, which really added a personal touch to our dining experience. Thank you for a great evening!

Heirloom is a fantastic place and very fine dining in Belmont. I have been here several times and every time I was pleased that I chose them. The people are friendly and professional. Service is amazing, so is the food of course. They have great option for plant based meals. A must place to visit for vegan folks and any visitors or residents.

My wife and I visited this establishment and it was incredible. David (it’s been a few days but I believe that was the waiters name on the 25) took extremely good care of us. His recommendations were on point. Excellent attention to our needs and funny/witty to boot. The bartender made some excellent house old fashions and overall it was a truly exceptional experience. Best pork chop I’ve had in years. If I’m ever in Charlotte again I will be visiting heirloom again.

Heirloom’s attention to detail, quality, and sustainability sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. You will not be able to find a better meal in or around Charlotte guaranteed. The menu changes frequently not only to keep things new and exciting, but also adapts to the availability of the freshest ingredients to provide a Michelin level of quality. The wait staff is very attentive and knows the fine details of where the food comes from and how the dishes are prepared. Pictured here is the Red Drum and risotto with mushrooms and a delicious sauce. I would highly recommend this dish and the jalapeño appetizer. All in all, well done!

A chef driven experience in a relaxed atmosphere right in central Belmont. We chose to share various plates, each with distinctive flavors and unique presentations. Exceptional service from a local with wonderful insight into the menu and preparations. Comparatively speaking, a very reasonable check as well:)

I made a reservation for 7:15 almost a week in advance and showed up roughly 5 minutes early with my date (party of two). We weren't seated until 45 minutes later. What was disappointing was other parties of two kept arriving and getting seated before us even though their reservation time was the same or even later (a 7:30 reservation arrived and was seated before us). After being seated, our service was excellent but the food was honestly disappointing. The bao buns were good but I've had equivalent from a food truck. The chicken that my date had was very tender but somewhat bland. The vegan crab cakes were good but they fell short of their price point. The snap peas were undercooked and actually had a sharp texture to then. The creme brulee was fantastic and very delicious. Overall, for $109 for two people to eat without any alcohol for a pretty average meal was disappointing. I had much higher hopes for this restaurant. Perhaps since the food is all regionally sourced, that limits what ingredients can be used in each meal, but I felt the overall result was underwhelming. For the price point, I think your money goes much further elsewhere even just up the street at String Bean.

Although it is outside of Charlotte, it is one of the better restaurants in the area. Chef combines influences from all over the world, especially including some tangy and spicy flavors from Asia with those from the south of the United States. At the end it was a very lovely evening With great service and I would go back again

We celebrated my birthday with 12 family and friends, and had great service, wonderful food and friendly atmosphere. The staff was so accommodating and made sure everyone was taken care of.. would highly recommend.

They catered a party for our Lake Norman vacation. Professional and exceptionally tasty!!! The salmon was fantastic but the Harissa chicken was epic!! Whole family enjoyed everything. Their crew set it all up and cleaned it all up. No work, all fun.

We came here with another family and it was truly a treasured experience. Chad was our waiter and he was incredible. He helped us navigate through the menu and I ended up getting the fish of the day which was snapper. This is the best fish of ever had in my life, and the entire experience will be one that I treasure for a long time. Definitely can’t wait to come back. My wife had the honey behave cocktail and it was one of the best gin cocktails I’ve ever had.

Absolutely delicious meal from beginning to end!! They just released fall menu featuring locally grown seasonal vegetables, cheeses and meats. Appetizer was apple curry butternut squash and the most incredible burrata dish with genius textures of fried eggplant and crisp kale. Divine! Main course for me was duck breast with carrot purée , puffed farro and seasonal greens. Husband had crawfish pasta. Both were perfectly seasoned and the combination of textures and flavors were magnificent. Will definitely be back and hope you’ll go too to support this true gem in Belmont!!!

Absolutely amazing service and the food was exceptional! We stopped in for a midweek date night while visiting family for the holidays and we will certainly be back next time we’re in town. I’ll be recommending Heirloom to all my family and friends in the area!

Nice place, service was great. Entree was very dull for the price. For desert, I had the flan which was really good! Cocktails were on point. 3 stars for improvement, maybe some daring dishes wouldn't hurt to try.
