Great quick Airport Breakfast!! Charlotte Airport is lucky to have such a good restaurant in its lineup such as Brookwood Farms! Very friendly welcoming staff, lightning quick service and the food is wonderful. I got the big country breakfast for $14.99 and it certainly hit the spot. Eggs, Biscuit, smoked sausage, and oatmeal. Delicious! Located in the food court

Late lunch / early dinner before a flight home. For airport food, I have to admit that the food was decent. I got the 2-meat platter (pulled pork and shredded chicken topped with bbq sauce) with coleslaw, green beans, and hush puppies. The pulled pork was great (nice and moist). The chicken was just okay. The coleslaw was great, and the green beans were marginal. I wish I had gotten the collard greens instead of the green beans. I try not to eat fried stuff and especially not fried bread, but the hush puppies were great. All-in-all, 4 stars for airport food.

Stopped for lunch before a flight and our family of 4 ahared the 3 meat platter. We had the chicken, brisket and pulled pork with the greens and mac and cheese. I thought it was a great BBQ meal for an airport restaurant. The meat was succulent and the sauce was paired with it nicely. Topped it off with a tasty slice of pecan pie. Recommended!

One worst run BBQ joints in state NC! Place is CONSTANTLY out of everything (including but not limited to BBQ and even BBQ sauce) and service horrible too. What they have mastered is hiring incredibly rude associates who literally could give two figs and rude as H to customers. Lady in front of me asked server, what do you recommend? Guy working, no clue - I would never eat at this place. LOL. Talk about hole, highly DO NOT recommend this dive.

Great airport food! We had a long layover and wanted to try local food. We had never been to NC so Carolina BBQ sounded good. We got the beef brisket platter with fried pickle, hush puppies and two sides. It was very good! The people were nice and everything looked clean. Great experience. We will be back!

I should have turned away when I got in line and couldn't see a menu. Nothing displayed as choices of what I could order... got up to counter and lady was extremely rude "what you want?" Never been here, so didn't know what all comes together. She kept getting upset at me. Got a platter with pulled pork, mash potatoes, fries, and a biscuit. Slide down to pay by telling another lady what I ordered and she said $20! That isn't including a drink. A small amount of food for $20! Then sit down to eat it and it's terrible. Worst pulled pork I've ever had. Fries cold and soggy. Biscuit dry. Best part was mashed potatoes. So gross. Don't waste your money!!!

The pulled pork was ok, but it had been stewing for a while and that had sapped out much of the texture and taste. The hush puppy and the coleslaw were the stars of the plate, and both pretty excellent by an airport standard.

You don’t go to the airport for good food, but on the rare occasion you have something decent, it’s worth talking about! I had a connecting flight in the morning through Charlotte recently and had some time to get food before the second leg of my trip. I saw this place with the big “barbecue” sign on top and thought, might as well try it since I’m in North Carolina! They had a huge line waiting for the people serving you, but I stuck it out (it took about 20 minutes or so) and I got myself a big plate for breakfast. Biscuit, eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausage…and there were many more options available, my plate just got too full! All in all, it was a pretty solid breakfast - it won’t be winning any awards, but it will fill you up nicely and get you prepared for the flight ahead. I’d recommend this place if you’re ever at this airport in the morning!

Hitting Like Shots Of Tequila When I first got my BBQ Brisket sandwich I wasn’t impressed by it or the smashed potatoes that I got. I took my time to eat the meal because finding a good bbq brisket is like finding a diamond. The flavor sneaks up on you like taking shots of tequila would after having a night out on the town. The brisket was tender but that bbq sauce is the main attraction it made everything come together. The mashed potatoes were good also not overly seasoned but well balanced. I would recommend trying this place.

Meat was delicious and fried finger foods were amazing. Mac and cheese was a little too much...large quantity for the given price, considering it's airport food, it's pretty cheap and tasty for sure

I had the Chopped chicken platter with Coleslaw and Green beans. The slaw was a B, the green beans were a A, the chicken was a C. The chicken had way too much sauce on it. I would like to come back and try something else.

Very underwhelmed. Sadly you'll get a better sausage egg and cheese biscuit at burger king 4 shops over for 3 bucks less at that. Brookwood keeps the sandwiched in a food warmer wrapped up. It was barely warm by the time I ate it. Or go to panera bread, they make them to order and actually taste good and also for a few bucks less.

Really good. It has a really great flavored seasoning and smokey flavor that doesn't over power the meat. Which is good because I don't want fake BBQ that's over shines the meat and hides possibly inferior quality meats. There was no slaw, again in fine with this because the wrong slaw may not compliment your pulled pork and compensate or hide a poor meat. I got the sauce on the side, which I always do, because good barbecue shouldn't need a sauce, but I like to taste each location's sauce and rate it too. This was a really good sauce and I dipped my sammich in it and yes it compliments it nicely, but with this quality of meat you don't need the sauce unless you want it. The fried okra and pickles were mediocre, but that may have been because they were about to close and they were sitting there a long time. I would give this place another go if I have the time, there are better BBQ joints out there, but not many better airport BBQ joints.

Only two of the five items I purchased were consumption worthy. Thus the two out of five stars. The collard greens were too sweet. Collard greens are not supposed to be sweet. The mac and cheese was too bland. The pulled pork was mushy and too salty. The hush puppies and the brisket were okay. For $23 I could have gotten something better, even in the airport. I love barbecue, but I cannot recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Brookwood Farms Barbecue for the first time. I had the barbecue sandwich meal, which was good but not great. I'd give it a seven out of ten compared to other barbecue restaurants. Unfortunately, they were out of coleslaw, which was a bit disappointing. The cashier's response was that it was a free part of the meal. It felt like there wasn't enough planning to make sure they had enough of the side dishes. The sandwich was good, however, and the mashed potatoes were tasty. The atmosphere was pleasant and the prices were comparable to other establishments nearby ($15-25). The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. All in all, I had a decent experience at Brookwood Farms Barbecue.

Brisket is a little dry, but I probably got the flat. The bark could be a little crispier but overall for airport bbq it's not bad. The Mac n cheese is decent tho, hush puppies have a nice flavor to them and the fries pickles are good. Iittle pricey but it's in the airport again. 6/10 overall score.

The food here wasn't terrible. It was just cold. I really enjoyed the vinegar sauce as it brought a lot of flavor to the pulled pork sandwich. Overall for airport food it did the job and I would eat here again if I had a layover here.

This should not be the representative BBQ joint people coming through Charlotte eat at! The food was sitting out obviously all day. The brisket was hard and tough like pot roast. The pork on top of the serving container had started to turn dark and get hard. I have lived in Eastern NC and in South Carolina. I know BBQ and what it should be and this was ABYSMAL! I wouldn't feed this to my dog.

Smack dab in the middle of the Airport the staff seemed to be in a bit of a bad mood. Tottaly understand with the amount of people they deal with. As for the food they were sold out of Chicken and Ribs only leaving Turkey pulled pork and links. Ordered the Turkey thought it was okay not great not terrible just okay. Price wasn't bad for Airport food.

Solid Airport choice. If you’re in the mood for BBQ or brisket I recommend. Plenty of sides to choose from & the food is cooked and prepared which is convenient.

Nice place to get some BBQ while waiting for a flight at CLT. Food is good, and the portions are good as well. The only thing about this place that's I don't like is the prices. Eating at This place will cost you. But of course it is at an airport....

Stopped at this BBQ spot while waiting in Charlotte Airport. Brisket was thick sliced, hot, and fork tender. Had the sandwich but didn't eat much of the bun and the Mac and cheese was tolerable, not super greasy. The fried pickle was delicious.. had only planned to bite the thing but ended up eating it all. Definitely worth the stop in while in CLT.

👍👍 It was delicious, exceptional drinks, I expected a heated space, as it was cold. I definitely recommend wearing more then 2 layers in the Winter. Despite everything, this this is arguably the better rooftops in Charlotte. Delicious delicious drinks, decent prices, casual atmosphere, amazing times....

👍👍 Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good. But my spouse ordered an avocado toast and it lacked flavor. Also, the coffee was legit; really good! Also ordere...
